Something is off with this complaint. Even if you had gotten sick from a meal at this restaurant, it would not still be lasting 2 weeks on and you would have sought medical attention. You mention a competitor right down the street. By chance, did this new place open in 2019? Hmmmm, yes something is off. Why do I get the feeling you are the competitor?
You should have filed a police report.
All Speedway stores have many, many cameras that record every action. Having said that, I find it hard to believe you are an actual paralegal. If you truly were, you would know not to discuss legal situations on 3rd party public websites.

I've no sympathy for Karens who wait till the last minute on Christmas Eve to try to order food. And I also do no believe your story about food poisoning. Nice try.

The customer is always right? LOL! NO ONE is always right! People who use the expression the customer is always right generally are trying to pull something. You should have asked for a manager to clarify pricing.
That is terrible and there is no excuse for such ignorance. I hope you were able to seek legal recourse and that your son has moved on to bigger and better things.
Which location is this? I am curious and want to hear what it sounds like.
I would have pressed charges.

This brand is low quality and I am shocked people like it. You can go to the deli section of your grocer and buy a container of cold fried chicken for way less than $12.99 and it is of much higher quality.
I had this same experience but in reverse. Orders from White customers were ignored but Black people received prompt service. I didn't complain, I just never went back.
Time for a Labor Board complaint! Everyone is hiring, you don't have to put up with Applebees nonsense.

Why are you wasting money on this site? Do you not remember it being in the news a few years ago this site was hacked and the personal details of all members was posted. The hack destroyed marriages. It also proved that 99% of accounts on this site ARE MEN!
It was international news a few years back that 99% of the accounts on this AM site are men.

The Cheesecake Factory menu contains over 250 entrees. No reasonable person would expect someone to have memorized a menu that vast! Additionally, it clearly tells you on the menu that the Steak Diane is medallions of steak covered with black peppercorns with a rich mushroom wine sauce. Served with mashed potatoes and grilled onions. Surely when you READ, that was enough information to answer your question! You state " we still provided a tip ". Well, why wouldn't you? Your only complaint about service was that the server hadn't memorized an over 250 item menu and couldn't tell you off the top of his head what the Steak Diane was, again with the answer right there in front of you on the menu. I do hope you realize the waitstaff does not prepare the food and no reasonable person would blame them for food not prepared to satisfaction. P.S. You seem to disapprove of waiting 30 minutes for a table for this newly opened location. When my local Cheesecake Factory opened, the wait time was sometimes 4 hours. It's been around now for over 10 years and the wait still can be up to 2 hours. I'd say you were lucky to have only had to wait 30 minutes. A 30 minute wait for food is quite reasonable unless you were hoping to receive food already pre-cooked and simply heated up.

Stop being ridiculous! First off, Cheesecake Factory did not decide on the vaccine card rule. You can thank your NYC govt. for that. Second, are you not aware the majority of people clogging up hospitals with Covid are non-vaccinated?! Third, your comparison between a vaccination card and being black is absolutely absurd and quite a stretch. You are being overly dramatic. If you contract Covid, please stay home and don't overburden the medical care system since you willfully made the decision to not get vaccinated.

I realize it's tempting to save a few bucks by using a 3rd party booking system, but to avoid these type situations, you should always book directly with the hotel brand.
