Oakley Money taken even though no order was placed.

Today being Friday the 22nd of September, I decided I wanted to treat myself to a couple of oakley sunglasses, to after much time picking and choosing I finally decided on two pairs, kaast, and a pair of custom split shot.

I made it through to paying and picking a store for collection.

I paid for the order, no email confirmation, so I tried calling the number on the website and that didn't work!

I then started a chat with a robot then eventually I got through to a human and they said it didn't go through and that my money will be held for a couple of days.

I don't know why they couldn't of put the order through when I was chatting to someone, they knew I placed the order, they had my details.

So now I'm left with nearly minus £400 and can't buy my sunglasses, and if I did placed another order I wouldn't know if the same as above would happen again!

The website is slow and glitchy!

So looks like I'll have to take my money somewhere else... when j get my money back.

Desired outcome: For someone from the company to contact me and resolve the issue and place the order.

Oakley Products returned but denied refund!

On April 22nd 2023, I purchased 10 items for a total amount of $2407.48. The delivery came late. Purchase was intended as a gift for my family living overseas. Since the order was late, I couldn't send the items overseas and I initiated a return. I received two shipping labels as all the items cannot be placed in a single package. I returned the items via UPS and received confirmation that the package was delivered. Oakley waited for three weeks for processing. I contacted customer service 4 times during this time frame. I received a initial refund of $885.48 for some items in the box. I was told that the rest of the items are still processing and I will receive a refund, when they finish the processing. On June 22 nd 2023, I received an email from oakley.com claiming that the return was not in compliance with the policy and not able to return my balance amount. I contacted the customer service and they told me, they are unable to process the refund. I contacted UPS and they said the product was delivered. I do have the receipt confirming the delivery of the products to Oakley location. Oakley.com scammed me by taking all the products and cancelled my refund of $1522.00

They are claiming that the return is in violation but refunded some products from the same package. I would like to remind the consumers that Oakley.com is not customer friendly!. BEWARE of this seller! They will try to scam you and take your money.

Oakley protective sunglass clear

I'm very displeased at the quality of the protective clear glass( light weight) (H003468364679) the picture of the frames and the one I recived are different I recieved is cheap plastic frame, looks nothing like the frames on my oakly golf glass. I'm disappointed it was a sale showing a more expenive pare and deliveing a very poor copy (look a like ) What can you do about this I need these class thank you Thomas Comis

Oakley Polarized glasses are peeling on the glasses

I bought my ladies Enduro glasses 2 months ago and nou they have been peeling off the polarized part of the glasses and now you can't even see through them.

There is a number on the side of the glasses just to give more details of the pair of the glasses.

Oakley Oakley double edge sunglasses, "bad lenses"

A pair of OAKLEY DOUBLE EDGE PRIZM P was purchased late summer/autumn 2019. I have been very satisfied with the glasses, love the lenses. Unfortenately I recently discovered small marks or perhaps some creases of the film on the outside of the lenses close to nose area. I have been very carefull with the glasses during the almost three years and I am a bit surprised to see this type of damage or behavior of the material. A crack would have been a better indication of bad handling from my side.

I do not think Oakley is prepared to hand me new lenses but maybe it could be of interest for the quality work to understand what happens after the obvious "warranty" period. I had a pair of Maui Jims sunglasses and was very happy with their product and polarization. The lenses clearly could not withstand salt water but they send me new lenses, later on also new frames since the metal lost it finish.

Oakley replacement lenses

Approximately Thurs, 17 March 2022 I went online and placed an order for new replacement lenses for my Flak Jacket sunglasses. At the last second upon completion and execution of that order the screen showed I had ordered Flight Jacket lenses. Therefore I called back immediately to cancel the order. (I did not receive an acknowledgment of the order or any communication whatsoever from Oakley.) When I called Oakley to cancel the order (within minutes of placing the order) I was told that my information was NOT in the system. There was no record of the order using my email address and name. I told them that PayPal showed that I had been charged and the person told me that that charge would disappear from my PayPal account within 24 hours since there was no order. I checked 24 hours later and again the next day and the charge was still showing on my PayPal account and I still had received no communication from Oakley. A day or so later I called back to cancel and Oakley still maintained I never ordered the product so at that point I needed to contact PayPal and request a refund from them, which I promptly did online on 21 March 2022. Within 24 hours (on 22 March) PayPal had order information (even though it was for the wrong lenses) from Oakley showing not only order information but also shipping info. Oakley still claims I'm not in their system and they are now suggesting that I placed my order on a counterfeit website! This is INSANE! All I want are the grey Flak Jacket lenses that I ordered or else refund my money to my PayPal account. Pretty simple. I can't include any documentation because Oakley never sent me any. Today I wasted an hour on the phone trying to explain this situation to the Oakley people. Oakley's computers are communicating with PayPal but they won't communicate with me or with their own people. The inference from Oakley.com is that I'm making this whole thing up.

Desired outcome: I would like either my pair of grey Flak Jacket lenses that I tried to order, or a refund of $40.66 to my PayPal account ([protected]@captdrdave.com).

Oakley parts and service

i tried some days ago to buy temples cause i lost one that simply fell off. I got earsocks that i mistakenly thought were temples.I then enquired as to where i could get temples but all i got is an employee who took about 7 to 8 minutes (if not more) to respond to any question i had and just didnt seem to care at all that a client was happy at all.She seemed like she was taking her time on pupose to make me leave her alone.I have the whole chat here if you want to see it and i would ask to direct me to someone for an official complaint.

All i wanted to do is buy two temples and two earsocks plus buy a front unit where the lenses go since i bought other lenses for my flak 2,0 xl. This way i would have had two pairs of your product since i already had bought 2 set of lenses.But your employee just did not care if i ever bought anything else from you and i still want to lodge an official complaint because she did everything to stop me from buying more products from you

now i have a pair of flak 2.0 xl that i cant wear because your employee couldnt tell me where to buy replacement parts.The same employee just didnt give a damn if i ever bought anything from you in the future.

Oakley Replacement parts

References: Orders 730303 and 722521.
Issue: Lost the nose peace to these glasses: oakley-oo9313-[protected]-evzero-mens-sunglasses-4.jpg (900×900) (yimg.com). Went to the store to get a replacement part, where we were advised that the stores no longer provide replacement parts and that we had to order it ourselves on the website. "super easy".

Placed TWO orders for this less than $5 part that is now costing us more than $30 because ... twice the shipping costs, twice the part costs. Still nothing that fits, and an almost $200 pair of glasses that can't be worn. From the website, it is impossible to know which part(s) to order.

Tried the chat-help but no luck "just look at the diagram". THAT IS NOT HELPFUL! Tried the customer service email, same response "just look at the diagram".

Desired outcome: Refund of costs, correct part number, STORE PERSONNEL BEING ABLE TO HELP.

Oakley Broken products

I was given a pair of oakley sunglasses (tinfoil carbon) for my birthday. They were looked after with care than myself. just before Christmas the arm of the sunglasses snapped off as I was putting them on. Iput them away at Christmas because I received another pair of sunglasses which were also Oakley's only this time they were carbon glasses which were released at the same time as the tinfoils but were called carbon something, I'm not sure what they were, however just after couple of months before the following Christmas they to broke in same way as the first pair, the arm just broke off in exactly the same manner. I wasn't very happy with the glasses so I decided to take both pairs to a jeweler told me the glasses were too difficult use a welder. I went everywhere to find a way to fix the arms of the glasses, some tried and some said theres nothing anyone can do about it. Like I said I tried every way I could. then covid hit and I couldn't reach out to anyone, now I felt really let down, and angry with how much money the glasses were (over $300 each) and they broke in exactly the same and know one could help me. I have still got the glasses, but I haven"t got receipts as they were gifts by a quite a few people. I"m not asking for two pairs of glasses but I think it would be fair to get a pair of glasses similar to the ones that broke. I would really appreciate it. like I said |I've still got the glasses but no receipts as I feel you uncomfortable asking around. I hope this letter has reached out to you and you understand my situation, I only want one pair of glasses for the two that that broke within a year of me wearing them. Oakley Lenses

My Oakley (4+1) lenses is damaged. It look like it is scratched but is not, I am not sure what is happening to the lenses, but it is almost like it is fading or something.

I would like the lenses to be inspected to see if it is normal and repair or replace them.

These glasses were purchased by my sister as a gift in the UK, and I am living in South Africa.

Oakley Prizm Lens Sunglasses

I purchased these in the fall of 2019 from a Sunglass Hut in the Henderson NV Galleria mall (yes, I'm aware the warranty period is up)under my email: [protected]@yahoo.com or phone # [protected]. I don't know the model name/number but you can look that up. The reason for my complaint is because the lenses scratched IMMEDIATELY due to very easy handling, and quickly to the point of impeding my vision. I will never pay anywhere close to this much for glasses again knowing they will become scratched SO ridiculously easily. I can't imagine a man on the planet (they are a men's style) that would put up with having to handle anything used this much this carefully. I walked into a SH in the Miracle Mall in downtown Las Vegas a few months ago, and was dismissed quickly by the manager telling the clerk (who was very nice) I must be cleaning them with my shirt. Even if I was doing that to any great degree, which I haven't, they STILL should never be so easily damaged. I also emailed in December with no response except the automated. I don't know how this product sells as much as it does.

Oakley oakley dispute lens problems

Hi there is there an address whereto I can send an email with a complaint regarding Oakley Dispute sunglasses which I purchased from an Optometrist in Port Elizabeth, South Africa? My original Oakley Dispute sunglasses was replaced with a new set as it was within the warranty period that I returned them. I got a new pair in 2016 and again they have the same problem. When you fold the ear-piece in to put away the sunglasses the tip of the ear-piece scratches the inside of the lenses.
Is there anything that can be done about this? I still have my proof of purchase.

Oakley i'm complaining about the oakley eyeglasses

Oakley Corporation.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to inform you that I have been a loyal customer of the brand Oakley for the last 10 years and more.
I would like to express the poor service I received when I called your Oakley stores in Dubai and they don't have spares for the below mentioned.

I have purchased seven sets of crosslink glasses from the Optical stores in Dubai in the last few years, and i'm so disappointed that non of the stores/Franchise have spare for the following.
1) Nose bridge keep falling they are not
2) Silicon sleeves for the arms, are ripped, and peeling off.
3) Spares Arms are broken at the joint.

Unfortunately I don't have invoices for the glasses purchased from various outlets in the UAE, all my glasses are crosslink as they are curved and they fit my face well.

I would appreciate if you could get back to me at the earliest.
If you truly value your customers suggestion you will definitely look into this with high importance.

Oakley sunglasses

To whom it may concern!

I am Ankit Dahiya, currently living in New Zealand. I Bought Oakley Prizm sunglasses from Duty free in Mumbai on Sunday 10.10.2019 while coming back to NZ from India however within 3 days the colour of the glasses is coming off. I have doubt if they sold me a genuine Oakley glasses or some random Oakley as being a consumer and after investing huge amount of money on this expensive brand would not expect discolouration or the coating of the glasses to come off. This was the only piece available and doubt if this was something really old that was kept at the counter. Would utterly request you to please look into this matter and would like my glasses to be exchanged with a genuine Oakley brand.

Oakley product is faulty

I bought a pair of Oakley sliver stealth deep water polarised from the Oakley store on my birthday 2 weeks ago I have the receipts i checked the leans for scratches and the were perfect but when i took the home and was admiring them I noticed on the arm the manufactured usa symbol was crooked and there's a scratch going from the emblem to the lettering CE I took a a photo and sent it to Oakley online and they told me to take them back to the store when I took the sunglasses back to the store they had another the two pairs with exactly the same fault the manufactured USA were crooked and have the sctatch out of 3 I took the 1 with the least crooked emblem but still has a scratch just on top of it because I didn't want to go home without a pair of glasses nothing else fits my face properly i love them but there's a defect on them and I paid full price I do not think this is fair and it's not just one pair it's all the pairs they had and when I spoke to a lady on main office she grabed a pair from the store room and seen the same thing as well and told me that it's a mould problem and didn't offer any resolution or help she just said go back to the store and deal with the store the problem is I have gone into the store and dealt with them and they're very nice all have other sunglasses they were going to replace them with had the same defect the store cant help they've showed me three other pairs and they're exactly the same defect crooked emblem with a scratch on top of it.. i paid full price for them this really hurt me this to pay so much and have this defect

Oakley defect in product

Oakley has dropped it's quality in the last few years what a shame there will my go-to glasses I've got like 5 pairs but the new ones are no good I'm going through a warranty process right now and it's a real headache

Oakley jury

I have been a loyal Oakley customer. I have purchased 9 pairs of Oakleys over the years. I bought a pair of Jury glasses and really loved them. But like many others that I have seen reviews for, the right plastic hinge just snapped off and I am trying to find a replacement part but it appears that a replacement part is not available. Very disappointed that I can't use my $300 glasses because there is no $5 replacement part available.

Oakley sunglasses (optical lenses)

My favourite Oakley sunglasses have developed a fault on one of the lenses. I returned them to Vision Express in Uckfield where I purchased them but was told they were out of warranty and I should email you directly.

The Vision Express optician examined the glasses and said that they appeared to be faulty as the layers of optical lenses had come apart and the result was what looks like condensation in the lenses.

I have a number of Oakley sunglasses which have all be fine for many years. These are my favourite pair which I have looked after very carefully.

Please can you let me know if the lease can be replaced and if a charge will be made for this. Alternatively what my options may be?
