We were on NCL DAWN. Our cabin had a bunk bed attached to the wall on one side. Even with the bunkbed folded up on the wall, it was necessary to crawl into and out of the bed from the foot of the bed. This is extremely inconvenient for someone nearing the age of 80.
We went to one of the specialty restaurants, the Brazilian restaurant Moderna. Nearly every selection I made from the salad bar was salty beyond bearing. Every sample of meat I ate was incredibly salty.
I cannot digest milk, so there were no desserts that they could offer me are they and sorbet which is essentially frozen sugar water with a dash of flavor.
It was an incredible waste of time and money to eat dinner in the restaurant. It cannot be that I am the only one feeling that way because there were two other tables in the restaurant that had diners. Otherwise, it was empty.
Recommendation: First of all, don’t sail with Norwegian. No ice in the room. No chocolate on the pillow at night. Every iota of service adds a charge.
