Porsche Reunite

I am requesting that Porsche initiate the process of " reunification" with my Porsche Macan 2020. On Wed 12.8.21 car was brought by flatbed to Porsche North Scottsdale, AZ due to engine warning light. This authorized dealer is 2 hours away from my home . It requires travel on Route 17 which is a dangerous mountain road especially in the Winter. North Scottsdale has summer weather all year. Prescott has 4 seasons . Last year, we were hit with 22 inches of snow. On Friday 12.10.21 I was advised that the car is ready but Porsche will not send the car back to my home via flatbed. Their rational is that I was not involved in an accident and the warning light was not red! . I do not have anyone who can drive me to pick up my car especially during this winter season I am over age 65 and lost my spouse. My car still has summer tires . We purchased several cars from this dealer and I cannot believe the poor and insensitive customer service. I am respectfully requesting that Porsche Headquarters authorize a reunite so that my car can be safely returned to me,

Desired outcome: Authorize a reunite

Porsche Shared a Confidential information's without our permission to the third party at Ahmedabad.

Dear Sir / Madam,
At the outset, we would like to introduce ourselves, We GSEC Limited and we possess a good reputation in the market as well we have many other group companies. We have purchased a number of cars from Porsche and recently bought a Porsche - Panamera.
Initially, we wrote about our grievances to your UK and US Office but they couldn't resolve our issues and told us to approach you (Germany Porsche) which you may find from the trailing mail. In fact, the objective of writing this mail is to lodge a complaint against your dealer M/s. Kataria Cars Pvt. Ltd., 1st Floor, Kataria Arcade, Near Adani School, Makarba, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India because all the confidential information about our Porsche Cayene Car No.GJ-01-RP - 2727 have been shared without our information by some of the staff members by name Mr. Deepak Sharma and Ms. Palak to so-called dealers to the third party.

Our organization believes in high ethical values in all respects and expects the same from all our agents or business partners. It is very surprising to note how they could have done such an irresponsible act.
Indeed this is not good business ethics being licked our information without our permission and such misdeed would be a secret threat for us. As such no professional car dealers disclose any such confidential information about their clients to any third parties.
In nutshell, the matter is a completely dishonorable and an extremely harmful trend for our company. However, due to bad experiences with you, it kept us thinking about whether our group should continue dealing with your brand or not.
In view of the above, we hereby solemnly condemn the work ethics of your said dealer and as result, it has not only harmful to our reputation in the market but also monetary losses as well. With this mail, you are hereby requested to take punitive actions against culprits and they're superior for the unlawful acts under intimation to us.
Hoping for your favorable response and simultaneously also let us know how you would compensate us for such monetary losses and HNI
Reputation as well.

Porsche Lack of dealer assistance

I am very disappointed in Main Line Porsche and do not believe, in my opinion, they deserve the designation of "Premier Dealer, " as their customer service was terrible. In order to be succinct, I have included the time line of events as they occurred from the origination of the sales transaction up to yesterday when I finally found the location of the title and registration. The effect it has had on me is to ensure I will never purchase an out-of-state Porsche vehicle (have previously done so in 4 separate States with absolutely no issues) again without holding a reasonable amount in escrow until the transaction is complete. Please see below. I apologize for the length, but as a retired military officer, I have learned to keep good records.

08/24/2021 Deal made, deposit ($5, 000) on Credit Card to Allison
Mooney

08/25/2021 Wire sent and received ($49, 225.13) by Main Line Porsche

08/26/2021 Final paperwork signed and scanned to Main Line Porsche

09/07/2021 Car delivered, but would not start.

09/07/2021 Car inspected in TX and original FedEx'd to Allison Mooney

09/08/2021 Fedex received by Mainline, but sat on Allison Mooney's
desk until she returned from vacation. No follow up, no
action on the paperwork
.
09/08/2021 Allison wrote and said paperwork was submitted and
would take 4-5 weeks.

09/08/2021 Curt VanBuskirk picked up my trade-in to take back to Main
Line Porsche. During the pick-up, told him of the complete
embarrassment caused by the car not starting when
delivered. He asked if anyone had called to
apologize/check on the car after delivered. I said no and he
even asked if Christian Scott had called me. Again, no.

09/09/2021 After Curt called Christian to explain the situation, Christian
called and apologized for the terrible delivery experience.

09/21/2021 Finally heard from Christian regarding my title and
registration and he indicated that it had stayed at the
dealership until Allison's return, but that they were
expediting it to AFC (?) in CO.

10/15/2021 I checked back with Allison regarding the status of my title
and registration. I also informed Allison that I had less than
14 days remaining on the paper tag.

10/15/2021 Heard from Christian that your title clerk left early that day,
but would expedite it on Monday. Believe he meant
Tuesday.

10/25/2021 Received letter extending my paper plate until 11/30/2021.

10/26/2021 Christian informed me that your title clerk had not heard
back from ATC about my title/registration. (Could she not
have called them?)

11/05/2021 Sent Christian another note regarding the status of the
title/registration.

11/05/2021 Christian responded that the delay of 49 days from when you
received at Main Line Porsche until the current day was due
to Main Line's not receiving the title back from the bank due
to a payoff issue(?).

11/08/2021 Christian responded clarifying my having a clear title.

11/08/2021 I personally called the Texas DMV to trace my title and was
told that there was no record of my title/registration in the
State of Texas. He did go on the national database and found
the car with a PA title, but again, nothing in Texas.

11/08/2021 I both emailed Christian and called him regarding the
significance of the problem.

11/08/2021 Christian called indicating paperwork had been sent to
Denton County TX (my county)

11/08/2021 I had to call Denton County Tax office to see if they could put
a trace on my paperwork. They did and found the paperwork
for both the title and registration, something Main Line
Porsche could/should have done without involving the
customer.

Desired outcome: Rethink your criteria for the designation "Premier Dealer." Just have a very bad feeling about this transaction.

Porsche Prepaid maintenance plan

I am frustrated and disappointed with Porsche. To summarize, I bought a brand new Porsche from your dealership and in addition, paid for a prepaid maintenance plan for 10, 000, 20, 000, and 30, 0000 mile service. At that time, the first service was not included in purchase, I know that has since changed. I paid $1963 for this plan and have 21, 625 miles on my car so technically would not even be due. Due to the worldwide global pandemic we have and are still in for almost 20 months I was unable to have my car service last year and barely drive it. I scheduled to have this service performed next Thursday at park place and was called back yesterday stating Porsche was declining to fulfill the contract and I would have to pay again for the service. I was then advised to call Porsche which I did, and was on the phone with them for 1 hour and 36 mins while they called dealership, submitted a case, etc. The below are the results of my case which was determined about less than 3 hours after wrapping up my call. Disappointed, anger and frustrated do not even begin to describe my experience for Porsche. Any help or assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Desired outcome: Perform the service I paid for.

Porsche Roadside Assistance in Charlotte, NC

Horrible experience. Will never use Porsche roadside assistance again. original wait time was suppose to be 90 minutes, then when I never heard from them I called and was told that the tow truck broke down and I would have to wait for the other tow truck which was on another tow call. Here I still sit starving and having to use the restroom badly and it has been four f***ng hours. I have called Porsche headquarters several times with no help. I will never use them again. There is no urgency on their part. They don't care how long you have to sit on the side of the highway in danger. I own four Porsches and will never, ever use them again. I will never give them a good review should anyone else ever ask me about their roadside assistance program. They hire the cheapest subcontractors to tow your car because they are giving you this service for free they say.

Porsche Porsche PDK transmission installation

December - January 2020-21. The Chandler Arizona dealership is filled with thunderous blunders one after the other. I told the service manager, I have had 2 PDK service performed in the last week on the car. Problem is PDK leak. I do not want a PDK service. I asked them to verify PDK leak at top of gearbox and what the remedy was. Blunder 1, they performed a PDK service. Told me the leak was from the plastic PDK fluid pan. I questioned that logic. They added blunder 2, stating the plastic pans warp over time. I explained, I just paid 300 dollars for a new pan with a PDK service performed last week. Blunder 3, they guaranteed this was the problem as they used a blue die to trace the leak. Blunder 4, I picked up the car after service manager guaranteed the gearbox was completely repaired. In their parking lot I looked under the car and saw fresh oil on the cross member. Tech said, that's residue. Tech must of missed cleaning that. Drove it home, PDK leaked on garage floor. Dealership fetched the car.
After 4 weeks January 2021, Gear box was replaced, with a 2 year guarantee.
July 29th, 2021, I decided to have headers put on the car by an independent shop. Car has not been on a lift since Porsche Chandler replaced PDK. Bolt on cross-member was lose and jammed. Chandler Porsche was the last to wrench on the car. July 29th, I contact General Manager. Dealership had car towed to their shop for inspection. Said, it was not something they would have done. They never inspected anything else. Returned the car to my independent shop on July 30th mid afternoon. My independent shop removed the undercover to perform a full inspection on all the bolts since the dealership refused too. 2 top transmission bolts were missing. One bold was found laying next to the gearbox. Late afternoon, I immediately asked the GM to come over and inspect this problem. He refused! I asked if he inspected the gearbox bolts. He did not. The jammed cross member bolt goes into a sub frame unit that has to be replaced. The General Manger refuses to do repairs. I explained this is a major liability created by your blundering techs. We found this major blunder by accident. The gearbox could have dropped out in traffic around Tractor Trailers on the highway. I have more photos of bolts missing. The General Manger (Joe Akers) refuses to perform repairs.
You can contact me at [protected]@cox.net

Desired outcome: Pay for the repairs. I don't trust their workmenship.

Porsche Porsche cayenne s - case id : 5429008

Dear Porsche ME,
I am appalled by the treatment I got from your customer Service centre from both your Middle East regional branch and the local branch in Beirut. More than 3 weeks has passed and no one even gave me a courtesy call to say that they are still working on the case regarding the Broken Camshaft of my Porsche Cayenne S - Dated 28 June, 2021 - Case ID : 5429008.

Porsche, one of the most professional and reputable car manufacturer in the world treats one of its loyal customers with negligence, carelessness and above all disrespect. I nearly missed a fatal accident and it has been 3 weeks without my car. I suppose I deserve a better treatment from your esteemed company. In all cases, I would hate to escalate it further so appreciate your urgent feedback by this week.
Best Regards,

Porsche Porsche Livermore terrible service

They do not return your call. You hear the front desk chatting and joking and not attending to customers. Gave the wrong car after service. Given the cost of the car, one would expect atleast a car wash, nothing was done, instead the car was returned in a state where it was dirty (the car was fairly clean when it was given for service). Absolutely rotten service for what a porsche costs. I have had better service at a toyota.

Porsche I am complaining about not receiving a recall about the camshaft in my cayenne s 2011

I am a proud owner of a Cayenne S model 2011 bought in 2016 directly from the exclusive Porsche dealer in Beirut - Lebanon. 3 days ago, my car broke down in the middle of the highway where I nearly avoided a horrific accident and if it wasn't for a divine intervention, the outcome would have been disastrous. After investigating the reason behind the engine stall, I was surprised to know that the Cayenne S 2011 and other Porsche cars had a faulty part called the camshaft that the dealer in Beirut knew about, that the mother company sent several emails in this regard and that they should have notified all Cayenne S 2011 owners to change the faulty part. Instead, and due to their negligence and failing to do their job, I was left with a near-death experience knowing the time when the mother company sent those mails my car was still under warranty and still no one bothered to send me a recall, note that after I placed my car on scanner it showed that camshaft was broken/lose which caused severe damage to the engine.
When I called the customer care in Beirut, they promised to call back and to my surprise they didn't. I called again next day and they said there is nothing they can do. They even denied the fact that the Cayenne S 2011 had a faulty part. What kind of service center is this? I thought being a loyal customer to Porsche (not only with cars as most of my clothes and all my watches are from the Porsche Design shops) would lead to a professional handling of such matters. Porsche is well known for its supremacy, professionalism, efficiency and competence. None of those standards where applicable in my case. The Beirut service center showed negligence, incompetency and carelessness. If I wanted that kind of treatment, I would have opted to buy a Chinese car where at least I know what to expect. I highly appreciate looking into the above case, giving the right instructions (again) to change all faulty parts and all the subsequent damages.
Looking forward for your reply.
Regards,
Architect Bachir Abi Fadel

Porsche Taycan Turbo

I bought a Porsche Taycan Turbo on May 30, 2020. I have had problems since the first day. It's at the Porsche dealer now because the GPS, Phone, Direct Charging, EMail and remote Climate do not work. I have had it there several times and they tell me its because I have an Android phone. They prefer Apple. Porsche did not tell me when I bought the car that it might not work right because of the phone I carry. I paid $180K for a car that has multiple problems that the manufacturer can not seem to fix. I have spoken to Porsche several times and they do not seem to have a solution.
In my opinion they should not be able to sell a car that they know will not work right with 50% of the phones on the market.
I have owned about 10-12 Porsches, this is the only one I have been unsatisfied with.

Desired outcome: Fixed or refund

Porsche Damage to vehicle while in for warranty repair

Hope all is well. I recently had my vehicle serviced at Paul Miller Porsche in Parsippany, NJ, whereby the vehicle was in for service for over 3 weeks (8/27 through 9/19). Upon picking up the vehicle on Saturday, 9/19, I noticed that there was paint irregularities on the driver side door once I arrived home. Once inspecting further, I observed paint irregularities throughout the driver side door (e.g., fish eyes, orange peel, chipping, bubbling, overspray), as well as overspray on the drivers side front/rear quarter panel, as well as the hood of the vehicle, indicative of recent body repair. The vehicle was clearly repaired/repainted while in the possession of the dealership, with terrible results. I immediately contacted the service advisor assigned to me that day to notify her of my findings, including images of the paint imperfections. The next day, I went to a local auto body shop and reviewed the damage, whereby I took pictures/videos of the shop managers assessment, clearly indicating poorly applied fresh paint, which I shared with my service advisor at the dealership. I received a call on 9/21/20, whereby the service advisor insisted she was unaware of any damage/repairs, and was adamant about notifying me if any damages/repairs occurred while in the dealerships possession. I purchased the vehicle in April, and have had it serviced on a few occasions with this dealership during my ownership. Ultimately, the vehicle did not arrive at the dealership with those imperfections, as I'm very meticulous with the vehicle since purchasing, in fact hand washing it regularly myself. The car also had a ceramic coat finish applied prior to purchase, whereby imperfections clearly stand out. My biggest concern is that something clearly happened while in the possession of the dealership for 3.5 weeks, yet nothing was brought to my attention, nor is anyone accepting responsibility for the damage/botched repair. I know have a vehicle with a completely botched paint job that needs to be redone, including the overspray on several surfaces throughout the vehicle and compromised ceramic coating. The diminished value due to these repairs is clearly another concern/issue that needs to be addressed. The service manager notified me that the general manager of the dealership would be contacting me to discuss/review the incident after I visited/reviewed the damage with him on 9/28/20, whereby he also denied any wrongdoing and sent me off insisting "I do what I have to do". Images of the vehicle were not taken when I initially dropped off, and I'm asking that the dealership review video footage to determine if damage was caused on their premises, or off premises while being driven by staff during diagnostic testing. If the responsibility is not taken on the part of the dealership for this damage/botched repair, I'll be seeking legal action to address this incident properly, as well as voice additional complaints with the state attorney general and FTC. If you would like photos of the aforementioned issues, please reach out to discuss, as my insurance company will also be reaching out to the dealership for additional information. I'm hoping this matter can be resolved in a satisfactory/timely manner, as all other interactions with this dealership have been extremely pleasant prior to this incident. Thanks in advance for your time.

Porsche Service and unauthorized oil change

Hi,
My name is Tom Bertelli and own a 2015 Porsche Macan S for which I bought an extended warranty.
I recently took my car in at Porsche Centre Downtown Toronto (68 Parliament Street) for a recall and have them look at the AC system because it stopped blowing cold air.
Upon picking up the car, I was informed that they were not able to find the leak but was still charged for the inspection. They placed a small amount of freon with a dye in the system to see if that would show where the problem is. A few weeks passed by and the AC stopped working again; upon calling the dealership, they told me that they will charge me an additional $200 to again, have a look at it.
I think it is unfair that I keep on paying for a service for which they seem unable to find the cause.
Also, when I first took in the car for the recall, I was charged for an oil change I didn't ask for nor that I authorized. Upon complaining with the Manager, the charge was removed.

Porsche service

+[protected]

Mit Freundlichen Grüssen

Porsche porsche “cayenne s” 2020 model

I trust you are well.

I ordered PORSHE "Cayenne S" 2020 model from your dealer in Saudi Arabia SAMACO Automotive (Khobar branch) on last April with purchase number PKXCMIE8
After waiting more than seven months which I was very excited and count days, the car arrived.
when I went to receive it, I found a damage in back side of the car.
When I ask them to reevaluate my car after the damage they delay me more than 2 months to check with management and with pad treatment and manner.

They destroy my joy and passion to gain PORSHE experience.

I would like to share my complaint so that it would not be repeated with another customer

Porsche car repair [protected] model

My new 992 has been in repair now at Porsche Johannesburg, South Africa, for over a month . Porsche apparently cannot supply some parts for the shock system and as it's a new car Porsche apparently do not have a part number - or something to this effect . No one can give me answers as to when I will receive my car and Porsche's communication takes 2/3 days per e mail . The car is sold on false pretenses as I would never have purchased this vehicle should I have known they do but have parts for it !

Porsche purchase contract

I posted following complaint a month ago and I have not got any reply from you.

Dear Simon Kuhnimhof, Vice President Customer Experience
or To an Executive Officer who is in charge of Customer Satisfaction,

My name is Jieun Park. I visited the downtown LA Porsche dealer on August 28, 2019 and decided to purchase a Cayenne e-hybrid and pay in full. The only thing I asked the dealership was to do me one favor. I would issue two checks upfront, check # 101 of $30, 000 and a check #102 of $65, 861.93 respectively, and I asked them to deposit the second check on September 6, 2019 because I had a long vacation trip a few days later and needed time to transfer from my saving accounts to my checking account. And they agreed to my request.
They wrote down this agreement on their documents and even their general manager sign his initials on the document as indicated in the attached picture. However they deposited both checks right away and both checks were withdrawn from my checking account on August 30, 2019. I was totally embarrassed and had to redo my financial arrangement.
I don't know whether it was inadvertent or an intentional malicious action. The most important thing is that the dealer breached our mutually agreed contract. Porsche is one of the most prestigious car manufacturers with highest standard in the world and I believed Porsche dealers should also be held to the same prestigious standards and disciplines. I was very disappointed and felt that I would never purchase a Porsche even though I haven't driven my new car yet.
I believed this incident was a serious breach of contract. If my bank balance were too low for the second check to be cleared, I would have been forced to pay the price like the overdraft fee. But what kind of penalty did the dealer incur? I was liable for all the mistakes that were made by the Porsche dealer and no responsibility was taken by Porsche. They just gave me a typical apology about this and said that they didn't know how this happened and who deposited the check. I don't they realize how serious this breach of contract is. Because your company and your dealers are selling very expensive and prestigious cars and you should have really high customer satisfaction and be held to the highest standards.
This is a critical legal matter and a complaint from a customer. I wish you investigate this matter and take the appropriate corresponding actions. You must show me and other customers that you take pride in your high standards in customer care by taking the necessary internal management disciplinary action. It was the most distasteful car buying experience I have ever had and I do not wish this upon other future customers.
I appreciate your reading my letter.

Sincerely,

Jieun Park

Porsche lack of response

Our Porsche has been at a dealership for nearly 2 weeks due to a malfunction. The dealership was unable to find the cause, so they contacted P-tech, which apparently Porsche company experts. P-tech has not responded at all. So our car sits waiting whatever. meanwhile, we are paying our monthly lease payment. This is outrageous!
The dealership is doing everything they can to fix the problem, but Porsche corporation does nothing. Really terrible service by Porsche.
