After Hurricane ***, I was advised to use roof tarps to cover the damage. However, I have not received any further assistance since then. There has been no response or contact from a representative for over a month. It is disappointing to see that their website claims they do not hire anyone, yet I did receive a bill for the year 2023. Additionally, I have had three adjusters assigned to my case, but still no resolution.

I sent a letter to Olympus for nonresponsiveness. Readin the recent reviews, I am in agreement that one half of a star rating, is too much. I am on my third adjuster and still have not received any money to proceed forward wih my loss recovery. I am afraid it may come down to litigation.

Horrible Insurance company. They cashed my check for my homeowners insurance even though it was 2 weeks late. Then 10 days later they sent me their check for the amount of the premium and cancelled my insurance without any notice of cancellation. Absolutely no grace period. I had been with them for years with no claims. I hope they go out of business.

They wont cover my fence and they left my claim open for over a month without even a rejection letter. I asked for my rejection letter so I can work with other agencies but I aint heard back from my adjuster yet. I called the adjuster like 4-5 times and sent like 4-5 emails but they aint replied once. Im not renewin with these crooks next year for sure.

Non-Responsive. I filed a claim within 24 hours of hurricane *** and the field adjuster was at home 2 weeks after the storm. I haven't received any correspondence since the adjuster was at my home in mid-Oct. Currently on our 2nd desk adjuster, who doesn't return phone calls or emails. This company shouldn't be allowed to take consumers' money when they have no intention of delivering the services that have been paid for. Criminals!

This company don't follow the state law. My claim was submitted almost 60 days ago and we still haven't received a statement of loss. I've been assigned 3 adjusters within this time and the current adjuster won't return emails or calls. The only formal communication I've received is their right to repair letter which is absolutely absurd 'cause they can't even meet the timelines outlined in state law to process the claim and now they want full responsibility and liability of replacing my roof? My next call is to my lawyer.

One star is too good for this company. We've carried this insurance since 2018. Our rates skyrocketed from $900 to $5700 in 2020 without ever having filed a claim. Then, when we needed our roof replaced this year, and we could never get a hold of our adjuster to follow up. Olympus Insurance has no answers for us and keeps telling us we need to speak with our adjuster. It's been 10 months with no denial letter, no communication, nothing. Today, we get a bill for 2022. Our rates have now increased to $11,000. After reading all the other reviews from 2021, it seems that they are definitely scamming their customers.

Olympus Insurance Company is possibly the worst Home Owners Insurance company ever. They lack integrity and are completely unethical. I had roof damage from a hurricane about a year ago. A field adjuster came to inspect and said a full replacement was necessary due to extensive damage. However, when the report reached Olympus, it was denied. They gave a bogus excuse that too much time had passed between the date of the loss and the claim, even though the law allows a couple of years to file.

This year, another storm came through, causing more concern. I filed another claim, expecting more damage to be found, which is just logical and common sense. I went through the process again, and the same thing happened. More damage was found and a report was submitted. But Olympus reviewed it and denied the claim once more. Their reason this time was that the damage was found in the same areas and the original damage hadn't been repaired. Well, no kidding, Sherlock! It's because Olympus denied the claim the first time! What am I even paying them for?

To anyone reading this, please do not buy from this company! My next step is to go to the media!

Olympus Insurance Company is the absolute worst. Their customer service is beyond rude, and they flat out denied our claim. They dragged their feet until the very last minute, and just to rub salt in the wound, they sent us a letter in the middle of our decision wait, saying they were raising our premium by a whopping 92%! Can you believe that?

Let me tell you what happened. On Christmas Eve of 2020, a tornado hit our neighborhood. Our neighbors on all sides had to get new roofs, and being elderly, we couldn't climb up to inspect our two-story roof ourselves. It took us a couple of months to finally get a roofer to come out and take a look. When he did, he showed us pictures of the damage and told us to contact our insurance company.

So, we called up Olympus Insurance and filed a claim. But the customer representative we spoke to immediately got defensive, asking us why we waited so long to file. I mean, come on, we have two whole years to do it! Eventually, they sent out an adjuster who agreed that our roof needed to be replaced, but apparently, the final decision came from the office.

We waited the full 90 days allowed by our policy for a response from the service rep. And what did we get? A generic denial letter. Can you believe it? We were so frustrated that we decided to hire a private adjuster, and even they agreed that we had a legitimate claim. But guess what? Denied again!

I'm telling you, stay far away from Olympus Insurance Company if you want any sort of decent coverage. They are absolutely terrible, and I wouldn't wish their service on my worst enemy.

I'm really mad at this company! We had damages during the hurricane in Florida in September and we finally got a check in the mail to fix the damages we've been waiting for and THE CHECK BOUNCED! Can you believe it? We fought so hard to get this check and they send us a bad check?! This is really bad business! I wouldn't recommend this company at all! When you try to call, you can't get through to anyone! Nobody cares about their customers at this company! I don't know how someone can do business like this and get away with it! Give me my money back or I'll keep complaining about this company! It's already bad enough that they're not giving us nearly enough money to replace our barn that fell down when it was considered a total loss. Now what are we supposed to do? We have nothing because they gave us a bad check!
