I had a similar experience as you did. I too was scammed with a $1000.03 moving estimate from Maryland to Arizona and ended up paying them $1500.00 for half of my belongings. Luckily nothing that was delivered was broken but minor damage was done to a tv stand. Almost all my boxes looked like it had been tossed around and a few had been opened. My laundry basket was filthy had some sort of nasty gunk on the bottom of it and i had received two items that were not mine but the driver insisted it was just because it had my sticker on it. the items I'm missing are
13 inch tv (tube not LCD)
Computer (cables, monitor, mouse&keyboard along with tower)
a single 4 drawer dresser
comcast cable box (We had agreed with comcast that we were to send it back once we had gotten to Arizona)
1 cordless telephone
A foreman grill
electric can opener
electric 4 cup coffee maker
A box full of shoes and 2 umbrellas, scarves, mittens etc.. (Another person who had been scammed by them actually called me about this and said they were sending it to me)
1 or 2 boxes of books.
A box full of dishes (cups, plates, bowels etc..)
1 chair
1 love seat
1 twin mattress and box spring.
the love seat and twin mattress is not a big deal we were going to get rid of them anyway but still was missing.
Had we not been getting evicted from our apartment we probably would have done more homework on Destination movers. Something interesting I found out about them was they originally were licensed under a different name but by 2017 they closed for some reason and reopened in 2017 under destination movers. I had contacted the attorney general about them and the BBB and many other organizations about this and they either refer me to someone else or like the BBB close my case put it under public file and that's it. I'm so sorry that you were scammed just like me and i hope things work out for you.

OH MY GOD YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME. YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE SOMEONES GOING TO BUY THIS ### OH PLEASE! KARMA IS COMING TO GET YOU SUCKERS AND YOU WILL BE SORRY.
To carol: That was a completely unnecessary remark on your part. I was scammed by these people as well as the driver who didn't even work for that company but what was a sub-contractor that's all they work with is sub-contractors they don't move things themselves. I was told there was 3 other moving companies sub-contracted by Destination movers who in turn have lost half of my belongings and am sure that once people start getting there stuff will realize the belongings they have are not theres at all. Some people such as myself did not have time to "research" and did not start researching them until they have called Destination movers to set up delivery. Around delivery time is when the worst problems happen. There is a post on here from someone who use to work for them and have confirmed that they screw people. Yes i will agree it is a hard lesson to learn but how can you defend a company you have not used never worked with and have never had a problem with them.
To Andrew: I feel for you and I share the same pain all we can due is just complain and try filing law suits which never get you anywhere. Some one else had quoted on another website saying that they have all the paperwork it may not be what they told you but its basically your word against theres and they can claim that you did this and said this all they want and get away with it because they have the so called "paperwork". It sucks knowing that I and a lot of others have had to deal with tremendous stress and headaches because of these people and for anyone to tell you its your fault there wrong it is not your fault. E-mail me if you want to talk.
To the comment above me Hun i believe it is time to call it a loss with this company. There asking way to much of you money wise and that is not right. what you can try and do is file a lawsuit against this company even try calling the police to see what they can do for you. e-mail a gentleman names Justin Wilson at justin_wilson@moverescue.com and see what he can do for you.
I totally agree with you and if i had known how manipulative and crooked they were i would have never hired them.
My situation was quite similar to yours and I was working with Anna as well, who kept telling me the exact same thing she had told you that it was on its way. She kept telling me that she could not tell me where my stuff was exactly so I was mostly left in the dark. the movers who were delivering my belongings did sort of the same thing wanted cash only and they also told me it was not there problem anymore and that i had to tell Anna to fly my stuff personally to my house. I later found out my stuff was in a storage unit in phoenix had i known that i would have used that money to go and rent a u haul and pick it up. the driver told me he wanted an extra $200 because he claimed he had tried to stop by but i told him that was a lie because i am home 247 so they dropped the $200. I did not receive all my belongings either. I had only received some and 2 items that were not mine, but the driver insisted i take it because it had my sticker on it. I saw the back end of his truck and the thing was packed all the way to the door full of stuff. Things were looking misplaced all over and my boxes looked like they had been run over about 20 times. luckily nothing was broken. I had contacted the BBB and later come to find out they closed me case due to a lack of response from Destination movers but it was placed on public record. I agree something needs to be done and i just cant figure out how to do it.
e-mail me with some ideas if you have any.
Omg i feel for you and it also happened to me too Hun and your right no one should have to go through what we have. please have that lady you are talking about send me an e-mail i would like to file a complaint with her as well.
Please contact me i have some useful info that i would like to share with you.
wow that's terrible send me a message i have some good news for you.
Yeah this is completely wrong and i do see a pattern with these people because i too had a similar experience different day different city/state. There needs to be something done about this company for good they cant keep doing this to people. But karma will come and bite them on the butt sooner then u think.
Please contact me asap i know of someone who can help us get justice.
Thanks,
Andrea.
oops i thought you were one of them... anyways i feel for you same story different time its disturbing send me a message and we can do something about this
This world has already become killings and thievery have you been living under a rock? The employees were probably trained to act like nothing happened or they probably noticed and didn't want to start a commotion. There is literally thousands of reasons why they didn't react to the beeping and i for one agree that the stupid thing goes off all the time. It's honestly put there to scare people into thinking they cant shoplift(i should know because i worked at a store that had 1 and i talked to the AP) but reality is they do it anyway. So if you think about it there are security cameras all over the store and if no one was paying attention oh well who cares its there own fault they lost money you didn't. Why put a complaint on here that signals every criminal to go out and rob a Walgreen's because now they know the employees don't care and they it was because of you they can get away with it. WAY TO GO GENIUS!
I worked for Target in Hyattsville Maryland for ten months I got injured on the job and they wouldnt let me do a workman's comp. They claimed i had no proof. They treat their employees like crap no worse then crap. We moved for Maryland to AZ and my boyfriend kept his job with target. From what i understand there playing a not so funny game with him. One minute there claiming he's a team lead the next minute he is not a team lead but luckily he is getting paid a team leads pay. So now there closing the store for remodeling they have many choices of what you can do during this time. You can either take a LOA for 6 months unpaid, you can transfer to another store but are not guaranteed your position you had before. The other choice is you can quit or retire and if you have been working there for less than a year and you decided to quit your basically screwed because they will only pay for 2 weeks. Either way target screws there people and its not fast fun and friendly. its more like turbo speed hurry up and do twenty tasks at once and then it really isn't all that fun and no one is friendly there.
I was a cashier for target and i thankfully quit that stupid job and sometimes cashiers will ask some wont ask at all it all depends on who you get. By law with any OTC meds by law have to ask for id. I cant tell you why she didn't accept the id because all it has to have is a birthday on it and a picture. If they didn't have either of those things the cashier is not allowed to accept it. They are also only suppose to accept state id's but again depends on who you get. may i suggest not getting meds from target again.. try walmart!
hahahaha I worked for target... There corp. office is in Minnesota how freaking American can u get. Target is by no means french.. Don't believe this crap...
OMG i know exactly what you mean i worked for them too from September 2007 to may 2008 I use to have to go over night to put up signs for ad prep it was terrible how they worked. I'm so sorry that happened to you and remember they will get what they deserve.
OMG I know exactly what everyone here is talking about and i have had the same experience please contact Jessica i did and am on my way to making this better. We need to do something about this and quick before it is to late. To max who has posted on here you are a horrible horrible man and you are just so ugh i cant even bring myself to say the things i want to say. I agree if you and your company is so f'ing great WHY DO YOU HAVE SO MANY COMPLAINTS? This company sucks the people who work there are not any better please tell me how you can sleep at night you selfish ###! you are on your way to getting what you deserve.
Destination movers inc delivered my items on October 23rd 2008. Over half of my items were missing and so i called the company a day after delivery and asked if they knew why or where my belongings were. I was told by the representative Ana that I needed to send them an e-mail of what was missing and she would call down to the warehouse and have them take a look. At this time I also asked for a full refund which she told me i would need to fill out a refund form and then they would issue my refund. I was never sent a form for the refund nor did i get a call from Ana about my belongings. I had called back and she told me someone was suppose to look for them on November 7th 2008 and again she would call me back which she didn't. I called over to Destination movers over 2 weeks ago and when i spoke to Ana she told me the same thing that she didn't know anything and that she would call me when she does. I then asked to speak to Max who is suppose to be the manager of Destination movers and he wasn't very helpful either. He did inform me that i had to send in the certified mail my list of belongings that were missing not over an e-mail like i was told in the beginning. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes at a time and was transferred to Ana and another man named Ruben. Ruben took over my call from there he asked me what my job number was, what my address was, etc... He then told me according to my inventory list we didn't have that much stuff as we are claiming we had and i said i know i was very upset by how blank the list was. He told me He would look for the stuff in his storage area/ warehouse and then call me back. I told him i was also interested in getting a refund and he told me he wouldn't do that until they looked for the stuff first. He also told me he promised he would call and he has not called. This company has ripped me off for over $1800 worth of stuff and i am extremely mad that they are getting away with this.
There needs to be something done ab0ut this company and fast. I have learned that their Destination movers name is going out of business come December 31st 2008 which leaves those of us who have been scammed by them under that name screwed. I'm missing over $1800 worth of belongings since My boyfriend and i hired them on may 29th 2008 we asked them to start shipping September 29th 2008 and didn't receive anything until October 23rd 2008 and again missing over half of my belongings. They loured us in with a supposed "binding estimate" of $1000.03 which they bumped up to $1500.00 and claimed it was because we didn't pay them for monthly storage. How were we suppose to know we were suppose to send them monthly payments of $100 or there would be late fees. We figured they charged us $200 just in late fees. 4 months in storage 1 month of that was free we should have only paid them $1300.00. Just like the person who posted this I had the same situation. My situation was I was being evicted and had to move out in the two day period the apartments allowed and wasn't able to research the company until I got to my final destination.
These are the missing items:
These fallowing four items were in one box and every box i had was labeled with my shipping address on it.
-Dell Desktop computer(including mouse, keyboard, tower, monitor, speakers) - This item is important because it has a lot of vital information on it not to mention it has personal pictures of me and my family on it.
-13in TV- was given to me when I was 10 years old by my dad for Xmas.
-Comcast cable box- now we owe comcast $400 to replace the box.
- Cordless telephone.
-----------------------------------------other items include---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Single four drawer wood dresser- cost me $120 and i bought it only a month before we moved.
-Plastic Xmas tree
-Electric four cup coffee maker
-Electric can opener
- Floor lamp
-small laundry basket
-Kitchen trash can
-love seat
-Twin mattress and box spring.
-1 circular lounge chair( the other I did receive was damaged to the point it cant be fixed.
-Sheets used as cushion to the box with computer etc..
-Electric Foreman grill.
- box full of my good dishes.
- box full of books
Our queen mattress we had received was torn up at the edges and was covered in dust and leaves. The box spring to it doesn't act as sturdy as it did when we bought it 4 months before we moved.
I'm just so angry to think these people have gotten away with this and my trust in any moving company have completely went out the window. I think i am more ashamed of myself because i had that bad gut feeling about this company from the moment i hired them and being limited in time i wasn't allowed to act out on my feeling.
Please contact me at [protected] or sugerbear2007@yahoo.com because i have more information for you.
Thank you,
Andrea Carlson.
I totally understand and they did this to so many people under the Destination movers name as well. I'm so sorry and good luck to you. Please contact me asap. sugerbear2007@yahoo.com

First mistake you all made was you ordered online. They offer it in stores people, you just have to use your noggin to find it. (try Walgreen's/Walmart) I personally have never used this product but it looks awesome and i would love to own one to try it myself. You are the ones who made the mistake of ordering crap online because you were probably too lazy to get up and look for it at a store and if you had done that you would have your magic bullet and wouldn't have to bother writing on here.
I totally agree with this statement i see this happen all the time and that makes me upset. I heard of the person you are talking about from another pogo player. It just seems funny because if this person really did win a jackpot you know it would be all over the news. I think they do this just for the fact they want you to keep thinking you can win the jackpot or the other prizes they offer. It's sick and pogo needs to stop. BTW does anyone notice that no one can ever get a hold of anyone from pogo?
You know this happens often enough to me as well. I would just say it's glitches and what not but it happens way to often.
That's great and all but we only wish that you guys would play nicely and fair and we don't want to talk to electronic arts we want to talk to someone from your company the pogo company! to the original poster don't worry the members will be warned..
