Ms Witness Mhlongo-Chuene - Soweto Public Relations Officer kindly advise your drivers from Sunninghill to Soweto, to change tag machines in the evening from Sunninghill. One of the reasons is that people buy tags for Sandton which is R204 and we buy Sunninghill straight R258.

When we arrive in Morniside "Clientele" it should say wrong zone and they boast that they cant buy Sunninghill straight, so we are the fools. Advise drivers ASAP

This afternoon, 15 December 2021 at 15:15 I was traveling along Malibonge Drive near Kya sands in the direction of Cosmo City, Johannesburg. Both the bus and I turned left into River Road. The bus was in the left-hand lane and I was in the right-hand lane as I was going to turn right at the top of the road to go and see the mechanic. At the top of the road, the bus driver suddenly turned right from the left-hand lane right in front of me and I had to slam on my brakes really hard to avoid hitting the bus. This is all because the bus driver wanted to make a U-Turn to go back down River Road in order to skip the traffic on Malibongwe Road that was turning right onto River Road.

I proceeded to follow the bus as I wanted to know what he was thinking driving so recklessly. Once over the robot at Malibongwe Road, the bus driver remained in the right-hand lane till we got to the stop street and suddenly he turned left at the stop street onto Bernie Street without even stopping. He then stopped on the road and I pulled in front of him and stopped. I proceeded to get out of my car to ask him why he was driving so recklessly and putting people's lives in danger and then he and his co-driver threatened to hit me. He quickly jumped behind the wheel to drive away and in doing so, he turned the bus towards me and hit me as I was standing on the sidewalk.

I then climbed back into my car and proceeded to follow him to the Kya Sands Putco Bus Depot. I also went into the Depot and asked for the supervisor to report the incident. By this time the bus driver was acting all innocent. The supervisor gave me a number to call to report the incident, [protected]. By the time I could actually call the number it was after hours already and there was no answer.

1 December 2021, approximately 9am: Bus number 1686 with registration FR22NBGP. Driver with passengers using his mobile phone while driving. Cut me off and swerves between lanes. Literally breaking the law. Not to mention how unsafe it is to operate a large vehicle like a bus with passengers! This driver should not operate a motor vehicle, let alone a bus where lives are at risk and his FULL attention to the road is a must.

The driver of bus no:1837 T, driver no: 463 who drives a morning shift from Pretoria to Rathoke via Mamelodi leaving many passengers in bus stops of Mamelodi. He has deadlock and was hired to take people in each and every stop to whereverhe is going. We will get fired from our jobs others will be late please discipline him. I think it was for the first time he drives this side. He must not leave us in bus stop with our tickets

Today the bus driver wanted to leave me on the freeway he told me to walk to Bosmont I said to him I'm not walking its to far for me to walk and I paid to be dropped off at my stop he swore at me every day this driver treats us with no respect he also told me that he will leave me behind if I dont have a tag but didn't have a problem when black passengers got onto the bus with no tag please something needs to be done about this drivers behavior

I am 19 year old girl who attends around Deerness, Pretoria and travel by Putco bus everyday from Dennilton.In the morning I manage to catch a bus at 4h30 @Moteti bus stop(1700s) the driver is very understanding and coopeerates very good with passengers, my problem is in the afternoon which takes off at 15h00 at Belle Ombre(4034S).The driver swears at the passengers and today(08/11/2021) I specially asked him to give me a ride since he always passes me by bus stops around Voltex and he refused to and said "there are no bus stops for Dennilton there" and I replied by saying "That's why I asked you specially because I wait an hour more to catch a bus that goes home" and he seemed not to care.

I got inside a bus 9284 boarded at meadowlands police station going to sandton am a cash rider. The service I got from the driver this morning he even sweared at me calling fotsik. Am putco passenger as well is just that due to covid I only go to work once a week so now am riding with cash.

When I got inside a bus normally with other drivers I will place a cash on a ticket machine for them to sanitize I guess so I also dis the same thing on this bus instead tellling me nicely that he want his cash on hand not placed on the ticket machine he started shouting at me as if am a child he continued and made me stand there as others with tickets bordered telling me I will stand there untill everyone is inside the next think when he gave me the ticket he sweared at me

Imagine my day been ruined. I hope something will be done with this driver or I will have to tell my husband to deal with him. Cause I cannot be treated in such a manner. Humiliated in the morning spoiling my day.

Ø Illovo Trupps : 14h45 to 15h45 on Mondays and Fridays.

This is a huge inconvenience to us Diep Kloof residents in the surrounding areas, like zone 4. Who now have to spend more money and time going all the way to Bara.

The vehicle drove in front of me and braked suddenly came behind me and drive to close flashing his lights the came next to me and pushed me off the road when i took a picture of his registration plate he stopped in the middle of the road and opened his doors while not looking for other drivers this happend at 14:57 in Pretoria street with registration number:HC 42 RV GP

I buy bus tags because it it affordable and convenient but Putco is unreliable!
No busses to Merafe station and if they come they come too early when no one is at the bus stop.

Today I had to wait for close to an hour and the bus never can. Myself and many commuters knock off at 5 pm so if the bus is at the bus stop at 5 who's going to get in?

It's unfair because we buy trips and they expire if not used and on top of that we need to have cash just in case the bus doesn't show up. Poor service and some bus drivers are really rude.

I just listen to the news, and it was said that several PUTCO busses was not roadworthy that was traveling on the M0loto road.

On mail trail please find a photo of a Mpumalanga bus that is not roadworthy, per my opinion.

I request you to investigate this matter urgently, as I can't believe that you have this bus on the road, and that you get paid to transport people.

Then you still transport living people with families in it.

It is alarming.

On Friday the 25th June 2021 @ approx..4:00pm in Marabastad station i was driving out little did i know that the street i used was for buses so i got stuck and had to wait for the buses to start moving so i can come off that street, the driver of this plate number JVX 627 MP deliberately blocked me from driving out of that street, when he saw that some people were helping & directing me to maneuver so i can drive out because ive been waiting for over 20 minutes he then reversed into my car and scratched and cracked my mirror.

His actions were very deliberate and based on the fact that im a young woman and there was nothing i could do to him. Its a clear case of bullying and taking advantage of women. Had it been a man in the car he would have not done that. Even after plenty of attempts by vendors asking him to make way for he just ignored them. I did not want to confront nor ask him anything because i didn't know what would come of it as Putco drivers a synonymous with violence, hence i decided to take his number plates and a picture so that he can be reprimanded for his actions.

No one is entitled to any road/street, we all must be respectful of each other regardless of age and gender and as a member of the EFF i have raised this issue with my branch because women shouldnt be subjected to bullying by men who are old enough to be there fathers.

Was involved in an accident with one of your busses. I was joining the lane the bus was driving on. Guy saw me changing lanes and decided to accelerate, scratched my car and literally damaged the whole of my cars left side. He didn't bother to stop. Continued to drive. I live in Soweto and I am using the Vilakazi to Rivonia route, the problem we struggling with buses that side to and from work and that is not nice. In the morning the 9060 shift driver he shows up whenever he feels like it most days we are stranded
Evening from sunninghill buses are scarce after 5 we waited until 6 yesterday and that's not safe cause people get mugged waiting for a bus. It's winter now it get dark quickly.
Please someone do something about this situation

Bus travelling in excess of 100 km/h in 80 km/h and nearly side swiped me.

This morning at 6am I was met by one of your drivers on the Rooihuiskraal Road in Centurion
Bus 5974 registration number YFF 648 GP
It was a 60km/ph zone and I already accelerated my vehicle to drive 105km p/h. Apparently I was not going fast enough for this driver and he tried to overtake me on a solid white line, he saw oncoming traffic and that he won't make it in time and swerved back into his lane behind me, nearly hitting my car. When we entered a double lane, he passed me on my right and started showing me signs swearing at me as if I was the idiot speeding on a severely wet road while it was pouring down with rain. This reckless driving is absolutely unacceptable and intimidation by the bus driver as well. I sincerely hope you address this driver before he kills someone next time with his reckless driving.

Bad service from a bus driver shift number 9149, we were about to connect at Florida as our bus got stuck shift number 9051 at northcliffe. We waited and awaited for Dobsonville buses with no luck after five there comes 9149 not even fully loaded, the driver shouting his not taking standing, ok why him as there are buses are taking standing, with people standing at the door the driver closes the door people nearly got injured and the bags were hanging outside.. 1 is it right to treat people like this I felt like we were animals nd he placed our lives in danger.. 2 I had to end up using my own money taking a a taxi, arriving late at home, I knocked off 3 o'clock I got home at 6h45 is all this far, this treatments we're getting from the bus drivers are worse and getting worse by day, we can't take it anymore and I want my taxi fare money I spent and a written apology from the driver himself and these behaviors must change as they are getting worse by day, we spend our money's to buy tags as we are expecting good service from the drivers

The buses are old, dirty, and disgusting. Making It to work without the bus breaking down is a miracle. So dirty to the point that you feel disrespected as a customer that you spend money and support a business that doesn't deserve it.
They don't have competition in that area, they are the only mode of transport hence the disregard for our money.
I can not wait for another competitor to provide customers with the same service in the future.
They will lose all their customers. we are disregarded and treated like pigs because they know it's the only mode of public transport transmitting in the morning and evenings on that route...

On the 15th of September 2020 at around 06:40 in the morning a putco buss bumped my car and I was with my 3 year old in the car he just drove off. My whole front part of the car was damaged my fork lights are not working anymore and my rear mirror on the right hand side is not functioning well like it used too, and the water pumb is broken as well. I was so dissapointed that he is the one who is at fault because I was waiting on the right lane on Tsamaya road approaching Masakhane brigde. He just damage my car and drove off like nothing happened. This is so traumatic for me and my little boy, I would have died, Thank God he saved my life. Or he took an advantage that I am a lady.
