I first noticed rat or mice droppings and the smell of pee throughout the space and realized I would need to throw away any cloth items and platforms that the rodents had walked on. I informed the attendant on site; they admitted that there was an issue but nothing they could do. When I returned to clear out the unit I found a decomposing dead rat in the unit with flies and maggots and a horrible smell. I have photos of the decomposing rat and maggots after the rat was removed as well as the rodent droppings on the floor of the unit after stuff was removed.

Desired outcome: Refund of 1 month rent for the month of March 2026. Had to leave the storage unit early because of unsanitary conditions.
