One opinion for sales strategy is to put everything in the same place like:
FULL 100hrs maintenance for yamaha: the oil and spark plugs, thermostat, fuel water separator, impeller, anodes... and the clients unchecks what they dont need. The company will make more on sales, and the client will have everything they need and not waste time. Win Win

When they called back, they informed me they were able to locate my part in another location for sourcing that part. This shortened my lead time by approximately 3 weeks. I placed an telephone order today with Alyssa. She is the best customer service person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. First she sent me to Yamahapropselector.com to find the correct prop for my boat, then I called her back with the part number. She found the prop at Yamaha and placed my order. She did all this is a friendly and professional way. It's a good company who hires such good people.

PartsVu is the best price for getting the package deals for all your lubricants and filters. Plus they carry about everything else needed for outboards. Send your order and comes on time packaged well. Have no complaints with any of my orders.
On my very first order I ordered the wrong oil for my motor. Called customer service and they told me what to do on sending it back. They sent me what I needed and all was good. No complaints as it was my fault for ordering the wrong stuff.
This was sold as a new prop, but it had been ran
This was sold as a new prop, but it had been ran. The box was retaped, there are minor scratches on the prop that would not be there if truly new, and you can see where the exhaust had stained the inside of the prop including the brass hun which is usually nice and shiny when new. I am not happy with that aspect, but it does not appear to be hurt so I willing to accept it. I assume someone bought it, ran it, didn't like the performance and returned it. Will I have the same courtesy? I have 2 other props that I don't need based upon same trials and tribulations. Short of that, I am happy with the service, and fair price for the prop.

I'm real happy that the fact you guys had the tachometer I was looking for it will match the speedo I have coming I'm putting a very classic Volkswagen Beetle together which it looks just like Herbie the Love Bug and I'm trying to eliminate all the stock crap on the dashboard my only regret is that you guys did not have a mechanical vdo oil pressure gauge to match nor a mechanical oil temperature gauge to match and that one would have to have 144 inch lead if for some reason I made a mistake and cannot locate them and you can please don't hesitate send me an email or give me a phone call I'll be more than happy to order them from you if you have such things thank you very much for the experience hopefully we can do business again!
BIG Rip off with a 20% restocking fee
I purchased a Mercury Carburetor for $846.00 and upon receipt I realized I had ordered the wrong product. I called them for their return procedure and was instructed to send Cust Srv pictures, I did and my return was approved for "a full refund". I shipped it back (at my expense, return shipping is not included in their returns) in the boxes I received the product in , as instructed, with their RA # only on the exterior box. Carb was received loosely packed in a generic brown box and that's the box I sent it back in. After about 1 week I received an email stating that my return was subject to a 20% restocking fee of $ 181.28 ! On their email they say because " return not being in, or containing the original packaging ..."
I've emailed them questioning this but have not received any response . THIS IS A BIG RIP OFF. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS.
Recommendation: THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED ! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PARTSVU.

Terrible Return Policy & Part condition
Ordered a part from this company because the return policy seemed to be legit. Turns out I was wrong. First, the part came in a larger box, some filler paper and the actual part was in a smaller box. That box was not damaged but there was in indentation when we received it. We opened the box, which there was a folding top, no tape, pulled the part out of the box. We then noticed that the part was not in a plastic sleeve like most opened parts and it was wrapped with a rubber band vice a tie wrap that a manufacturer would have issued. No big deal to us. After looking at the part, we immediately knew we ordered the wrong part. We literally put the part right back in the box and I requested a return number so I could ship it back. The sales rep then asked me for pictures of the box. I sent them. Then she wanted pictures of all sides of the box. I sent them. She then told me her parts manager said the item was not eligible for return because we opened the box. When I ran down the return policy (both listed below - and yes there are multiple return policies associated with this company) and asked her why the part was in eligible for return, she responded by saying I opened the box. Given that the box was not see through in any capacity, I asked how I was supposed to know I ordered the wrong part without opening the box and reiterated that the part and the box were in the original condition as it was shipped. She informed me that I opened the box and therefore it was ineligible for return. Never in my life have I heard of such a terrible and subjective return policy. My recommendation is not to order from them.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience on PartsVu - Not Feeling Confident About My Purchase
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on PartsVu. I needed to double-check a parts number, but when I called up their "customer service" line, I was stuck on hold for a whole half hour! Ain't nobody got time for that.
Anyway, I ended up just taking a chance and ordering the part I thought was right. But honestly, I'm not feeling too confident about it. I mean, they do have a return policy, so I guess that's something. But I'd much rather have a company that I can trust to get me the right part the first time around.
Overall, I'm not super impressed with PartsVu. Maybe they've got some good stuff on their site, but if their customer service is anything to go by, I'm not sure I'd want to risk it.

Finally got my order through and it arrived a few days later. The parts were good quality and fit perfectly, but the whole process was a bit frustrating.

Long Wait and Damaged Box: My PartsVu Review
So, I ordered some parts from PartsVu and it took a whole 12 days to get to me. The box was all messed up, but the stuff inside was okay. I was getting updates from the USPS and they kept saying it was gonna come, but it didn't. Then they said it was in Oklahoma City, but it was supposed to be coming from Florida to Kentucky. I don't know what's up with that. Maybe you should use a different shipper if you don't want to wait forever and get your stuff all banged up.

This website is pretty good, I gotta say. I was looking for a Yamaha MAR-FUEL-IL-TR filter, but it didn't seem to be available online. I ended up spending almost an hour on hold with Customer Service to see if the Sierra filter would work as a replacement, but I got disconnected before I could get an answer. So, they definitely need to work on their phone service. But other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with my experience.
Mixed Experience with PartsVu: Limited Inventory and Lack of Descriptors
I gotta say, I was a bit disappointed when I couldn't find an oil change package for full synthetic on PartsVu. I mean, come on, who doesn't use full synthetic these days? But hey, I did my own research and found the part numbers I needed, so no biggie.
One thing that did bug me though was that the parts didn't have any descriptors. Like, how am I supposed to know what I'm buying if there's no description? I had to rely on my own knowledge and experience to make sure I was getting the right stuff.
And don't even get me started on trying to find a low pressure fuel filter for my Mercury 150 HP. I searched high and low on PartsVu and couldn't find anything. But, being the resourceful person that I am, I went online and found the part numbers I needed. Then I went back to PartsVu and plugged in the part numbers. Voila! There they were.
I had to do the same thing with the oil filter too. It wasn't as hard to find, but still, it would have been nice if PartsVu had everything I needed in one place.
Overall, I'd say PartsVu is a decent website for buying boat parts, but it could use some improvements. Maybe add some descriptors to the parts and expand the inventory a bit. But hey, at least I was able to find what I needed in the end.
Mixed feelings about PartsVu order: Missing filter and damaged box
Got my stuff from PartsVu and it was all there, but one of the filters was looking pretty rough. The box was all busted up and the filter had a little dent in it. But hey, I figured it's just a filter, right? So I put it in and it seems to be working fine. I gotta say though, it's kinda weird that they would send me something that looks like it got run over by a truck. Like, did they not notice the box was all messed up when they packed it? Or did they just not care? I don't know, man. But at least I got my stuff.

So, I was looking for a 100 hour maintenance kit with cooling for my Yamaha F115, and I found PartsVu. I placed my order and waited for it to arrive. When it finally did, I was disappointed to find that they had sent me a motor oil and gear oil change kit for a twin Yamaha F150 instead. I was confused because the invoice included in the shipping box was for my original order.
I had to take some photographs of the wrong order and send them to PartsVu. It was a bit of a hassle, but they did send me the right order relatively quickly. They also included a return shipping label to send back the wrong order they had sent me.
Overall, it was a bit of a delay in getting my boat ready for the season. I had to wait an extra week for the right parts to arrive. But, I appreciate that PartsVu fixed their mistake and sent me the correct order. I would still recommend them to others, but just be sure to double-check your order when it arrives.
Misleading Stock Information and Delayed Delivery from PartsVu
I ordered from PartsVu 'cause I've used 'em before and they said they had what I needed in stock. I needed it to winterize my boats, so I ordered it. But then they sent me an email sayin' it wouldn't be delivered 'til mid-February. I asked 'em to cancel, but the dang thing showed up a week ago and now I can't use it 'cause my boats are already winterized. I got charged for it too, which ain't cool. I just wish they'd keep their website updated so I wouldn't have wasted my time and money.

I gotta say, I had a pretty frustrating experience with PartsVu. I was waiting on an order and it just wasn't coming through. I tried calling and emailing, but it seemed like nobody really knew what was going on. Eventually, I was told that one item was holding up the whole order, but that it would be in the next day. I was relieved to hear that, but it turned out to be a bunch of baloney. I got an email a few days later saying that the item was actually out of stock and wouldn't be coming in anytime soon. What a letdown!
To make matters worse, they offered to ship the rest of my order without the missing item, but I would have to pay extra for shipping. I mean, come on! That's just not right. I decided to cancel the whole order and take my business elsewhere. It took way too long to get my stuff and the communication was just terrible.
I placed my order on April 24th and didn't receive everything until May 4th. That's just way too long, especially when everything was supposed to be in stock. I don't think I'll be ordering from PartsVu again anytime soon.
Better off ordering somewhere else.
