I just wanted to tell someone about Nissan of Mckinney. I went into the dealership to look for a Nissan Quest but the ones that I test drove did not meet my personal standards. They had a 2007 Nissan Quest with 21,000 miles on it and price it at 26,900, which while doing my research I noticed that other dealers were selling them for 21,000 or so, so anyways when I confronted them about the price they basically just ignored me and put to the side. So anyways they showed me a a 2006 Pontiac Montana with 27,000 miles, nice van. I test drove it and liked it and went in to negotiate the price. The Finance Manager Mitch wrote down 1000 down 545 a month, I thought it was a good deal so I signed by it. They proceeded with making copies of my drivers licenses and insurance and had me sign a few pieces of paper. I had to leave but was to return the next day. I called the next day and asked was everything okay, I talked to Mitch again and he stated that everything looked good and for me to pick up my van. So I went in and they told me to go to the finance department and the guy there said Ms. Gray we got you approved but we will need a extra 1500 to make the deal. I was like what are you serious, far from the 1000 down. So needless to say I got up, went and found my keys and drove home. And still to this day, no-one has contacted me at all to find out what they could do to help or anything, I ended up complaining to the Customer Support Manager. Also from other witnesses they tend to put you in a car and then three or so days later they inform you that your loan didn't go through. So beware of Nissan of McKinney.

I had my car in for an oil change in June of 2012. Had been having problems with low oil after that. Nissan told me it would be a full day to look at why. I decided to take it some where else when he drained the oil it was very dark and looked like it had not been changed at all. I was also told that he didn't think they put enough oil in and that's why the light was telling us low oil, as well as not showing on the dip stick.

Agree with the last post. I had an awesome experience with my sales man Alex. Such a great sport. Hispanic guy. Everything went great smooth and easy buying experience. I would deff reccomend him. His number for you all [protected]

Well, after reading all these comments I feel a little disturbed. I guess you could find all of this at any dealership and the only ones who are going to comment on sites like this are the ones that are pissed off. With that being said, I would like to say I had a great experience at Nissan of McKinney. If you get the chance to work with Grady go for it. He made the process easy and he really got us excited about buying a new car. After we purchased, he called to make sure everything was going well and when we had a problem with our tint he had it fixed and a loaner car setup for us while they worked on it for free. I love my new Nissan and we have recommended Grady to everyone we know. So for everyone reading these complaints, please take them with a grain of salt and don't believe every bad thing you hear.

We should call the BBB however I think they may be corrupt as well, taking money for ratings and such. There is not such thing as a good used car buying experience. The process sucks and the sales people are all crooks. You have to learn to tolerate it, expect it, and f*** them over as much as possible on your purchase.

Yes, this dealer sucks balls! We had an issue on a vehicle there this past weekend. Sales manager Jimmy is a stupid piece of ### who treats people like idiots.

I recently purchased an altima coupe from Nissan of Mckinney. At first the sales person seemed so friendly but once I drove the car back home, all problems started. I started having so many issues on the car.The sales manager Jimmy Williams is extremely rude and has no etiquettes of talking to people at all. They are absolute liars. I would not recommend anyone to do business with them.

I went to Nissan of McKinney 11days ago signed the deal for a 2007 Nissan Sentra had the battery replaced it also had a bald tire then Monday they told me the financing hadn't gone thru yet which I was told the first day it was so I said ok I have had several problems already put me in another car they would not so I said no deal. From day one the sales guy Preston the finance guy mike and vincent head of operations lied to me I hope no one shops there they are all liars and very shady not sure how they sleep at nite I pray for u guys that ull change ur lying ways

I can believe all of these complaints and attitudes from this dealership as recently they have been harassing me via my cell phone to come pick up a title which is their ploy for selling, in this case, a truck to a guy named Norm. I have been harassed for the past two weeks and just finished registering a complaint with the Federeal No Call Registry since "Hank" the initial person to call me said that he could not gaurantee that they would not continue to call even though I told them there was no "Norm" here to come by and pick up the title.

I bought a Pre-Owned Certified Nissan Sentra 2007. Nissan of McKinney charged me $2500 since it was a certified car. First week the car died, since then and this car is gone to the dealership many times see below.

Every time i take the vehicle there, once come back there's something else, the car is very unreliable, and Nissan say they have done 146 point inspection on it before they sell it to a customer.
When talk about replacing vehicle, I owe more on the vehicle then its worth and ended up losing more money. They should be courteous enough to replace the vehicle, but Nissan of McKinney really sucks. I am not getting any Nissan for rest of my life and all the advice this to friends, family and co-workers.
This record is not up to date; my car is still at the dealership with steering issue.

The GM/Owner, Chris Godwin, refused to honor a written price quote on a Nissan Altima. After being asked further how he could not honor the written quote that his dealership gave us and was signed by the Sales Manager, the GM/Owner, Chris Godwin, became angry with us and told us to go buy the car at another dealership as he "didn't even want to sell us the car because we were questioning his integrity and that made him mad." In my opinion, Nissan of McKinney and Chris Godwin both have extremely dishonest business practices!

I took my Murano to Nissan of McKinney several months ago for a diagnostic to see what was causing accelerator hesitation. The ran their superior diagnostic and told me my transmission was shot as well as my differential. They told me it would cost around $8000 dollars for repairs. I ended up taking my car to Bankston Nissan for another opinion. They ran a diagnostic on the Murano and could not find anything wrong with the transmission.

I received an extended warranty from Nissan Motors which would cover the transmission up to 120, 000 miles. I called Nissan of McKinney letting them know I would be bringing my Murano in for the transmission repair they claimed I needed so badly. I told them I have the paper work which states I need transmission repair. I was told they would have to run another diagnostic to see if it really needs repairing. Funny how they were happy to take $8000 for absolutely nothing. I believe this Service department has criminal elements in charge.

This dealership should be avoided at all costs. They sold me an extended warranty and when I sold the vehicle some portion of it should have been refunded. I applied for the refund which was promptly and conveniently lost, I applied a second time and was then told that there was no extended warranty. But my contract has a $2, 700 charge for that. These people should be investigated for criminal fraud.

They sold me a top-of-the-line extended warranty and told me that it would cover even wear & tear items such as brakes, etc. When I got the paperwork, I read that the truth is that wear & tear is NOT covered at all. If something wears out, it's outside of the scope of the warranty.

My husband and I went to Nissan of McKinney to get a recall fixed on my Altima. While we were waiting, we started talking to Tarek about the rebates. He told us there was a $7000 rebate on Armadas, Pathfinders, Frontiers and Titans. We picked out a Pathfinder, test drove it, parked it around the side, then went inside to negotiate. They were trying to work us a double deal on the Pathfinder and a Titan. My husband picked out a Titan he wanted, but the salesmand kept pushing another Titan on him. He just basically would not listen to us and kept telling us he couldn't do the double deal with the Titan my husband wanted. He would disappear for long periods of time and after 4 hours of this back and forth, he told me another salesman had sold the Pathfinder I was trying to get financed. This salesman had taken the keys off the desk when we were looking at the Titans and sold it out from underneath me! I went off on the salesman ( I didn't catch his name, a little short guy w/ red hair) and my husband and I left. Tarek chased us out the door telling us he would find me another Pathfinder just like it. My husband and I left and I will NEVER go back there for ANYTHING! He was still calling on Monday trying to get us to make a deal. He had told me that Wells Fargo, whom I have my car financed thru, would not pick up the loan on the Pathfinder. I called Wells Fargo on Monday and they told me they had no problem financing me a vehicle. They informed me that dealers have certain banks they use that will give them "kickbacks". I thinks Nissan of Mckinney is one of the most crooked dealers around and I'm thru w/ them.

I used to work for Nissan of Mckinney. The inside phrase at that store is Get ALL THE MONEY. They make an average of five to seven thousand dollars profit off each car they sell. They give way below blue book value for trades and sell them for premium or way above retail value. Thewarrantee they sell is more expensive than the nissan warrantee and does not cover near as much. They will tell you they can only get you a certain percentage rate on finance. However it is regular practice to tell you about 2 points higher than the bank approved. They get a kick back from the bank and you get higher payments. I left that company because they wanted me to start treating service customers the same way. I cannot work for a dishonest company. As for what is right when purchasing a car. Some people need a certain payment, some need a certain sales price and some just need a certain type of vehicle so the rude outspoke person needs to mind his own business.

They will also bully you into getting their extended warranty in order to get a "decent" financing rate. Have financing already before you even think about going there.

I had a great experience there. I tell everyone I know. We were treated great. They gave us the best trade in than anyone else.
