Penn Foster review: Escalated complaint: failure to provide required lab kit and loss of extended course time

Dear Penn Foster Student Support and Academic Administration,

I am writing to formally escalate my complaint regarding Penn Foster’s continued failure to provide a required lab kit for my course and the ongoing inadequacy of student support surrounding this issue.

Despite repeated attempts to obtain basic information, no representative has been able to confirm whether my lab kit has been ordered, shipped, or when I can expect delivery. The lack of clear answers or accountability has completely stalled my ability to complete required coursework.

As a direct result of this unresolved issue, I was forced to request a three-month course extension solely because I could not proceed without the lab kit. One full month of that extension has already elapsed, yet there is still no resolution, no confirmed shipment, and no reliable timeline. I am effectively losing paid course time due to Penn Foster’s administrative failure.

I previously submitted a formal complaint regarding this matter. The only response I received was a request for my WhatsApp number, which should already be on file and is the same as my listed cell phone number. This response failed to address the substance of my complaint or move the issue toward resolution.

At this point, the ongoing delay, loss of instructional time, and lack of meaningful response raise serious concerns regarding Penn Foster’s compliance with basic consumer protection standards and the expectations of an accredited educational institution. I am documenting this matter accordingly should further escalation become necessary.

I am requesting immediate action, including:

Written confirmation of the status and shipment of my lab kit

A clear delivery timeframe

Clarification on how the loss of course time will be remedied

Please escalate this matter to the appropriate supervisory or administrative level and respond in writing without further delay.
