Petro Canada review: Faulty hose at pump 4

Incident date - February 27, 2021
After making my selection and receiving approval I commenced putting gas in my vehicle (Cadillac XT5). After a few minutes passed I felt something wet and cold on the back of my calf. Upon looking down I could see gas spraying from holes in the hose. I tried to stop pumping the gas but then the pressure became greater in the hose. I was horrified. I finally managed to return the pump to its station.
Upon entering the kiosk to complain the female attendant said to me "well why didn't you stop pumping the gas?". I said because the spray from the hose became greater. She offered me a free car wash which I took. However, the damage to my jeans and boots is unacceptable. My Paige jeans ($250.00 + tax) and y Sorrel Boots ($135.00 + tax) are ruined.
