Pick n Pay Harassment

This afternoon at pick n pay liquor my mother,myself and my uncle were harassed by an employee.The employee touched us against our will and didn’t follow the “social distancing” rule.This event that took place traumatized me and made me feel sick and dirty.I am a 14 year old minor,not even my own father has held me like this predator.My mother was forced to wear a mask and was petrified due to his actions,the same with my uncle.My father was not with us and we all felt indescribably horrified.The name of your employee is Bernard.I have never felt so disgusting and small in my life.

Pick n Pay Non availability of product advertised in store

Went to get this advertised products, no pick n Pay peas available, ask for assistance, said none in stock, when is stock available, I don't know, putrid...

Pick n Pay Online services

I placed a order this morning at 11h30 it's 16h47 I never received my order when I spoke to one of your agents he told me my order will be delivered tomorrow morning and when I asked him how is he gonna compensate me he put me on hold and never talked back to me when I spoke to another agent saying my money will take 10 days to go back in my account when I spoke to the Manager Randall he is telling me I'm not the only customer I didn't call about other customers I called for myself then he asked me what do I want him to do cause their is nothing he can do what kind of a customer service is that

Pick n Pay Wrong airtime received, no assistance granted or refund

I bought airtime a week ago at the Pick n Pay Evaton Golden Highway and I was mistakenly given the wrong network airtime. Went back the following day to take it back and I explained to them what happened and they said the only way for them to help me is for them to re-sell it. The cashier promised to send it last week but didn't, I called in again yesterday to enquire and the manager said that the cashier will get back to me in 10 minutes yesterday but I still have not gotten a call from the cashier nor the manager.

They said they bought the airtime already but they have not sent it to me yet and when I called asking questions the manager says I'm being rude when I express my dissatisfaction with the service because when I ask him questions he does not want to answer. This is the most horrible service I've received from Pick 'n Pay. And I'm still waiting for my airtime.

Right now I've been calling but I don't get an answer, may I be please be assisted as the cashier and manager have failed to do so.

Pick n Pay Service

I am so disappointed in the way pick n pay handled my mom a 60 year old woman, on the 20th of April 2022 around 1pm, She went to The Bridge PNP in Joburg where she was treated like a criminal by a Security guide for doing her shopping, She is not okay she is even afraid to go outside , I just wanted to notify you about this before I take it up.

Please contact me or my mom for an apology as the old woman doesn't even want to see PNP on the TV.

Pick n Pay Illegal mask wearing enforcement post dma

Good day.

Pick n Pay staff at Lakeside store cape town refuse to let me in without a face mask. I explained that the DMA is over and thus there are no more mandates. They claim that it is pick and pay policy.

I had entered two days earlier without a mask and nobody said a word and teller and security were friendly.

This is inconsistent and trying to force people to wear a face mask is unconstitutional and discriminatory.

Kindly advise the official legal policy with legal documents to support. Thank you

Pick n Pay Pnp Asap

I live in durban I placed an order with Pick N Pay ASAP. I placed an order on Wednesday . Today is Saturday and I still have not received my order . The call centre keeps telling me it is on their way. My order number is [protected]. My name is Brittany Yorke. Last Agent that spoke to me is Skye Anders which he has not come back to him . He said he would call me but he never called . I expect the delivery at the latest by 10:00 this morning on Saturday 16 April . I am very irrate customer I find pnp customer service no existence. I will never ever recommend or use pnp again.

Desired outcome: I want my food delivered today at 10:00

We ordered food on Thursday they didn't bring it. Yesterday the driver said he was on his way and when iaksed where he was she blocked me . When I called he doesn't answer . He is a scammmer and steals your products. My order number is 3042232

Good Day, I would just like to say that Pick n Pay Kenilwork Centre, Cape Town, Western Cape bakery customer service is putread to say the least. Came from work straight to the bakery to collect my hot cross buns. Unfortunately with no succes, waiting for an hour and 30mins now. I am really disappointed. Gaynor Adams, Ottery. I really expect this to be resolved please.

Pick n Pay Pineware double spiral hot plate

I bought a double spiral hot plate on 02/09/21.Today 13/04/2022 they refuse to fix for me or exchange,store manger or controller she didn't wear name tag.my heart is painful knowing that they cannot assist while 1 year warrany is still effective.i bought this hot plate in high retail so they can assist me when encountering problems.kindly assist me further. Your respond is highly appreciated.

Pick n Pay Pricing, incorrectly charged

Yesterday I went to Pick 'n Pay, South East boulevard family store in Vanderbijlpark.

Pick 'n Pay is currently running a special on Ricoffy, buy two tins of 750g and get one free tin of 750g free. Thus meaning 3 tins for R 149.98. The current price of the product is R74.99. At the till point the said product rang up as R99.99. When questioning the supervisor she just said the price is R99.99 when buying three to qualify for the promotion. I then phoned customer care, the consultant said the price is R74.99, and that the store has no legg to stand on and should be chargded accordingly. He also mentioned that its the habit of family stores to inflate prices when products go on special an that is unacceptable. In the meantime the manager showed up, but was of no help just said he can't assist as he doesn't have he reading glasses on him, head office must sort it out! Phoned head office but was transferred to customer care again. A reference was given this time [protected]. This morning I phoned the Cape Town head office to speak to the group secretary but was kept on the line for 14 minutes without being assisted.

Desired outcome: Full refund and double the difference as per their policy

Pick n Pay Service - Manager (Witnes) and trolley attendees

Me and my wife we visited Pick and Pay, we had to get my wife's prescription at clicks next door we decided to start at Clicks then pick and pay afterwards, my wife was trying to get a trolley and 2x male staff members trolley attendeds harassed my wife pulling the trolley from her they even broke her nail, I called the manager Witnes to come and assist instead he was laughing with the 2x male staff at us saying we don't listen, we always buy groceries at pick and pay on monthly basis. The treatment was not fair to us (Waterfallmall Rustenburg)

Pick n Pay Crown cooking oil

On Sunday 03 April at about 18:00 I went to Pick N Pay Promenade to buy 18 2L Crown cooking only to find out by the check out customers is limited to 4 per customer. I ask the Cashier to call the manager then she called her supervisor, the supervisor also told me it's 4 per customer then i told her but their is no notification on the shelf about 4 per customer then the supervisor called the Manager on Duty by the name of Bertram when he came to the check out i explain to him that there is nowhere of limited stock the more he insisted that there was a notice on the shelf. I then challenge him to go with me to the shelf and he refuse to go with me and just walk away.

As a customer for over 20+ years I feel I was treated bad especially from a managers point is that how he treat his customers or is it because its Mitchells Plain Area?

Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the Manager that was on Duty on the night of 03 April 2022.

I have written a lengthy complaint elsewhere, bottom line is three items of clothing have shrunk in a cold wash, this is unacceptable. These items came from different stores.

Dear Sir /Madam

I was at pick n pay in Hermanus on 2022-03-30 at about 13H38 to do my shopping as usual when I saw the price of huletts Suger marked down as R41. 99 and when am done paying I went out and I checked my till slip and I noticed that the price of the Suger was not marked down and I went back inside the shop I explained to the cashier about the price that was not marked down and she went to check on the shelf and came back with a price of R 41.99 and told me that the Suger I have don't have a price and I told her that am the one who picked up the item on the price and she shout at me saying you are the one who want a Suger I don't care about the nonsense that says customers are always right when they talking "kak" and I told her to call a supervisor for me if she's not willing to assist me and the supervisor came and I explained about the price and she confirmed that am telling the truth there was a price of R41. 99 under the Huletts Suger and she removed it and the other and she walk away and other supervisor gave me the item with the price I saw on the shelf and I ask to whom may I lay a complaint about the cashier they send me to a manager and I explained about what happened about the price and item and He asked me if it was changed and I told yes it was but am not happy at all about the attitude of the cashier and the manager apologized on her behalf and I went home am not happy at all about the way I was treated at Hermanus pick n pay

Pick n Pay Online pathetic service

Hi I ordered online on Friday night, delivery was supposed to be today 9am to 12pm. At almost 2pm I called in to find out where is my order to be told there is a backlog and it may be today later or tomorrow. He says someone should have called me, well that did not happen. This is crazy and unacceptable. I am furious, I postponed a kids holiday trip until 12.30 as I bought some stuff for them to take, it's now 3pm and it was delivered a few minutes ago, I asked for a manager from online to call me, guess what, still waiting. If you were delayed and had alot of orders, you would know yesterday, not let customers wait and tell them after the time. This is completely unacceptable, now we have to delay the trip for tomorrow and if I was told I would have just bought some stuff yesterday for them... I await your call

Pick n Pay Injured my arm in store

Shopped at Pick and Pay Strubenvale Springs yesterday and some one wanted to pass in the passage and when I stepped backwards I did not see that there was pallets with stock on at the back and lost my balance and hit my left elbow against the shelves trying not fall. My husband did speak to one of the workers but he did not show any interest in assisting us so I just left it but this morning my elbow is blue and swollen up and sore. I just feel Pick and Pay needs to compensate me somehow because on the 26th I have bought goods from them for R5757.50 and yesterday when the incident happened I bought goods for R3144.70 and injured my arm due to the fact that their stock was standing in the passage and the passages are so narrow and would not have injured my elbow if the stock was not standing there.

Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated in some way like a discount on my purchases of nearly R9000. I have my slips and a photo of my elbow.

Pick n Pay Promotional items

On 27/03/2022 I went to the Express Store Maponya. There was a promotion on PnPBraai Briquettes for R60. The cashier outright told me that there is no stock of the lighters and as such charged me the full amount of R65.50. Its not my problem that there is no stock. She should have rather asked that she charge me the R60 without the lighter...

Desired outcome: To refund and adjust to what I should have paid.If there I a rain check policy to be instilled.An apology from the cashier that served me.

At the deli counter there was only one person assisting a que of customers

Pic n pay staff pushed in names Joyce an Patience

Denise a team leader i think tried tto assist as the manger Neville was not present

More staff came to assist the customers after my complaint

Nevulle did arrive i explained and he said he would handle it

I then said is bad that there was no manager on the floor

He then said 'is he not allowed to go to the bathroom

I said no in my job i must make sure there is a replacement before you leave your post

I expected the same in a retail environment

Desired outcome: Bit more respect from management

Pick n Pay Employee Attitude

The service of employees at Randburg Square,Gauteng. I wanted to get help claiming the free chicken I got for buying a fridge at PnP Hyper but the employees(who had no name tags), even the supervisor Mokgadi were all clueless and treated me as if I'm asking them to pay for me or they are doing me a favour. I ended up not being able to claim the free chicken cos they just pointed me to the smart shopper machine and didn't bother helping me. This took place on thursday/ wednesday on the 16th of March around lunch time.

Desired outcome: Just train your employees on customer service and next time I expect better service

Pick n Pay Fraudulent activities involving their cashiers

On sunday the 20th of march, my husband, daughter and i, went to pnp hyper northgate. My daughter and I went to the supermarket while my hubby went to the bottle store. I got a call from my husband telling me to come pay as his pin was blocked. At that time I arrived at the liquor store and my daughter was already there a bit before me as I asked her to look for him. When I arrived I asked the lady at the till if the card was blocked, she said yes. I used my debit card instead, we left. At 10pm I was going on my absa app and the bank immediately stopped it. Five minutes later a man with a pakistani accent phoned wanting us to give him our detail, we dropped the call. We called the fraud dept. The following day and went to absa branch today and we were told that at that time they tried to steal money out of our card. I phoned pnp today and spoke to a lady called ntombi, who seemed defensive and said it could be a customer who tried to steal our money, she said she spoke to the cashier who said she did not tell me the card was blocked, meanwhile she did, and thus had to use another card.

Desired outcome: I want PNP not to ignore my complaint and for people not to use their cards at Hyper Northgate, their cashiers are working with Pakistani's to clean people's account
