I chose Planet DISH as my provider because they promised a $100 gift card. However, I haven't received it yet. It seems like they lured me in with this offer and then didn't follow through. I'm starting to think it was a bait and switch tactic. In contrast, when I had Xfinity as my provider, they always delivered on their promises. If they said they would give me an award, they did it without any hassle. When my contract with Planet DISH expires, I'll definitely be switching back to Xfinity. I've been waiting for my system to be installed for the past two days. I thought I was getting a great deal with a bundle that included Dish TV and Frontier internet, just like they advertised. But it seems like neither Dish nor Frontier has any clue about it. Now it looks like I'm the one who's gonna lose out on this deal because Frontier won't give me the discount they promised. I'm really disappointed!

I thought I was talkin to DISH, not Planet dish. I would never have placed an order if I knew you guys make a website just like the Dish one and scam folks. I had to pay $40 for your sneaky scam and I ain't happy about it. I'm gonna let everyone know, both the public and my peeps, 'bout how you scam people tryin' to get a cut from a legit company. You're just plain awful.

So, consider yourself warned, folks. Don't fall for Planet dish's trickery. Stick with the real deal, DISH, and avoid these scammers like the plague. Trust me, you'll be better off.

Well, I fell for it. I agreed to sign up and even gave them my credit card info. But boy, was I in for a surprise. As soon as I did that, the price they quoted me nearly doubled! Can you believe it? I was shocked.

Naturally, I told the rep that I didn't want their services anymore. I mean, who would want to pay double the price, right? But you know what she said? She had the audacity to tell me that I had already been charged! Can you believe the nerve?

And get this, she told me that if I wanted the charge removed, I had to stay on the phone with customer service for a whopping 30 minutes to 2 hours! Can you imagine wasting that much time just to fix their mistake? It's ridiculous!

I used to think that TWC (Spectrum) was the worst, but now I gotta say, Dish has taken the cake. They've definitely earned the title of being the sorriest company I've ever dealt with.

I decided to cancel my services with Planet DISH after just 3 days because of the lousy signal. DISH told me that it was Planet DISH's responsibility to refund the initial fee of $49.99 that I paid them. They advised me to call Planet DISH directly and inform them about the deinstallation of the services, so they could process the refund. So, I did exactly that, but to my dismay, I ended up being transferred from one person to another in their so-called "customer service" department. It was frustrating because no one seemed to be available to assist me.

Feeling helpless, I had no choice but to take matters into my own hands. I contacted my bank and initiated a dispute for the transaction in order to get my money back. It's truly disappointing to encounter such dishonest practices from Planet DISH. They are nothing but scam artists, taking advantage of unsuspecting customers like myself.

I expected better customer service and a smoother refund process, but unfortunately, that was not the case. It's a shame that I had to go through all this trouble just to get my hard-earned money back. I would strongly advise others to think twice before considering Planet DISH for their services.

The installation of the TV service was done with great care and professionalism. They kept their promise of installing it on time and were patient in answering my questions. However, I had some issues with the internet installation. The telephone salesperson and the internet advertisement made promises of next-day service, but in reality, it took a whole week for the installation to happen. Another misleading claim was about the "6 recordings on hopper." It turned out that there are actually only three recording devices available. To make matters worse, you can only record more programs if you record all the current local stations for 8 days. In that case, you will have two recordings left, but only one if you're watching something else. This information was not clearly communicated, and it felt like they were trying to deceive customers.

I would advise Planet DISH to be more cautious and honest in their promises and advertisements. Overpromising and misleading customers can lead to dissatisfaction and disappointment. It is important to set realistic expectations and deliver on them. Overall, the TV service installation was satisfactory, but the internet installation and the misleading claims left a negative impression.

He came right after the snow let up and we live way back from the road. That didn't stop him. He walked in on foot till my husband came home. Walked back and forth, never complained or said anything. The HughesNet guy wouldn't even try to come back, and it really wasn't an issue for the dish guy. He just worried about getting stuck, but my husband snow blowed for him. The guy even shoveled a little in front of our home by the front door! Thank you to Dish for awesome service and being the first to actually come back to our home where others fear to tread.

I ordered dishtv on May 17, 2018, and they said they would come install it on May 18, 2018. But then I got a call from someone asking if it was okay to reschedule for the next day, May 19, between 8 and 12. Can you believe it? I kept getting texts all day long, saying they had to push back the installation. Finally, I got another call saying they would come on Monday, May 21, between 8 and 12. This morning at 7:40, they called me again to reschedule for 12 to 2. But I couldn't be there at that time, so right now, I still don't have any service. I am so mad! Thank goodness I didn't get internet from them too. I had to pay $49.99 for their so-called "service," and I'm going to complain about them everywhere I can. I really wish I had gone with Direct TV. I will never use Planet DISH again!

I recently switched from Suddenlink to Dish, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I've been a Suddenlink customer for years, and they kept raising my bill without providing the internet speed I was paying for. On top of that, they removed many of the channels my family and I enjoyed. Despite all these issues, my bill kept increasing, and their customer service was always terrible.

But when my husband and I called Dish for the first time, the agent we spoke with was really helpful and had great customer service skills. He helped us find a plan that suited our family's needs and was affordable, with a price guarantee for 2 years. The installation technician was also fantastic, providing excellent customer service and displaying superb professionalism. He connected all our TVs and patiently answered all my questions.

I've also received several helpful and appreciated emails from Dish. They let me know when to expect the installation technician, provided a useful link to frequently asked questions about Dish, and gave instructions on how to operate certain functions. They even asked for customer feedback, which I found really thoughtful.

I've only had Dish for one day, but that's all it took for me to form my opinion. I am extremely satisfied with Dish and wish I had switched sooner. If the exceptional customer service and professionalism they've shown so far is any indication, I'm sure I'll be a Dish customer for many years to come. It feels great to finally be valued as a customer!

So, I recently had a technician from Planet DISH come over to install my TV service. Let me tell you, this guy wasn't really putting in much effort because we didn't have all flat screen TVs. It seemed like he just didn't want to do it. But, I managed to have a chat with him while I was at work, and let me tell you, things changed after that conversation. He finally got the job done, if you know what I mean.

Planet DISH was really helpful and hardworking. I had a bit of trouble getting my second TV to connect to the Joey. It still doesn't work right. It did when they left, but now I have to unplug it every now and then to make it work!

I didn't know I needed internet to fully enjoy all the great features of Dish. When I called, they asked if I had internet and I said no. But now I realize that having internet would cost me an additional $60 per month, which makes Direct Way cheaper than you. I'm really disappointed and when my 2-year contract is up, I'm definitely going back to Direct. I'm also going to let all my friends know about this.
