So, like, I don't usually write reviews but I just gotta say something about Perma Products. I mean, I bought this stuff like over a whole year ago and man, what a waste of money, ya know? Like, I tried using it to stick up all sorts of things around my house, and like, I followed the instructions exactly how they said to. And not just that, but I made sure the thing I was sticking up was supposed to be able to be held up by it. But do you know what happened? Every single thing fell down. Like, not even kidding. The longest anything stayed up was like 2 days or something. It's just like, come on man, what a bunch of garbage. So you know what I'm saying, like, just don't even bother wasting your money on this stuff, ya feel me?

So, I bought some of them hanging strips from Perma Products for my pictures. They say that they don't mess up your walls when you take them down. I even watched the video and read the packaging to make sure I was doing everything right. But guess what? Two of my pictures fell down and took some paint with them! I was super upset about this. I contacted the company and all they did was point out the small print that said you gotta measure your picture size as well. Like, seriously? One of my pictures was just a little bit bigger, the other was the right size, but they kept asking me ridiculous questions.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this product at all. I think Bunnings should stop selling it. It's just not good.

Perma Products is definitely not the best when it comes to picture hanging strips. I tried their products and they fell short of the mark. Despite their claims on their website, the strips just couldn't carry my picture that was below 1kg, even though they were supposed to hold up to 5kg. What a disaster! The sticky part of the strips detached from the Velcro and my picture fell off the wall.

I tried to get in touch with Perma, but they didn't seem keen on helping me out. They just kept asking me for more and more information, and even made me send photos. It was frustrating, to say the least.

In the end, I decided to contact Bunnings about the low-quality product that was being sold. Perma Products left me feeling ripped off, as I got such a terrible experience with their product.

In comparison, I have used 3m Command picture strips before, and never had any issues with them. They did an excellent job holding up my pictures securely and I would definitely recommend them over Perma Products any day.

Overall, if you want reliable picture hanging strips, save yourself from the hassle and avoid Perma Products. They're just not worth it.

My husband decided to buy a hook from Perma Products (permaproducts.com) to rehang one of my art prints after painting the walls. It didn't seem like such a difficult task, but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. The packet claims that it's a picture hook that can hold up to 3.5 kilograms. It even has framed pictures on the packet, implying that it's safe to use for that purpose.

However, after only one day, the print fell off the wall, and the glass broke into pieces. That's not the worst part! We have to professionally reframe the print now because of the damage caused by the product. Upon further reading the small print on their website, we discovered that the pack says not to hang glass and frame artworks, which is quite different from what was advertised in front of the pack.

Do not buy this product! Not only will they only refund you for the $4 hook, but you may be left with hundreds of dollars in repairs just like us. We advise you to take extra care and give your art pieces the treatment and respect they deserve. We were fooled by the product's packaging and promises, so don't make the same mistake we did.

So, I recently tried out Perma Products which is a company that promises to come to the rescue when you need some DIY or hardware items. I decided to give their permastik medium picture strips a go in order to finally showcase some of my favorite photographs with ease.

As a non-professional handyman, I thought it would be a piece of cake to hang my favorite lightweight single photo frames. However, after using the Perma Products permastik picture strips, I quickly learned that it’s not as easy as it looks. I have regretted using the strips since they caused some damage to my skirting boards, and ruined a few of my precious pictures and frames.

Imagine my disappointment when I regularly find one of my frames damaged or even completely broken in pieces. I could feel my frustration building when I saw the furry side of the velcro strip systematically peeling from its backing. I felt like I had wasted my money on a product that had caused more damage than good.

But, I am not one to give up easily, so I decided to re-glue the velcro back onto the sticky strip. So far, it has managed to hold onto my frames properly, and I haven't had any more breakages. I had halved the velcro strips as well, but I made sure to check that the weight would be okay before doing so. Except, for some unknown reason, only the furry side keeps detaching from the backing strip.

Overall, I wouldn't say it was a success for me, but at least I learned a few things in the process. Maybe I should have gone with traditional mounting hardware to avoid all the unnecessary damage. I just can't say that I am completely happy with the results that I obtained with the Perma Products permastik medium picture strips. My experience showed me that having a brand name may not always mean that it is the best choice.

Setting up the body weight, fat, and hydration scale from Perma Products was quite a feat. Even though I followed the instructions from the manual, the digital display kept changing at lightning speed, making it very difficult to set it properly. Also, the icon representing the female gender doesn't show up, no matter how many times I press the buttons. This leaves me only able to use the scale for my weight rather than the additional features that it comes with.

All the frustration aside, the scale is also missing crucial information in regards to canceling anything you've entered, in case you make a mistake. With the display constantly changing rapidly, it's almost a guarantee that you'll make at least one error or have no clue what has been entered at all. Furthermore, there seems to be no way to cancel and start over from the beginning, which can cause even more frustration.

To make matters worse, there doesn't seem to be a phone number or any way to reach out to the company for assistance. It's disappointing that there is no support available considering that a product's usability may differ from user to user and their situation. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this product due to all of its issues and the lack of support.

Experience:
I was pretty excited when I purchased the Permastik hooks from my local Bunnings. The package clearly claimed that it would hold up to 500g and would remove cleanly and be rental safe. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when it turned out to be nothing more than a joke.

I carefully followed all the instructions on the package, I even purchased the isopropyl cleaner that was recommended. I put up four hooks and left them there for no more than a month. And when it was time to remove them, I was expecting it to be a breeze. But boy, was I wrong.

All 4 hooks pulled paint off the new wall that was only 12 months old, leaving unsightly patches all around. I had to pay more than what the hooks were worth to patch and paint the wall. When I contacted the company, I thought they would at least listen to my feedback and maybe offer some recompense, but I was mistaken. All I got was the usual spiel about how they value customers' feedback, but they didn't seem to be interested in helping me out.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying these hooks. Clearly, Permastik doesn't care about customers' satisfaction. I would not recommend purchasing their products and urge Bunnings to remove them from their shelves. Needless to say, I will never purchase a Permastik product again. It was a very disappointing experience.

I gotta say, it was kinda annoying to have to provide all that info. But I get it, they wanna make sure they're selling good stuff. And I did appreciate that they wanted to figure out what went wrong and help me out. So I gave them all the info they asked for, and they were actually really helpful. They sent me some new hooks and strips, and these ones actually held up my pictures just fine.

Anyway, I would recommend checking out Perma Products if you need some hooks and strips. They might ask for a lot of info if something goes wrong, but at least they're trying to improve their products and make sure customers are happy.

I had some issues with Perma Products in the past. After using their products like I should have my frames kept falling down and breaking. When I reached out to them, they asked me all sorts of questions like what type of paint was on the wall, when was the wall painted, and how was the wall prepared, etc. It felt like they were just stalling. I had to show proof of purchase, but who seriously keeps receipts all the time?

Just yesterday, I accidentally bought their Removable Stick Dots when I meant to get something else. I followed the instructions to the letter and was only trying to hang up some A4 laminated sheets. But after an hour or so, thud thud...they kept falling. I was so mad at myself for making that mistake.

I didn't bother complaining to them again. What's the point? This company has absolutely no customer service skills and their products are not good quality at all. I don't have these kinds of issues with 3M Command goods even though I use the same wall, same paint, etc. Don't waste your money on Perma Products. Stay far away from them.

I, like most of the other people here on this site, wish I had read reviews before buying from Perma Products. I snagged some of their teeny picture hooks (it says that they can hold up to 750G!) to hang a couple of medium-sized picture frames that weighed in at around 630g and were 315mm square. Our apartment was painted professionally only a couple of years ago, and I even cleaned it with some isopropyl alcohol before putting the hooks up. I left the hooks on for even longer than the suggested 1hr requirement, more like 24 hours. Last night, I woke up to the sound of a huge crash. To my dismay, the one of the two frames that I had hung earlier in the week was now lying on the floor - shattered into a thousand pieces. Ouch! Just yesterday, I had hung another 12 of Perma's terrible hooks as I had intended to make a gallery wall. It looks like now I have to remove all of them, hopefully without damaging the paint in my apartment, all so that I can replace them with the superior 3M version. Trust me, I should have just used the 3M hooks from the very beginning.

Come on, Bunnings! You really need to stop carrying this rubbish product. I'm heading straight back to the store today with the damaged frame and the minuscule number of hooks that are left, for a refund. Plus, you can bet that I'll tell the store just how shoddy these things are. It would be fantastic if there is an option for zero stars, but unfortunately, it's not an option.

Apparently, the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) obliges businesses to offer consumer guarantees for most services and goods they sell. These hooks are not fit for purpose. Nonetheless, the loophole is that customers must provide proof of purchase of the item before they can claim the guarantee within up to 12 months. Seriously, who keeps receipts for every single purchase they make? People need to contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and grievance formally.

Man, I gotta tell ya, don't waste your time or money on Perma Products. I mean, seriously, I've never seen a company that cares so little about its customers. Yo, just gotta let y'all know, I moved into a new place and was tryna put some stuff up on the wall with Perma Products' PermaStik Large Strips. At first I thought, yeah these gonna hold up, they rated to handle 5kgs. But dang, they didn't stick for long and weren't that strong when they did. Major let down.

And then when it was time to take 'em down, they straight up messed up my wall. Like, ripped off a big chunk of plaster. Not cool. I was hoping for better, especially since I was renting and don't wanna have to pay for repairs when I move out.

This product has proven to be utter rubbish and has failed me twice now.

Therefore, I would advise against buying this product if you're looking for something durable and reliable. The glue is not only weak but also unreliable in maintaining the grip between the Velcro parts, making it an unsafe option for items hanging from walls.

I recently bought a set of 12 clear plastic hooks from Perma Products for my daughter's rented apartment. I tried to use the hooks, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, to say the least. Simply following the instructions to attach these sticky hooks, I let the adhesive sit overnight before putting any weight on them. However, a minute after I hung my child's coat, the hook failed. To my surprise, all the other hooks fell off, too.

The wall tab, which attaches to the wall, looked securely stuck, but the hook itself seems to have no holding strength. It's pointless to have a hook that doesn't fulfil its purpose; it's only adding to clutter. Honestly, Perma Products' clear plastic hooks are not up to the mark. Save your time and money.
