Petco review: rude and disrespectful store manager

About 2 weeks ago I drove to Petco in Hagerstown, Maryland to try to redeem an e-gift card for $25.00. Someone supposedly from the Petco corporate offices sent the e-gift card because of an online order issue. Unfortunately at the time I received the e-gift card my printer broke and I was unable to print it out. I copied the card # and pin # onto a piece of paper and took the information to the store. When I arrived at Petco/Hagerstown, MD I asked a woman for assistance. I later came to find out it was the manager of the store. A woman by the name of Bonnie. When I asked the woman for help I immediately knew I was going to have a huge problem on my hand. She had a poor attitude and didn't appear to have any interest in helping me whatsoever. She asked me to step aside while she did something with the clerk at the front of the store so I stepped aside at her request and went to the cat toy section. She finally arrived and asked me what I needed help with? I explained the situation to her regarding the gift card and she immediately looked all flustered and irritated. She got on the phone to call someone...who I have no idea? and when she couldn't get through to someone because she didn't feel like waiting on the line any longer she asked me if I had a smart phone, to which I replied no and she looked at me like...you have to be kidding me. This seemed to only make her more irritated. She asked me if I had my drivers license with me and I said yes, all I have to do is to run out to my car real quick and grab my wallet. After that she said "I can't help you" "You don't have anything I need". I said to her I just got done telling you I would run out to my car and grab my wallet to which she threw up her arms in the air and started walking away from me and then she started shaking her finger in front of my face when I asked her who she was and I told her that I was going to call the corporate office and get her fired for her rude behavior. She replied "You can't get me fired" and continue to walk away. After that I contacted corporate and the District Manager of the store called me a Mr. Nichelson and although he apologized I had to run back to the store and go through the process all over again and I wasn't even further compensated for the time, gas and frustration this whole situation caused me. This Bonnie woman is a complete psycho and I will never shop at Petco again, and I would advise others to do the same.
