We signed a contract on February 27, 2026, for a simple shower replacement, not a full bathroom remodel. We were told this project would take approximately four weeks to complete. During the sales process, we were also pressured to leave a positive review immediately after signing and were told the salesperson would not get paid unless we submitted one, even though no work had been performed.
The first installation took place on March 16, 2026, and communication became almost nonexistent afterward. Despite repeated calls and emails, we were continually passed from one representative to another without answers. We have effectively been without a functional shower since March.
After months of delays, a second installation was completed on May 12, but it was done incorrectly. The glass was improperly installed, the shower door hit the toilet, and the shower leaked, resulting in water damage and mold beneath our new flooring. Multiple repair appointments were scheduled, but technicians frequently failed to show up.
We were threatened with a lien after stopping payment due to the lack of progress. When we expressed frustration over the repeated delays and no-shows, an employee called and yelled at us rather than addressing the issues.
In August, the company partially tore out and rebuilt the shower, only to discover the replacement glass had been measured incorrectly and needed to be reordered. We later learned that no replacement glass had been ordered as of August 25. To make matters worse, the company then asked us to take measurements ourselves instead of sending a qualified representative to do so.
The company has had our payment since March, yet the shower remains incomplete. What was sold to us as a four-week project has now dragged on for more than five months. We have endured defective workmanship, water damage, mold, missed appointments, broken promises, poor communication, and disrespectful treatment throughout the entire process.
As of today, this project remains unresolved. More than five months after the original installation, we still do not have the completed, functional shower we paid for. This experience has been exhausting, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.
Desired outcome: project completion and compensation
