I bought a used 2020 car with just one key from a dealership
I bought a used 2020 car from a dealership and it came with just one key. I requested an additional key fob, but was informed I'd need to acquire it myself. I purchased a compatible key fob online for $98 and contacted Premier Subaru for programming. They initially agreed, but upon arrival, Shannon W informed me they couldn't do it as the fob wasn't dealership-bought. Despite my prior call, I was directed to seek an independent locksmith due to their policy.

I bought a Subaru with 16,000 miles from this dealer on 2/10/2022. Driving it home from *** to *** was fine. But the next day, it wouldn't start. I had to tow it to a local Subaru dealer, but they didn't have a loaner car for me. So I had to rent one with my own money. When I told the dealer about the problem, they said it wasn't their fault and I had to bring it back to *** (which is a 4-hour drive and I need to go through *** for work). The dealer put in a refurbished, unbranded battery and didn't connect the starting wire properly. They replaced the starting module on January 31, 2022, but didn't tell me when I bought the car. They also didn't top off any of the fluids. I had to replace the battery myself, and the *** dealer wouldn't pay for it or the rental car. When I got the car back, it failed again - all the dashboard lights came on, the odometer didn't work, and the ABS system was off. The CT dealer said they couldn't do anything. I asked if I could trade it for the *** I sold them, but they said I'd lose money and didn't offer to help. They also wouldn't pay for the tow to . It's been almost 2 months, and I still can't drive the car. This dealer is dishonest and I want compensation for my expenses and time.
