To the contrary I received an email on 9/29/2025 that stated "Thank you for being a valued Public Storage customer. We’re committed to providing you with excellent service at clean, convenient, and professionally managed locations. Effective October 1, 2025, the state sales tax rate on commercial and self-service storage rent will no longer apply, affecting your monthly rent payments going forward. Starting with your October 1, 2025, your updated monthly charges will be: "Spoke to an agent and she said an email was sent out (I NEVER received an email) on 9/30/2025 about the rate going up due to a market analysis which supersedes that 9/29/2025 rate change.
