Premier Home Pros review: Bathroom upgrade, job not started due to change of living conditions status

My wife and I decided to investigate a bathroom upgrade, to make it safer for my handicapped wife. We chose to get a quote from Premier Home Pros. A sales Rep, came to our home, inspected the project, and gave his recommendations. Under pressure, due to the recent death of our Son, we told him we had an appointment for grief counseling. He insisted on returning afterwards, approximately 4 hours later. We agreed to that and are sorry we did. Under duress from the sales rep and our unimaginable grief, we signed the contract put in front of us, not fully understood, and have since decided to rescind the contract.
My wife suffered a fall in our kitchen several days ago.
We have since decided to explore an Independent Living arrangement.
The funds for the project were however, advanced to Premier Home Pros. Although all work has not even begun, my suddenly not-so-friendly sales rep informed me that we were responsible for 30% of the cost of the materials and the $500.00 deposit we gave him. We are seniors, under unimaginable duress, and feel we were simply played.
I am a Veteran who served our country; we should be protected from financial Predators.

Desired outcome: Release of all obligations under the contract and return of the $500.00 deposit. The finance Company released funds for the project, to Premier Home Pros; however, work has not begun, nor will it begin.
