Hello to you i'm James The Jeweler in Atlanta, Ga and i also have my own jewelry discussion group here under "JEWELRY & WATCHES" i read your complaint and i must advice you and all others on this site TO STOP BUYING T.V. JEWELRY! if you don't have a GIA CERTIFICATE like i do, nor are you a REAL JEWELER like myself, stop buying T.V. JEWELRY!

These show hosts will sell you the earth if you allow them to, and Tanzanite is 1000 times rarer than a diamond and it is a gemstone you must get educated on before you buy it. I always try to educate my own clients on precious gemstones such as Tanzanite.

Let me say this again everyone who's reading my response to this complaint THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A GOOD DEAL ON "QUALITY LOOSE DIAMONDS, GEMSTONES, OR DIAMOND JEWELRY." You get what you pay for, and you're never going to get a GOOD DEAL on T.V. JEWELRY unless you like to gamble, and even if you do you're still going to lose.

If you have any jewelry questions for me, or you need my jewelry services feel free to contact me.

Hello to you i'm James The Jeweler in Atlanta, Ga and i also have my own jewelry discussion group here under "JEWELRY & WATCHES" i read your complaint and i must say that it seems to me you don't own a REAL MOVADO 800 SERIES WATCH? i'm a REAL JEWELER WHO HAS SOLD MANY WATCHES IN MY 14 YEARS OF BEING IN THE JEWELRY BUSINESS, and i've never heard of a MOVADO watch doing this within 1 year of your ownership.

Here's some important info on this MOVADO 800 SERIES WATCH i think you might need to know below:

The new line of watches by Movado - Series 800 – presents a specially designed Series 800 Automatic Chronograph.

The watch features a steel case measuring 43 mm in diameter protected by sapphire crystal both from the front and back cases. The case is equipped with a rotating bezel. New chronograph is 200 water resistant.

The 800 Automatic Chronograph accommodates an automatic ETA 2894. The watch has a black or silver dial. It goes on an XTremeResin strap reinforced with genuine Kevlar.

Now a SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL is the most durable CRYSTAL on any watch you can wear, and i don't quite understand how this watch you have is basically fading away in so short of a time? i strongly believe your watch is a COUNTERFEIT OR A "CHEAP" KNOCKOFF. Why don't you take your watch to a REPUTABLE JEWELER IN YOUR CITY and find out for yourself.

If you have any other questions for me feel free to contact me.

I forgot to mention what this watch is selling for as well. This watches sells from $800 and up so i don't know how your watch could be a REAL MOVADO 800 SERIES but the numbers are fading away within 1 year of you owning it, and you're only wearing it as a dress watch. Not to mention it's badly scratched? this watch is made of STAINLESS STEEL! so where are these SCRATCHES coming from if you're only wearing it as a dress watch?

The SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL on this watch is SCRATCH RESISTANT.

I think your watch is a COUNTERFEIT so get it checked immediately, but i'm sure i'm right! i feel someone gave you as a 75 year old birthday guy a gift that should've never met you, and i hate seeing cases like this because this gift is not even worthy of a man like you who has lived longer than many people have and ever will.

Hello to you i'm James The Jeweler in Atlanta, Ga and i also have my own educational jewelry discussion group here under "JEWELRY & WATCHES" i read your complaint and i want to inform you and everyone else here again THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A WARRANTY ON YOUR JEWELRY! if any jeweler or jewelry store offers this to you it's to get additional money out of you? these jewelry stores are NOT going to honor any WARRANTIES on their POOR QUALITY JEWELRY. They use this tactic to seal the deal with unsuspecting customers who visit their stores.

I have NEVER OFFERED A WARRANTY ON ANY JEWELRY I SELL because i don't sell, promote, nor advertise POOR QUALITY JEWELRY. I will also tell you that i do believe your diamonds ALREADY HAD THOSE CRACKS IN THEM BEFORE YOU EVEN BOUGHT THAT RING AND SOMETIMES JEWELERS WILL HIDE THESE FLAWS OR DEFECTS BEHIND THE SETTINGS SO THAT A CUSTOMER WILL NOT SEE IT UPON INSPECTION.

Diamonds may be the hardest substance know to man but they CAN BREAK OR CHIP IF HIT THE RIGHT WAY, but you'll have to hit your ring pretty hard to do that though.

It also does not take that long to do any of the things this jewelry store PROCLAIMS they needed time to do, in the future if you're going to visit a jewelry store MAKE SURE IT'S A FULL SERVICE JEWELRY STORE WHERE EVERYTHING IS HANDLED ON PREMISES, IF NOT THEN DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS JEWELRY STORE.

If you have any jewelry questions for me feel free to contact me.
Hello to you i'm James The Jeweler in Atlanta, Ga and i also have my own educational jewelry discussion group here under "JEWELRY & WATCHES" i read your complaint and i want to inform you to STOP BUYING T.V. JEWELRY, WHEN IT COMES TO "TANZANITE" THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A GOOD DEAL.

Tanzanite is 1000 times rarer than a diamond now why would anyone want to sell you a Triple A quality Tanzanite off of a tv screen knowing this? Tanzanite is a precious gemstone that has a very lively color not many gemstones close to its' color has.

If you'd like to purchase a quality Tanzanite that is Triple A quality feel free to contact me, and let me know your budget for the Tanzanite you'd like to own. I'd also like to know what shape and carat weight you're interested in as well.

You can feel free to contact me here or at my contacts below:

@ "GEMSTV FAN" apparently you probably work for this "GARBAGE" T.V. JEWELRY RETAILER but i'm here to assure the members who have been BURNED BY DECEPTIVE FAKE JEWELERS that i will teach them to fight back and win, and i will also get them the jewelry that thought they were paying for in the first place.

Just so that you know "GEMSTV FAN" i've posted some other COMPLAINTS LINKS ABOUT "GEMSTV" below for you to visit and read up on, so in the future when you ATTEMPT TO THROW STONES AT A MEMBER'S GLASS HOUSE ON THIS SITE, YOU'LL REMEMBER YOU LIVE IN ONE AS WELL. Never tell anyone to get over being lied to or DISRESPECTED when the only thing this member was trying to do was buy an item of jewelry they thought would be of QUALITY but it wasn't.

EVERYONE HERE'S SOME OTHER COMPLAINT LINKS ON "GEMSTV" BELOW IF YOU'D LIKE TO GO READ THEM!

http://www.complaints.com/Gems-TV-172367/Ring-Return-with-Tag-172367.html

NOW "GEMSTV FAN" YOU MAY WORK FOR THAT GARBAGE JEWELRY RETAILER "GEMSTV" AND I REALLY DON'T CARE BUT THERE ARE MANY SITES WHO ARE TELLING THEIR OWN HORRIBLE STORIES OF THIS BAD NEWS RETAILER "GEMSTV" AND I'M GOING TO HELP THE MEMBERS HERE FIGHT THEM AND WIN AS MUCH AS I CAN.
Hello i'm James The Jeweler in Atlanta, Ga and i read your complaint here and I HONESTLY MUST SAY YOU SHOULD'VE NEVER THOUGHT YOU'D GET A "QUALITY" 2CT PRINCESS CUT DIAMOND FOR $10, 000? but i'm not going to bite your head off because you're not a jeweler so you didn't know what you were really paying for, you thought you were getting DEAL ON A LARGE DIAMOND when in reality you weren't.

Now i'm a REAL JEWELER as well as a GRADUATE GEMOLOGIST and the first thing i'm going to tell you as well as anyone else here who may be reading my comment, DON'T EVER BUY A DIAMOND WITH "BLACK CARBON" IN IT, though this is a natural occurance in some diamonds, I DON'T SELL DIAMONDS WITH "BLACK CARBON" IN THEM, AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU BUY THEM FROM ANY JEWELERS.

Everyone if you're going to pay GOOD MONEY FOR A SOLITAIRE DIAMOND OF 1/2CT AND LARGER MAKE SURE THE DIAMOND IS "CERTIFIED." "CERTIFIED" diamonds have more value than "UN-CERTIFIED" diamonds because with "CERTIFIED" diamonds you'll know their TRUE CUT, COLOR, CLARITY, & CARAT WEIGHT of the diamond you're buying or have bought.

If you're on a BUDGET and you want a large diamond i suggest you get diamonds with a color of no less than I color, and no less than an I1 clarity. Though I1 is considered an "IMPERFECT CLARITY" it's really not because many I1 clarity diamonds are "EYE CLEAN" but make sure you cannot see any inclusions with your naked eye, like the SI clarity diamonds that are considered "EYE CLEAN" diamonds. Never buy any solitaire diamond that you can see inclusions with your naked eye, regardless of whether it's an SI clarity or an I1 clarity, and never buy diamonds that may have an inclusion you can see with your naked eye IN THE CENTER OF THE DIAMOND. Diamonds that have " NAKED EYE VISIBLE" inclusions in the center of the diamond are considered LOW QUALITY DIAMONDS so stay away from those makes of diamonds as well.

If anyone here ever needs my assistance on getting a "QUALITY SOLITAIRE DIAMOND" feel free to contact me.
ATTENTION EVERYONE: I FORGOT TO INFORM YOU ALL THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS "MALL QUALITY DIAMONDS" YOU EITHER HAVE A "QUALITY" DIAMOND OR YOU DON'T. I LAUGHED WHEN I READ THE TERM "MALL QUALITY" BECAUSE THESE TYPES OF DIAMONDS DON'T EXIST.

QUALITY DIAMONDS ARE QUALITY DIAMONDS, AND POOR QUALITY DIAMONDS ARE POOR QUALITY DIAMONDS, THERE'S NO COMPROMISING WHEN IT COMES TO DIAMOND QUALITY AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED.

I DO HAVE A TERM FOR A CONSUMER WHO'S LOOKING FOR A DIAMOND WITHIN THEIR PRE-SET BUDGET AND THAT'S AN "EDUCATED DIAMOND BUYER" WHO KNOWS WHAT HE OR SHE WANTS AND IS LEARNING FROM ME ON HOW TO GET IT.

Hello to you i'm James The Jeweler and i also have my own educational jewelry discussion group here under "JEWELRY & WATCHES" i read your complaint and i first want to say to you that i'm a REAL JEWELER IN ATLANTA and that your situation is not unique, but by the same token this a true BREACH OF CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE JEWELRY STORE. You should've never walked out of that jewelry store with a receipt if you weren't able to put the jewelry you wanted to buy on LAY-AWAY.

Let me say this to you as well as everyone else here who's reading my response to you NEVER BUY ANY "WARRANTIES" on jewelry they're NOT VALID AND IN MANY CASES THEY'LL NEVER BE HONORED BY THE JEWELRY STORE, JEWELRY STORE "WARRANTIES" ARE ANOTHER WAY FOR THE JEWELRY STORE TO GET ADDITIONAL MONEY FROM YOU. I don't offer JEWELRY WARRANTIES because i don't sell LOW QUALITY JEWELRY in the first place.

I've listed an organization i feel could greatly help you in this matter and they are THE JEWELER'S VIGILANCE COMMITTEE and their website address & phone number is below. I'd like for you to contact them to file a complaint against this jewelry store immediately, because they are an organization who goes after jewelry stores who are not in compliance with their ethics and policies of being a jeweler to the public. I don't approve of how you were treated in any way, and also i would like for you to contact the GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS IN THE CITY OR STATE WHERE THIS COMPANY IS LOCATED, TO FILE ANOTHER COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM.

I'm a REAL ONLINE JEWELER in the city of Atlanta, and i've bought many NEW & PRE-OWNED CARTIER WATCHES for my clients, and i've never had any issues with their merchandise, but when i see any jewelry company MIS-TREATING customers such as yourself who have been LONG TIME CUSTOMERS SPENDING THE AMOUNTS OF MONEY YOU HAVE WITH CARTIER, i have to do something to bring a resolution to your problem, that's the very reason i decided to join this site, to help the jewelry buying consumer FIGHT THE BIG JEWELRY STORES AND COMPANIES AND WIN!

ANDREW! LET ME SAY THIS VERY CLEAR TO YOU AND EVERYONE WHO MAY BE READING MY RESPONSE TO YOU, DO NOT BUY ANOTHER "WARRANTY" FOR ANYTHING INCLUDING YOUR PERSONAL JEWELRY OR "CARTIER" GLASSES REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU'VE PAID FOR THEM. "WARRANTIES" ARE NOTHING BUT LIES IN "BLACK & WHITE" WRITTEN OR TYPED ON PAPER, AND THESE JEWELRY STORES OFFER THESE "BOGUS PIECES OF PAPER" ONLY TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU DURING THE INITIAL SALE OF THEIR JEWELRY TO YOU. THESE JEWELRY STORES "ARE NOT" GOING TO HONOR ANY "WARRANTIES" THEY OFFERED YOU OVER THE LIFETIME OF THE JEWELRY YOU'VE PURCHASED FROM THEM, SO DON'T EVER BUY ANOTHER "WARRANTY" AGAIN. I STRONGLY FEEL THAT WHEN A JEWELER OFFERS A CUSTOMER A "WARRANTY" HE OR SHE IS ALREADY SAYING TO THE CUSTOMER, THEIR JEWELRY IS POOR QUALITY AND YOU AS A CUSTOMER DON'T KNOW IT YET, BUT SOON YOU WILL, AND WHEN YOU FIND OUT, THE JEWELRY STORE "IS NOT" GOING TO HONOR ANY "WARRANTY" THEY PERSUADED YOU TO BUY.

ANDREW if you have any questions for me or would like my jewelry services feel free to contact me here, or at my contacts below, and i hope my response will get you the resolution you deserve!

Hello to you i'm James The Jeweler in Atlanta, Ga and let me first say the BEST WAY TO NOT BE SCAMMED IS TO NOT SEND YOUR OWN JEWELRY TO A COMPANY WHO'S NOT IN THE SAME CITY OR STATE AS YOU! also i STRONGLY SUGGEST you all understand you're not JEWELERS so you're NOT going to pay the same price for the jewelry you own as i would if i were buying it from a jewelry manufacturer. Regardless of what you think you're not paying JEWELER'S COST for the jewelry you own, you're paying RETAIL PRICES as you're supposed to.

I ALSO SUGGEST YOU ALL LEARN HOW TO CALCULATE THE COST OF YOUR OWN GOLD BASED UPON ITS' WEIGHT USING A SCALE. No matter how many times i try to inform some of you here on WHAT NOT TO DO i log on and i read another member doing the exact opposite of what i teach you NOT TO DO!

When you see the gold market is over $900 that DOES NOT MEAN your 14kt gold jewelry is worth $900 so if you're thinking you're going to get a whole lot of money for the lightweight jewelry you own, don't be surprised when you don't. I've posted a LAYMAN'S TERM link below for you all to visit and learn how to CALCULATE THE COST OF YOUR OWN SCRAP GOLD.

Everyone i STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE "JEWELER'S VIGILANCE COMMITTEE" concerning ART CARVED. I've never done business with this company because i have much better WEDDING RING MANUFACTURERS i buy from being the jeweler i am.

The website to THE JEWELER'S VIGILANCE COMMITTEE is: http://www.jvclegal.org/Consumers/index.php?categoryid=20

CONTACT THE JEWELER'S VIGILANCE COMMITTEE BY PHONE FROM 9AM - 5PM MON - FRI

You may reach JVC via:
Telephone: [protected]
Fax: [protected]

Another thing i ask that you all do is contact the GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS IN THE SAME CITY OR STATE "ART CARVED" DOES BUSINESS IN AND FILE YOUR COMPLAINT WITH THEM AS WELL.
Hello to you i'm James The Jeweler in Atlanta, Ga and i will try to help you here and give you some resources you can contact and wear this jewelry store's ### out! first and foremost if your fiance has a receipt on it WITHOUT "NO REFUNDS" on it, nor HAVE IT POSTED IN FULL VIEW FOR CUSTOMERS TO SEE they cannot tell you at the last minute THEY DON'T DO REFUNDS!

I ask that you contact THE JEWELER'S VIGILANCE COMMITTEE FOR CONSUMERS and their website is:

CONTACT THE JEWELER'S VIGILANCE COMMITTEE BY PHONE:

You may reach JVC via: FROM 9AM - 5PM MON - FRI
Telephone: [protected]
Fax: [protected]

I also ask that you contact THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS IN THE SAME STATE WHERE THIS JEWELRY STORE DOES BUSINESS AND "FILE YOUR COMPLAINT" AGAINST THEM AS WELL.

Should you have any questions for me feel free to contact me.
CORRECTION: I wanted to say to you if your fiance has a receipt that does not have "NO REFUNDS" PRINTED ON IT, NOR IF THE JEWELRY STORE HAS A "NO REFUND POLICY POSTED IN PLAIN VIEW" IN THEIR JEWELRY STORE, THEY CANNOT LEGALLY NOR VERBALLY IMPOSE THIS NO REFUND POLICY ON YOUR FIANCE.

Let me give you some REALLY GOOD ADVICE AS WELL, IF YOU CAN GO TAKE A PHOTO OF THE FRONT COUNTER AREA OF THE JEWELRY STORE TO SHOW THAT THERE'S POSTING OF A "NO REFUND POLICY" THERE. THEN YOU CAN SHOW THE PROPER AUTHORITIES THAT YOU ARE NOT LYING ABOUT THIS JEWELRY STORE.
Take a photo of the front counter area to show the proper authorities that this jewelry store HAS NOT POSTED A "NO REFUNDS POLICY" IN THEIR JEWELRY STORE ANYWHERE. Doing this will help you greatly when you file your complaint against the jewelry store.
Hello to you i'm James The Jeweler and i'm a ONLINE JEWELER IN ATLANTA, i read your complaint here and i must say that i'm so sorry to read you even had to face this type of customer service from the BOGUS JEWELRY STORE. Let me inform you of this fact for future reference, most of the jewelry store you visit DO NOT set their own diamonds, nor size their own rings. They outsource the MAJORITY of their work to other jewelers who have jewelry repairers on their premises.

In my own business i have my own jewelry repairer who's also a "CERTIFIED" WATCH REPAIRER as well. I will never appreciate the LACK OF RESPECT some of these jewelry store have for their customers as well as their POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

Let me ask that you FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS JEWELRY STORE WITH THE "JEWELER'S VIGILANCE COMMITTEE FOR CONSUMERS." I have posted the web address and contact phone number below for you to use.

DO NOT BUY ANY "WARRANTIES" AND I'M ALSO A REAL ATLANTA JEWELER! I DON'T OFFER ANY "WARRANTIES" ON ANY JEWELRY I SELL DUE TO THE FACT THAT I DON'T SELL "DEFECTIVE JEWELRY" AS MANY OF THESE FAKE JEWELER'S DO.

I strongly feel a customer should pay as they go when they purchase their jewelry, if your ring needs to be sized, you should pay for that at that time, if anything goes wrong with your jewelry you should pay for it at the time you get it repaired. A "WARRANTY" IS NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF PAPER TO MAKE MORE MONEY OFF OF THE CUSTOMER, AND I DON'T CARE WHAT ANY OTHER JEWELER HERE HAS TO SAY ABOUT MY RESPONSE. What if you never need to use your "WARRANTY" in the next 5 years? will the jeweler REFUND all of the money you paid into this WARRANTY? HELL NO, THEY'RE GOING TO KEEP EVERY DIME!

My customers APPRECIATE my HONESTY & INTEGRITY when it comes to what i do, as well as how i treat them. If you sell QUALITY JEWELRY from the beginning, you'll never need to offer any WARRANTIES to a potential customer.
