You get a pressured sales pitch for the insurance coverage, then they attempt to add surge protectors and cables not asked for. Overall a very poor experience, a purchase of a $2450 television should be painless, walk in, pay, walk out.

Buyer beware! P. C. Richard had the lowest price on the summit series weber grill I wanted for my wife's birthday … by $250, nearly 20%. I worried this was too excellent to be right, but went ahead and ordered through their site, where the item was listed 'in stock' … no warnings about low stock, even. The grill was to be delivered in 5 days. Sure enough, 3 days later, I get an email that they "need more details" on my order, so I have to call them. They tell me the stock is "low," they have none in the warehouse, that they're checking showrooms for it, and will call me back, "but it'll be at least an hour." why they waited to until I called to check stock, I can't guess. Turns out, they're out of stock on the grill I needed for my wife's birthday this weekend. Just terrible business. They've really messed me up, too, on this birthday thing … won't deal with them again!

Pc richards act as if they do a wonderful job taking care of the employees, but yet make saleman work long hrs roughly 55hrs and having 1 day off:.saleman are very tired and burnout from long hrs|.so there for no time with family or time to enjoy your own piece of mind, .Pc richards employees are tax roughly 40ish percent but act as if the government is doing it but they not!.VERY UNLAWFUL!?.Dept of labor is gonna be notified very soon and getting the media involve as well;.its more unlawful things going on/.

P C Richard & Son in Paramus act as if they do a wonderful job taking care of the employees, but yet make saleman work long hrs roughly 60hrs and having 1 day off.saleman are very tired and burnout from long hrs.so there for no time with family or time to enjoy your own piece of mind. I remember a saleman showing me his hours for Black Friday last year. I believe everything you said. They made him work 21 hours on Black Friday alone. Isn't that illegal?
Has anyone pursued these people legally?
Has anyone successfully pursued this company to get their money back, or pursued legal action agains this company? I unfortunately did not see these reviews until after I ordered a camera. Immediately on seeing these, I called to cancel my order and the same guy who always answers the phone put me on hold immediately without saying anything. I called back and was put on hold again. Only after the third call did he tell me my camera had already shipped, and couldn't be cancelled.
I asked him why I hadn't received a confirmation email, or a UPS tracking number, and he said that he wasn't in the shipping department, he didn't have access to that.
At any rate, the camera seems to have arrived, although I do not want to open the box because I will be returning it. I fear, after reading other reviews, that if I open the box they will claim that the camera was scratched and try to charge more than just the restocking fee.
I also want to know if there's an avenue for getting them to waive the restocking fee and just get all my money back.
This is just a bait-and-switch scam company

I will be filing a complaint with the FBI's Online Criminal Complaint Center. I had the same thing. I gave them two credit cards, like a [censored], because I only had a specific amount on each card. At the end they told me the price was higher due to "shipping insurance" - what the hell ever, I said CANCEL MY ORDER. He got rude and told me my order would be canceled. I woke up the next day to see he had taken $700 from one credit card and $168 from another. I tried to call, just got, call back during normal business hours - which I was calling during. They must have my number blocked because that is all I get when I call from my phone...and to top it of, the account I set up on their site clearly shows I have no orders. So why the hell did they charge my cards? I have started the lengthy process of having my credit card companies get back the funds but shouldn't have to. That's why I am going to the Onlie C3 board on them. Let the FBI handle them!

Ill give u good reasons...
1. The sales man ur dealing with gets paid $500/week b4 taxes, which they owe back to the company if they do not cover that.
... That being said he/she probably owes p. C. Money... Crz u say.. Indeed..
2. No concern over their sales staff what so ever... Unless ur writting 100k a month, therefore becoming an elite pc soldier, (Eps-aka "the untouchables", for future ref)
3. Most of them want to get fired..

4.in the effort of staying competative in pricing, the price is changed numerous time through the week.. (Most of the time the salesman dosnt know) if its lower than the tag price someone didnt change it. * for their com based salesman... If its higher ull get the lower price...
Clarifying the whole comm salesman thing:
There is no longer commision at pc only the idea still exist... U c. It works as such, to earn the commision u must sell it at retail price.. Not too hard, except that they post it at a lower price on-line, newspapers, in-store sales... So anybody with internet access or a cellphone (Thank god there isnt a lot of those) can find the sale price. So everything u sell is just 1%, unless ur part of the eps which means he has the managers code, and is at least getting 2%..
5. They dont hire women, unless its for the front office... I belive in u saleswoman, they dont! (If u go through their 60+ stores, ull find maybe 10 at thbest.. There are about 2000+ men.. Equal opportunity employer?
6. The unfairness with the eps and the rest of the sales is crazy, while everyone else is cleaning, taggin storing merchandise an eps will always be just selling...
7. The managers (Most) are just puppets for "the untouchables", who are just there to make sure the rest of the crew is working hard... To top it off they (Managers) love to hand out their duties such as, merchandising, inventories, even truck unloading... But not to the esp no no no
8. It has gotten to the point that to make money u have to b untruthful, a liar and a cheat... Carefull of the untouchables...

Before the old man died I was proud to say I worked at pc. Richard and son, it truly was a great place where u could make an honest living..
The problem is not that pc is so badddd... But really the other ones are worse...

Truth2011...I was in the market to buy appliances for my new home. I'm still living near a P.C. Richard and was considering purchasing there. Is this not a good move?

Pc richards is a place where i've shopped for many things.. The salesman ola yusuf was unhelpfull... The service dept on the other hand is the worst... Dont buy extended service contracts from them... First they sell you a contract for lets say 3 years and the appliance you buy has a year warranty on it already.. So they beat you for a year off the bat...
