Northpointe Bank should have its license revoked. I have been locked into a mortgage with them since 2007. At that time I was going through a divorce and forced to refinance my mortgage quickly. They took advantage of that situation by charging me an interest rate of 17.9%. During the housing crisis they would not work with me on that interest rate until I found a government official who promised to deal with them if they would not work with me. They dropped it to 10.9%, but got me on refinance fees. I also had an issue where I was not given a tax rebate because they did not use my escrow money to pay my property taxes. It took nearly a year to get them to pay my property tax and they wanted me to be responsible for the late fee charged for nonpayment of my taxes. They did it again the following year. I then had to fight with them for months to get the right to pay my own property taxes. Today, after learning that banks were supposed to assist with covid-19 relief for people in hardship, but just finished a call with them and the woman basically refused to allow me to apply for forbearance.

I would give no stars if possible. This company screwed us for thousands of dollars. William S was unorganized and decided to disappear in the middle of our closing and we ended up losing the house we wanted and North pointe wouldn't reimburse us for our loss that was their fault. Worst first time home buying experience. I'm still working to get those funds back so they have not heard the last of it.

It's difficult to begin to tell our story. The short version is this: The difference between what Sarah B said to get us on board as a customer, and what Jodie Te says after signing the papers, is significant.

This feels like a scam. We feel abused.

Clarity, ease, responsiveness, and know-how in construction loans were sold to us. Now, months into this continually delayed project, suddenly the clarity, ease, customer-friendliness, or even knowing who we are... goes out the window.

We have cause to question both our builder and our bank. In the final analysis, our builder is keeping to the standards he has done for years, which is why he has a reputation for delivering project after project on time, and almost always under budget.

The issue then lies with Northpointe Bank. And specifically Sarah B and Jodie Te.

We have been undergoing a construction project throughout 2021. The loan process was delayed, the building has been delayed, the draws have been delayed, the process for approving draws has been delayed, and the appraisal process has led to further delays, costs, and arbitrary percentages that are inconsistent with a home building project.

The process put forward and required by the bank suggests that they have never worked with a builder or on a construction project. Because of this, delays are endemic and costs are rising through no fault of our builder. Our builder has even kept costs under control during Covid! The bank, however, through their processes and administrative bloat, are seemingly driven to force us to pay out of pocket.

In short, their role in this process has been to ensure that our best interests, financially, are not met.

What this means for them legally, I'm not sure. Morally, however, they have not met any acceptable standard I am aware of. Incompetence and deception is a cost borne by the consumer.

The result to us - after designing our home for a year and going through this process for another year - is that we will never live in the house. We are moving (out of the country, actually). We will sell the house once it is done, although we have no idea when that will be if history is our guide.

I've never written a complaint against a business. Until now.

I write this as a warning to anyone who is sold by Northpointe bank. Work with a local bank. Work with someone you know you can trust. Work with someone who will do what they say and communicate clearly with you from the beginning. Work with someone who has the same standards before and after you sign the contract.

I currently have a mortgage with Northpointe Bank. At the end of 2020 I contacted them as I had received my property taxes and they were past due. The loan officer Kim I have worked with was quick to respond. She worked with the escrow department and sent me a tracking number for the check that was being overnighted to my county for the property taxes. Fast forward to end of year 2021, I received my property tax documents from my county and I was still past due. Not only with the 2021 taxes but the 2020 taxes still had not been paid- even though they had previously told me they had. I once again called Kim and she worked to get the escrow departments to truly care for the issue. The funds for 2020 and 2021 were finally sent to our county- I have verified this through our county this time instead of just trusting Northpointe Bank. I have now received my mortgage statement and my mortgage payment has gone up $600+ a month due to escrow underpayment. The underpayment of escrow was due to the high rise in our taxed over the last few years. Had Northpointe cared for my taxes timely they would have been able to spread the underpayment over the 2 year versus causing it to all be paid back within this year. If you go with Northpointe bank be sure to validate each thing they state they have done. It seems they are missing controls/monitoring around their escrow department as they should know the tax payments are not going out prior to their customers contacting them.

I worked with Krystal Stearns at this location, and it was a terrible experience. I shouldn't even say I worked with her. She ignored me and occasionally responded to my emails for 3 months. I have an email chain going back to June which is basically me asking over and over what the status of my application was. I was tired of being ignored and I was ready to go with someone else and started the refinance process with another bank. Then her assistant, Andrew, called and convinced me to continue to work with the two of them. (I bought my house with her and was refinancing and wanted to use a bank I was familiar with). I promptly responded to their emails and phone calls asking for more information. I wouldn't sign paperwork that was incorrect and was told it was fine and they can't change the information on it until I signed it. I spoke to another mortgage specialist and was told that was not true and I should absolutely not sign anything that has incorrect information on it. Also, I was told by Krystal and Andrew that my husband couldn't be on the loan because he was unemployed and was told by another specialist that was also incorrect. When suddenly the paperwork I wouldn't electronically sign came through in an email as signed, I sent Krystal an email asking about it and saying I was planning on going with another bank. She had the nerve to tell me I was wrong, that it was not electronically signed (even though after I read her email I immediately went back to the document center and it clearly said it was electronically signed by me 10/22) and that she tried to work with me for 3 months and I wouldn't do my part so she was glad to cancel the loan. I felt tempted to forward the email chain to her of me begging her for help, but decided she isn't worth it. I don't want someone else to go through the same disappointment as I did. She is very unprofessional and was downright rude (and wrong) to blame me for her not doing her job.

Awful service. They are behind on our property tax. We only found out about the tax issue because we decided to refinance with them. The refinance started in May, we are now at the end of October and very little has happened. There is an absolute lack of communication on their part. We email and get no response. We request to a phone call and get vague emails. This is awful. Do yourself a favor and get a refinance done through Costco or Quicken Loans.

This bank is ridiculous, failure, and should only get half a star or no star at all. Customer service is horrible, unprofessional, lack of communication, losing documents, and no sense of urgency or caring before the pandemic and they are still doing the same thing while the pandemic and job losses is ongoing. Customer service is small department centered on collections with most of them lacking knowledge. This bank is quick to write and approve loans outside its local area and only cares about collecting money and screwing over homeowners if you are struggling with your mortgage due to circumstances out of their control. I am from the Atlanta area and I will never ever do any type of financing with a small, out of town community bank such as this one. I would recommend the credit union or another bank where the customer service is little bit better and there is more availability to get the necessary assistance. No one should never, ever go to this bank for any type loan assistance. The Complaintsboard.com rating need to change and be lowered.

Don't use Northpointe, they will cost you money! We went with Northpointe Bank for our Home Equity Line of Credit because they were already servicing our mortgage. However, that did not make the process with them any easier. They took over two months to close on our HELOC, in the mean time rates increased and we ended up with a 4.7% interest rate instead of the 3.9% that we were quoted. We should have a 4.45% rate because of their 0.25% reduction rate if you sign up for a checking account with them and agree to automatic payments. I told our lender from day one that we absolutely wanted to receive that reduction and would gladly sign up for automatic payments. Their process was so confounded that each week they asked for a new document, we had to supply more documents to them for the $60,000 of equity that we already had in the house than when we initially purchased the home with a $211,000 mortgage. Due to the fact that the loan officer never gave us the paperwork and never mentioned that we would have to sign up for the automatic payments BEFORE the closing, we have completely missed out on the reduction in rate and the bank will not make any exception for our loan officers mistake. Now we are paying 0.8% more for the same loan all because of their incompetence.

Concerning Northpointe Bank Colorado Springs, CO: I was the seller of a single-family home and Northpointe was the buyer's lender. Originally, closing was estimated at 45 days. It took 4 months to finally close the sale of the home and the buyer's downpayment was around 50%. It was ludicrous and worse, Northpointe would not communicate with my agent. We made repeated appeals to obtain information as the target closing dates kept getting pushed again and again but to no avail. Even the title company was completely in the dark. Silence, absolute silence from Northpointe. I will never recommend Northpointe, nor will I enter into a transaction with a buyer who uses them.

My sincere advice is don't go to Northpointe Bank with your mortgage or refinancing. We had very bad experience with refinancing recently. On April 2nd, we got a call from Northpoint Bank asking whether we have any interest in refinancing from 5.5% to 3.375%? Even though we had not thought about refinancing till then, the option sounded interesting and we started the application with the help of a Northpointe bank rep. We paid $400.00 as application fee. Then appraisal fee of 475.00. Finally after 4 months of paperwork and these much money, last Wednesday, we got a final disclosure with a payment of $360.00 more than the current payment. Totally ridiculous! We have 2 loans with Northpointe Bank which actually got transferred from our mortgage lenders... We are going to refinance with other reputed and reliable banks ASAP. The reason they say for more payment is that our taxes are high, which are escrowed in mortgage. Our financial status didn't change due to covid. Please don't become a victim of Northpointe Bank. Please go through the reviews before you start any processing with this bank. Each penny and each minute is valuable!

Unprofessional lender who did not inform me about critical information that would have helped make a better decision. Currently receiving letters stating that I dont have insurance anf they will make me purchase insurance from them. I do have insurance and, in fact, they contacted my insurance company. I've been trying several numbers and their website to contact them to clear it up. No answer at any number. Worst company I have ever worked with for my mortgage.

This company is despicable. The CORVID-19 outbreak has been a nightmare for all. Banks have suffered the least by far. Why has it taken over a month to be told that I need more information to request a forbearance? I was laid off...turn on the news. We don't have time for this. I need to know where my unemployment money will be going and we can't wait for this unprofessional lack of compromise. There should be a process in place by now to streamline this epidemic, or is this one of those companies that doesn't think it's real? Get you act together and help your clients! I'm sure your bank won't go under if you don't get my mortgage for a few months. Deplorable.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. I've experienced better customer service at*** than I have with this mortgage company. During COVID-19 they refused to help me out when I accidentally missed by payment in February. I was in constant contact with the collections department and made the payment as soon as I could. I am now current on my payments but they REPORTED IT TO MY CREDIT? After calling to get it taken care of, they blamed it on me and said I should've asked for a courtesy extension EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER OFFERED THAT TO ME IN THE BEGINNING. Absolutely misleading like the other reviewers said. I filled out a refinance application within 5 minutes of ending that phone call. I am absolutely disgusted by these people.

Thanks so much for making these hard times even tougher on families just trying to make their payments on time despite not having an income.

Northpointe bank mistakenly paid our homeowners insurance to Am/Fam Connect after we disclosed in our title statements that we wish to forego an escrow account and pay our homeowners insurance and property tax on our own. Then they knowingly sold our loan to PNC in Nov/ Dec 2020 with an escrow shortage. This essentially passed any responsibility for their mistake onto the new lender and they set the escrow and passed the financial responsibility to the borrowers (us). After misleading us in many emails and phone calls, we found out that Northpointe verified the escrow shortage to PNC while telling us that there was no shortage, again not making any attempt to correct their mistake, just compounding the problem. On a follow up call to let us know that Am/Fam Connect is sending us a refund check, we informed them we have spent so much time trying to resolve this issue and felt so inconvenienced by this issue, we decided to pay off the loan in full. The Northpointe customer service representative (Hilary T.) requested that once we receive the refund check, we need to send it to Northpointe for verification. This is after we informed her that amount was already included in the loan payoff to PNC. She still insisted we send the refund check to them upon receipt. This would essentially result in another double payment to Northpointe, without any guarantee that we would ever receive the credit due. Northpointe is the most corrupt financial institution we have ever come across.

Northpointe Bank When COVID started I was furloughed and scared

When COVID started I was furloughed and scared. I called Northpointe Bank who has my mortgage to see what options I had if my pay stopped(I had never been unemployed) Unemployment started and with the bonus I was doing well, financially. I was busy homeschooling two children, caring for a sick father and dealing with remnants of a bad flood. When I realized that my mortgage payments had stopped coming out automatically I called and was informed I had been put into FORBEARANCE! No discussion, no signature, nothing. I spoke with multiple people and no one could explain what happened and I got different answers from every person I spoke to. I made up the payments ASAP(I had enough to do so!) and was assured this would have no impact on my credit or anything moving forward by multiple people as I never wished to be in forbearance or asked for anything to change. This was a lie and not the first. I now have missed payments on my credit report. I am so disappointed and upset.

I have had a mortgage with Northpointe for 4 years with a fixed apr and my payments change every year by over $200 a month up or down, they blame it on my escrow account but taxes and insurance remain the same as when we started this mortgage, I have asked to manage my escrow myself because what family can budget for $200 /mo change in payments because there was a mistake with the escrow department , they want to charge me to do it myself

Summary of my claim: Contact Northpoint April 9 and received an email from *** that school taxes were paid $517.71. So I contacted my tax collector *** and it was determined that $517.71 doesn't match the school taxes of $1523.71. On April 16, I talked to *** and emailed the notice I received of unpaid school taxes. (***) See "April 16th Northpoint Email.pdf" On May 5th, *** forward *** email of a screenshot of a cashed check for $514.71. In the past 2 months I have added the Homestead exemption to my property taxes which decreased them from 25k a year to just over 3k a year. This should also reduce my escrow account and monthly payments. Back in September I spoke with *** and gave her the information needed to update my escrow. Long story short, she was supposed to forward that info to the escrow department and they were going to have it updated immediately. We'll it's been 2 months now, multiple emails, phone calls, and messaging on their website with no response. All I am asking is for my escrow account to be updated so my monthly payments will be lower again. This company is real quick to take your money but as soon as you ask for help, you get ghosted.

I was in the process of refinancing my home with northpointe bank and my broker told us we wouldnt have a payment until 02/2022 he said you will not have to pay December and January house payment because our paper was all in and ready to go I called him on December 8th and he reassured me that everything was good and we wouldnt have a payment until February 2022 so I went on vacation and when I returned we had a late payment on my credit report. I was supposed to purchase a house for my mother in March but now this will hold me back because it dropped my credit score and no one will want to finance me. I think this should be reversed and taken off my credit report so I can continue with my life. Please I need this off my credit report.

This is a formal complaint against FD/NORTHPOINTE BANK located ***. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable account on my credit report and not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have not been able to provide, per the *** Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for several months now, FD/NORTHPOINTE BANK has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit report.

Northpointe Bank Loan abandoned after I had already paid for appraisal

Loan abandoned after I had already paid for appraisal. I am writing this complaint because I have a loan in process with Northpointe that has seemed to be completely abandoned. I haven't heard back from my loan officer in over a month after he gave me the approval on the loan. I have proof of the communication (or lack thereof). I have been waiting for this loan to close since 2019. I paid for my appraisals back in October using a vendor that was approved by Northpointe. The appraisals took over a month to be turned in. After they finally came in I have been waiting to get my loan finalized, and after my loan office said that he got approval he stated he needed a few more docs. I sent him the docs he needed and havent heard back since, and its been over a month. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service here, and I have nothing good to say about Northpointe at all. I was forced to pay for these appraisals and now I'm out the money with no loan to show for it.

Northpointe Bank was my mortgage servicer. Prior to October I made every mortgage payment I had on time. Worth the pandemic I entered a Covid 19 mortgage forbearance program. In May, my mortgage was transferred to another mortgage servicer. For whatever reason, Northpointe has not updated my payment history correctly so on my credit reports there is no history for any of my previous payments AND they reported my mortgage late which was not supposed to happen under the forbearance and this has caused my score to drop significantly.

Northpointe Bank Back in April , I was late in my home monthly payment due to having forgotten to make the home mortgage payment

Back in April , I was late in my home monthly payment due to having forgotten to make the home mortgage payment. I was under the impression that u had made the payment. In late April I received a bank statement and it said my payment was never received for April . I contacted Northpointe bank the following business day so that I could clarify the missed payment as I was still under the impression I had paid. I spoke to a representative and she advice me that as long as I made the payment the following month it wouldn't be a problem. On May 1 I made the payment. I was going to pay for the 2 mints together however their website wouldn't allow me to do that. I had to pay April, then once that payment posted I could pay May . So I did that the next day I noticed that Northpointe had reported a late payment to the credit bureau. I called and spoke to a manager he stated they had called me several times. I never received calls or messages nor any mail advising of being l

Received notification from Northpointe Bank on April 27 that my mortgage was being sold to ***,LLC out of ***, *** on May 4th. First of all, this violates Federal Law with the Federal Trade Commission as you can clearly see that I was not given 15 days notice. Secondly, this mortgage is being sold to a company that at this time has 77 outstanding lawsuits for discrimination practices along with breaking federal collection laws. The Complaintsboard.com rating is 1.04 out of 5 stars and is averaging 451 complaints per month. I called Northpointe to discuss the matter and was told "sorry you didn't receive the notice in time, but they made us an offer for a portfolio we couldn't refuse." Desired Resolution- my mortgage to remain with Northpointe Bank and not be sold to ***,LLC.

There are two issues concerning Mortgage Lending:1. Predatory Lending and 2. Privacy and Date Collection Issues to Ms. Shannon H, VP Compliance - Online Mortgage Application 1. Certain questions can be asked, and should be answered within acceptable standards, 2. Jason S, who has been a bit testy, and not fully disclosing NP procedures, its like pulling teeth - I've had to ask three time for a DTI breakdown, etc. 3. I simply would like clarification on DTI since NP decision is so far off of what other Lenders (***, ***) have preliminarily told me via a soft pull. 4. Had Mr. S reviewed my DTI, (all other lenders have) I would have never applied! 5. I asked to be contacted by someone in NP data integrity department, and Mr. S ignored my request. 6. All of the questions asked after the application could have been answered and resolved prior to any application being processed and a hard credit pulled which I requested of Mr. S

Northpointe bank has submitted on 2 occassions incorrect information to credit bureau this has damaged my credit/caused me to be denied for loans Northpointe Bank has submitted incorrect information about my mortgage loan to credit bureau that I had missed a payment in July when in fact I had paid 14,000 on my interest and never missed a payment. I disputed this on Credit Karma. I applied for a personal loan at BECU on Sept 8 and was denied because Northpoint Bank reported that I had missed my payment in July and my loan was in forebearance. I never have missed a payment so I called North Pointe Bank and asked for immediate correction by giving BECU a letter to correct false information provided and also contact credit bureau. I was told I must provide North Pointe Bank my credit report first? Then the only guy who is able to correct this mistake was on vacation. They have only had my loan for approximately 6 months and I have had 3 problems with incorrect information from April to Sept. NPBank also incorrectly applied my 14,000 on my loan. I had to get this corrected too.

Northpointe Bank Paid my mortgage through on line banking they say it didn't arrive in time my bank disagreed and I was charged a late fee

Paid my mortgage through on line banking they say it didn't arrive in time my bank disagreed and I was charged a late fee. My mortgage is due the first of every month with a grace period until the 16th of each month. I send in a payment so that it reaches them on the 16th. I did this one time and the 16th fell on a weekend which they advised they don't process payments over the weekend so I considered that my fault and paid a late fee. Now I make sure the payment doesn't fall on a weekend and make sure it will arrive on the 16th during the week. This particular payment was sent from my bank on the 15th done by online banking and according to them took 2 days to process, meaning it arrived on the 17th causing a late fee. Their excuse it take the Federal Reserve two days to process it. I called my bank and they advised me that they received it on the 15th. Its online banking I've never had a problem with my bank not getting it to the business on the day I set up. My bank determines how long it will take for them to process the payment and take it out accordingly. I really don't believe their story about the Federal Reserve I've had other mortgages and have never had a problem.

Northpointe Bank Was given misleading info, and not given reimbursement

Was given misleading info, and not given reimbursement. I recently closed on a refi with Northpointe, during the refinance I explained an urgent need to take out cash from the equity due to a recent divorce. I was advised that I should split this into two loans for a better rate, and that there should be no problems. (the company had already pulled my credit before advising this.) the first loan went through and Northpointe sent me a statement stating that I was sent reimbursement for my homeowners insurance that they had collected in the amount of $1.905.96. this was sent over a month ago. After calling I was told they cannot reissue the check for another 3 months (3 months that I cannot be investing this money.) After this I was denied on the second loan after yet another credit pull. I contacted the SAME AGENT and asked if a co-borrower would help. I was told that it could help and that I should reapply. My credit had recently been pulled twice by Northpointe.) After pulling my credit a third time I was told that a co-borrower would not matter since my credit did not meet their requirements, and that a co-borrower could not help with credit scores. I feel like I was tricked into a second loan that I could not qualify for instead of refinancing into a single loan under the initial terms.

Northpointe Bank I pur***d my first home in July

I pur***d my first home in July . My loan was originally through *** but they sold my loan to Northpointe Bank Nov 12, 2021. I had already made my Nov mortgage payment to *** on Oct 29th in the total of $1,373.33 A few days later I start receiving calls from an unknown company by the name of Northpointe bank saying Im late on my mortgage. I made them aware I made my payment to *** and they needed to work together to get it corrected. Every month since November it shows I am a month behind when I have made every payment on time. On top of late fees and hours on the phone they are now reporting me late to the credit agencies and my credit score has now dropped over 120 points. I have tried endlessly to get this corrected and no one wants to help. I have even had them on 3way and northpointe disconnected the call. I am being told several different things such as *** needs to refund me so I can make the payment, then dispute the things on my credit score. Then I am being told *** already transferred them the money. Either way I am still the only one suffering from their lack of accountability. Please help. Northpointe bank loan #*** is also at fault here but seems to have been trying to help more than NorthPointe Bank

Northpointe Bank They could not complete the refi after 3 months and have not given me my $400.00 back

They could not complete the refi after 3 months and have not given me my $400.00 back. On April 3 I started a refinance with Northpointe Bank (Loan no. ***). I completed everything they asked in a timely manner including paying a $400.00 deposit. After after a couple weeks of not hearing anything I start sending emails to get status updates. It was near impossible to get a response most of the time. On multiple occasions I had to email customer service just to get a response because the loan officer did not respond. We missed multiple closing dates and rate locks. I was even told the credit had changed because the rate lock expired. They were never once waiting on anything from me. Finally on July 13 I wrote to the loan officer and told him I would like to close the loan. He responded on July 14th and told me that he is unable to get the loan approved. I then wrote him back on July 14th and asked him if I could get my $400.00 back since they couldnt get it approved and he responded the same day within a few minutes saying he would get me a refund. I followed up on July 16th asking about when I should be expecting the refund and didnt get a response until July 20 saying that he wasnt sure but he would let me know once it is complete. As of today July 28 the loan still shows pending on their website. I requested it be closed on July 13. I have the email between me and the loan officer where he states he will give me a refund.

Northpointe Bank After being approved for a loan and paid the application fee, this bank decides not to lend me the money because of the pandemic

After being approved for a loan and paid the application fee, this bank decides not to lend me the money because of the pandemic. I was shopping for a Refi loan since late 2019. I was contacted by a loan officer at this bank. I explained my situation to them, and they assure me they will be able to help me. I told them I will contact them when I am ready. I then contacted the loan officer to go over the numbers in which I agreed. He asked about my credit, I told him my credit is perfect at over 800. He promised me i would be approved with the terms we agreed after I authorize to do a inquiry on my report. I told him, that the only way I authorize them to pull my credit is to guarantee I would be approved. He kept his promise and got me approved. The issue I am having is that after being approved, the title company was not being efficient in doing the title search, and delayed the process and by the time they was ready, the pandemic hit and the bank now send me a letter stating that they are denying my application and the reason the used was that the loan program is not available any longer due to Covid-19. I then immediately went and applied with a different bank and in less than a month i closed. The other bank I signed with also gave me a better rate. I did everything Northpointe asked me to do. Do not promise me a loan then tell me the program is no longer available after I paid lawyer and a application fees. I am requesting my application fee in the amount of $400.00 and also remove the hard inquiry on my credit report. I have documents supporting this.

Northpointe Bank In November , our mortgage payment increased slightly due to an escrow shortage

In November , our mortgage payment increased slightly due to an escrow shortage. Unfortunately we never received notice of this change from Northpointe. I have our payment set up with our online banking system to go out automatically each month so it is always on time. I received a call from the bank in January. Unfortunately, when you answer a call from them, no on is on the line - you get a garbled recording telling you to call them back which I did. I spoke with a representative, figured out the problem, paid the small deficit, including a late charge and was told all was well. I later realized they'd reported this as a missed mortgage payment to the various credit bureaus which caused an enormous drop in credit scores for myself and my spouse. My *** dropped from 847 to 683 in one day and is now hovering in the low 700's. I attempted to call their service agents, but was told in no uncertain terms that they could do nothing and would do nothing. I was told to dispute it directly with the credit bureaus. We filed 6 total disputes - one each for my husband and me with each of the three bureaus. Northpointe rejected the disputes and would not correct the reporting. I attempted to call again today and was horrified when their automated phone system seemed to patch me in on a call between an agent and customer talking about their loan, closing dates and financial information. I could hear everything clearly and it took several tries to press the appropriate button to be connected with a service agent for my issue. Of course I was told, as always, there were no managers available and I would have to wait for a call back. As of now, that has not happened.

Northpointe Bank I have tried to resolve miscalculated loan payments since November

I have tried to resolve miscalculated loan payments since November. Numourous phone calls and emails caused me to waste so much of my time.My loan was transferred to them from a different company and during the process, what it should have been a transparent transaction but instead part of escrow fund was not moved from one to another. Northpointe informed me of shortage on escrow account after 10 months and informed me of new payment increase. They couldnt figure it out why my accounts did not have enough funds instead I had to research myself and contact the previous company and retrieve the money to make escrow payoff.Ever since then, I had over 30 credits and withdrawals made through my accounts with false amounts. They posted wrong amounts in my account in every wrong way and also.they couldnt figure it out. I had contact them via phone, email but can not get hold of anyone from the actual mortage *** They would only response back after 2-3weeks later. I had to do the full 1 year worth of mortage payment calculation to figure it out since they werent competent to resolve it and finally fixed it but found out my escrow payments were increasing again eventhough I should have over *** sitting in there all of a sudden amount disappeared. As if instead of using proper calculation, they were trying to make numbers posting in and out over 30. Now for the 3rd time, I just found out that after paying 3 months of my interest YTD is only showing 1 month worth and it is now March.I need to know who is auditing this company if this transactions are posting in and out with random amount as if they are trying make the number. Why is this company not being audited properly? If it wasnt for my financial background and research, I would have lost thousands of money 3x in a row. I need someone from mortage dpt to resolve the issue. How can I trust my mortage w a such company.

Beginning around July 15, I was mailed an escrow analysis from my Mortgage Lender, Northpointe Bank, advising me that I would owe a significantly higher monthly payment that what I had been paying since purchasing my property on April 29. Due to the variance, I contacted Northpointe Bank and spoke with a Mr. *** who was seemingly going to help me. I had deduced that Northpointe was calculating my years worth of Property Tax as a quarterly payment, which threw off their calculation when the escrow analysis was completed. Mr. referred me to their "Escrow Specialist", Mr. *** who on July 23 reached out to me advising me that if he reran escrow analysis again, my August 21 increase would actually become even higher, by over $1,000 monthly compared with my normal payment. I reexplained my position that I had contacted the town (provided the email chain to Northpointe with my town) that Northpointe paid for my annual property tax in full, yet they were calculating the full payment as a quarterly payment, which grossly spiked my estimated monthly payment. Over months, we had come to an agreement that because my escrow balance was in the negative from their paying of my property tax in full, that I would continue to pay my normal monthly payment until my balance was in the positive again. This happened once I paid my November Mortgage Payment. However, Northpointe apparently requires $200 in their mortgagees' escrow balance before they will wave escrow. As such, I had to wait another month and make another payment. As of December,15, 2021, I have a surplus of $455.09 dollars in my Escrow Balance . I have followed up with *** and *** on December 3, Dewcember 8, 2021 and December 13 requesting my escrow waiver be executed. No response. Awful customer service and poor treatment of same.

Northpointe Bank They charged me $400 for an appraisal fee upfront during a refinance

They charged me $400 for an appraisal fee upfront during a refinance. They said it would be waived, and refunded back. They have not refunded. In mid-February Northpointe Bank loan officer Mark H (***) contacted me on the phone regarding a drop in mortgage rates and that it may be a good time to refinance my home. I agreed it was, and on Feb 25th started the refinance process. After submitting my initial paperwork and locking in the loan rate, Mark asked me to pay for the appraisal up-front in the amount $400, although he stated that an appraisal will most likely not be needed do to my strong debt-to-equity ratio, and if not needed he would be able to credit me back the fee. In an email on March 4th Mark, confirmed that he received an appraisal waiver and it would save me the money. At this time my assumption was that the $400 would be used towards other closing costs. Over the course of the next several weeks, Northpointe continued to delay working on my loan taking increasing amount of time to respond. Towards the end of April they decided due to Covid related issues that they would not continue with my loan. Meaning I would not have any closing costs for my $400 to be credited to. After waiting some time, assuming my refund would be issued with nothing coming, I then began to contact Mark H on July 16th to request my refund. He responded asking if the appraisal was done, at which time I reminded him of the fact that it wasn't. He responded in July 16th saying he would request the refund to my credit card. Again after waiting some additional time for refund, I contacted Mark again on email 9/24 asking for a status of my refund. He responded on 10/1 saying we will send it over to his manager and will touch base shortly. Since that last email he has not responded to any calls or emails and I have still not seen a refund. Note- that I have 50+ emails of conversations between Mark and myself, not to mention phone calls.

Northpointe Bank Mr C*** sold my mortgage to Northpointe Bank

Mr C sold my mortgage to Northpointe Bank. Northpointe Bank "lost" around $6000 of transactions and re-sold the loan, refusing to update it Mr C sold my load to Northpointe Bank on Information transferred to Northpointe Bank as of March 1 was escrow on the account of $2,614.39 and outstanding balance of $326,403.05 and March 1 payment paid on February 24. Northpointe Bank did not update my account information, they had the account as past due for March and threatened to report me to a debt collector, even though I made my March payment on February 24. Since February, Northpointe Bank continue to refuse to update the transactions on the account and to send detailed transactions from the escrow account and the mortgage. They refuse to send the data packet information that they have received from Mr. C. I spoke with Mr. C who sent the data packet to Northpointe bank tree times and I personally uploaded the transactions document that I received from Mr. C at the Northpointe Bank emails at least 3 times. Moreover, I that Northpointe Bank send all transactions to the loan and the escrow account and updated transaction data and statements more than 10 times and have not received the information requested. Additionally, they sold the mortgage to a different company on April 15 and I received the notification on April 27. Northpointe Bank send incorrect information to the new servicer, (showing shortage of around ~$6000 than what they have received from Mr C and my payment in April ) and not notifying me about the transfer of the loan at least 15 days in advance. I have still not received notification of the transfer from the new servicer although, they should have notified me at least 15 days in advance. I suspect that this transfer is fraud and everything that Northpointe Bank has done is hiding money. Northpointe Bank does not even show April Statement for my mortgage and do not show escrow transactions. As of March 1 when Northpointe started servicing my loan, the balance on my mortgage was $326,403.05 and the escrow account funds had $2,614.39. For more than 4 months Northpointe refused to update the account and as of May 1 they show mortgage balance of $328 663.88 and different escrow information and payment on the web site and on the statement received.
