I bought a used 1999 Dodge grand caravan minivan from this used dealership as is. I test drove the car and all seemed okay. No knocks. Nothing. A smooth ride. Even looked under the hood. All okay so it appeared. After I paid for the minivan and got it home I noticed within a couple of days the car began to pull to the left. So much so, the car appeared to tilt as if to tip over. Couple of days after that experience the starter began to spin on start up and within one to three day the battery died and would not start anymore. The car is a lemon and unsafe to drive by anyone. I am a disabled veteran and can't believe these people could have done this to me. "'AS IS', to me means... when you test drive a car, if it is reasonably driveable with no noticeable apparent mechanical problems then buying it means the car should continue to perform to the degree to which you test drove it. But when the car in the aftermath, i.e. after purchase, begins to evince all kinds of apparent mechanical problems and noises that weren't there when test-driven, then it isn't 'AS IS' by definition anymore." It is fraud and deception on the part of the dealership and shows nothing mechanical, repairs that is, was made to the car to make it safe for the consumer prior to selling it. Dealerships which engage in such bad business practices should be shut down for good.
