The Treadmill stopped functioning on 3rd April 3019 ( within 6 months of purchase )
My wife ( 65 KG ) was walking on it when she noticed that none of the buttons ( physical/touchscreen ) were responding.
She had to manually remove the magnet (Treadmill Safety Key) to stop it.
Since then the treadmill is not functioning at all - it powers up fine and display comes ON but the switches/buttons are not working _ Hence unable to start the motor.

I contacted the Seller with the issue and was asked to send a video demo of the same.
I sent the same on 5th April.
In the interim, I had also reached out directly to PowerMax who then diverted me to the seller.

The seller ( (Nitya Fitness Hub || Mr. Sharma || +91 74878 71105 ) contacted me the next day and to my shock rejected the warranty claim and denied an onsite engineer dispatch.
The 'REASON' : from the short video demo I had sent he had asserted that the treadmill motor had been damaged and that too because a person who was beyond the supported Maximum user weight capacity ( 130 KG ) was using it !

How he inferred to such preposterous conclusions is beyond any logic and can only be attributed to his poor ethics to cheat a customer off his entitled warranty.

I'll be honest here; I weigh 120 Kgs, my brother 90 kgs and my wife 65 kgs - We are the one's using the treadmill.
I am very aware of the Maximum user weight capacity of 130 kg and understood that I should only walk AND not run on the machine - AND WE NEVER RAN ON THE MACHINE
This was after my personal research and after contacting Power Max prior to the the purchase.

Maximum User Weight Capacity
Maximum user weight capacity is of 130 kg. But Powermax recommend having extra 25Kg buffer for running. For example if your weight is 105 Kg or less then it would be better to buy treadmill with max user weight capacity of 130Kg

During my further interactions with the seller, it became obvious he was aware of my weight and rather in-humanly decided to leverage it to abstain from providing service.

I feel dejected and indignant as a consumer and as a human.
I would have understood, if a technician was sent to my premises to inspect the claim and then process/reject based on his assessment; but to outright reject a claim based on a video and prejudices is plain offensive.

I am willing to pursue this Legally on a consumer court based on the outcome of actions from Amazon

Here are my request(s) to Amazon :

1. Mediate between myself and the Seller to provide service to the product for which I am eligible ( ONSITE ENGINEER TO BE SENT TO FIX THE PRODUCT )
2. Ensure proper actions against such seller behaviors where legit warranty claims are discarded based on un-verified accusations.
3. Finally, facilitate with proper escalation channels to report this higher up with Amazon.
