Hi Brocko i'm an Atlanta retail jeweler and after reading your post here. I assure you that you DID NOT BUY SURGICAL STEEL! You bought a metal that has NICKEL in it, and this is the cause of your skin irritation. The NICKEL content in the metal the jewelry was made with.
Hi justicex0 after reading your complaint here, it seems to me that your ring has a NICKEL ALLOY in it. Which means that you're allergic to the NICKEL ALLOY this gold was mixed with upon this ring being made. I will also inform you that a RHODIUM PLATING will NEVER cause you to have any allergic reactions to your ring.
RHODIUM is a member of the PLATINUM FAMILY and it is also HYPO-ALLERGENIC. It's very unfortunate that many of these chain jewelry stores are not forthcoming with what they're selling to their perspective jewelry customers!

Reading your comment here I must tell you that I am a GRADUATE GEMOLOGIST. And if your fiancee bought you an I2 clarity diamond. That means "INCLUSIONS ARE VISIBLE TO YOUR NAKED EYE" so apparently he didn't mind the quality he purchased for you. Or he wasn't concerned about the EYE VISIBLE INCLUSIONS in the diamond he purchased for you.
I myself DO NOT SELL I2 clarity diamonds of any color UNLESS my client/clients strictly request one. And even if they do i'm going to select one for them that is almost an SI2 in its clarity.
After reading your complaint here I honestly have to say that you've been had! There's not much you'll be able to do in regards to your complaint. I've visited this site and it seems this company is outside the jurisdiction of the law enforcement officials. You're going to have to learn to do better when it comes to your money, and scam phone calls such what as you've received.

From looking at the photo you've posted with your complaint I see BLACK CARBON inside of your diamond! I certainly don't sell any color of diamonds with BLACK CARBON in them!
