I love my Plunge cold plunge, but my experience with their sauna has been very disappointing. The product quality is poor, and they do not stand behind their warranty. After just over a year of ownership, the electrical box failed with a loud pop, leaving the heater completely nonfunctional.
When I contacted customer service, they put me through countless troubleshooting steps only to ultimately deny coverage under warranty. The root cause was a basic manufacturing oversight—the electrical box was never sealed, which allowed water and insects to enter and damage the system. This problem could have easily been prevented with a small amount of sealant during production.
This company refuses to take responsibility for obvious manufacturing flaws. Sealing electrical systems is a basic requirement for any product designed for outdoor use, yet they failed to do so. Instead of standing behind their product, they placed the blame on me—the customer. That alone says everything about the integrity of this company.
Now I’m stuck paying over $1,000 out of pocket to get it working again, doing all the repairs myself. Rest assured, I’ll be sealing the electrical box properly this time—something the manufacturer should have done from the start. Customers deserve better.
Recommendation: Because of this experience, I will not be purchasing from Plunge again.
