Nike a sad goodbye to nike

I remember my 1st pair of nike white tennis shoes with the light blue stripe. Great memories for the last 45 years or so. Regretfully, I will no longer purchase anymore of your products or services. The company has decided to take a political stand over the last few years and I do care for the way you have alienated patriotic, family oriented, law abiding citizens. Apolitcal should be your position. If you want to do something of value, support veterans and widows and widowers of police officers slain on the job.

Nike colin kaepernick "just do it" campaign

I was in the Air Force for 23 years, and flew 4200 hours in the E-3 AWACS. While in the Air Force, I served alongside all different kinds of Americans: black, white, brown, young, old, rich, poor, men, women, Christians, Jews, atheists, you name it. We all wore the same uniform and we all put aside any political differences when we did so. We all wore the flag on our uniforms because we believed in what the flag stood for: equality and freedom! We knew the USA wasn't perfect, but we also knew that each year we were getting better, because we stood TOGETHER. That's why we were getting better. We were all fighting for the same thing, as a team. When we would deploy we were proud to be Americans because most of the people in those countries also wanted what OUR FLAG stood for: equality and freedom. What country has a perfect past? None, including ours. But they knew that the US was the BEST country at always trying to get better at equality and freedom.
I am very sadden that you have chosen Colin Keapernick as a face for one of your campaigns. This is an individual who has chosen to sit during our National Anthem which is a symbol of our freedom. A symbol that so many have dedicated and given their lives for in many different ways. I am saddened to think of little kids, wearing your Nike wear, and now they might think it's cool to sit down for the flag too (Kaepernick did it and Nike promotes him).
All I can tell you is that it makes me very sad and disappointed as an American Veteran that you've quit, if that's what it means when you take a knee.
When I came through the gate of Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma this morning, its was about 5:30 am and dark outside. There were two armed enlisted young troops at the gate, checking IDs, wearing the flag, ready to protect us. They'd probably been up for several hours already, earning a very small paycheck. One was black and one was white, but they were united, ready, vigilant, and STANDING UP!

Nike stick to making shoes

I am deeply offended by you choice to use Mr. Kaepernick to market your products. Why would you purposely offend millions of your customers? My family will never again wear or purchase a Nike product. Epic fail!

So, I need more words to tell you disappointed I am with your company? you have offended a very large segment of your base. Do you think the majority of all football players agree with what Kaepernick has done to the game? Stupid move on your part..

Nike New ad with Kaepernick

I am disgusted with the new ad that you are using involving Kaepernick! I have worn nike's all my life. I will never buy them again for myself or allow my family to buy them. He is a poor example for youth and all american citizens! If you do not want to live in this country... Leave! How dare you use someone who does not respect and disgraces our flag! Shame on you nike! Who is in charge of your ads? They are pathetic am amazed at the people who complain about our county and our president. I did not like obama, however, I respected his position and our country enough to not let my personal views affect his role... Boooooooo nike! You just did it!

Nike colin kaepernick

Well you finally have lost my business and I just sold all of my stock because of your decision to have Colin Kaepernick as a spokesman. I have been a loyal customer of your brands since the early 80's have always purchase your products and never ever complained about the price. I've owned your stock since the early 90's and as of this morning I cashed in took my profit and will NEVER EVER purchase another Nike product. I was shocked you would have him and his stance as a face of your brand. I personally think your BRAND will take a major hit just as the NFL has.

Good luck and you can stop making one less pair of 10.5 shoes to save money.

Nike colin kaepernick as spokesperson

As someone who has been very loyal to Nike and its products for the past 30 years in purchases for myself and my family, your decision to make CK your new spokesperson will eliminate me from ever being a future customer.
I probably spend between $800 and $2, 500 each year on your products annually, but I will now move to another brand who makes better choices in who they align with.
I recognize CK's right to protest, but I also recognize consumers have the same right to disagree. I have long been a fan of your Jordan line, but will happily depart from that as well.

Nike advertisement with colin k

Seriously Nike. He was not that good of a player to begin with. Pride in my country and my flag. I have famiky members that have fought for and shed blood for the honor of saluting the flag. MY grand children stop what they are doing and put their hands in their heart when our great Countrys anthem is played. Ever see a USMC base play ground when they play are taking the flag down at night EVER chikd stops. Pride. NIKE you no longer have any and as much as this RN enjoys the comfort of your shoes they have been thrown away! I will nurse with out them. And yes I have work a good share of my nursing at The SICU in Little Rock AR VA hospital. Pride for my Veterans. Not for a over privileged- ok football player. Disappointed. You need to redeem yourself. Bad decision.

Nike colin kaepernick

You picked the wrong role model to represent your company. No one can stand a privileged whiner who had more opportunities given to him in life, and then starts to complain about the very country that provided all this to him. Nike has earned it's reputation through hard work and civil business practice. The OPPOSITE of Colin Kaepernick.
I'm NOT purchasing any of your products until you ditch this idiot to represent your company.

Nike ad campaign.

I have purchased Nike shoes for 35 years; two pairs just a few weeks ago.

What a poor decision to sponsor Kap in your new ad campaign. Free speech is a right, free speech at work is not and I do not wish to see political demonstrations in my entrainment choices.

I will be a former customer till you show some respect for those of us that are like minded.

Nike nike

I am a retired disabled military veteran who closet is full of Nike clothing. I even have the Nike desert boots for when I was deployed in the Middle East. I did have a lot of Nike stock which I will no longer have. The company made a horrible decision to have that man the face of there company. My family will no longer wear anything that has a Nike symbol on it and will burn all of our Nike clothing. I sure hope the company goes under and the NFL and the NBA change brands for there uniforms. RIP Nike

Nike advertising using colin kaepernick

Nike's choice of using Colin Kaepernick for their advertising is absolutely terrible and a slap in the face to all true American Patriots. With all the great athletes to choose from, Nike chooses this loser. I, along with many others, are through with Nike. My Nike products are being returned or destroyed. Nike should be ashamed and whoever is in charge of their advertising should be fired.

Nike signing of kaepernick

This is not the way the majority of our country feels. No one in our family will ever wear Nike shoes while your company endorses him. Sad very sad with your decision. The younger generation is needing guidance anyway and this is not the answer. The flag and respect is something passed down to generations to come. Please reconsider this decision. I know that I am not alone with your decision on this.

Nike colin kaepernick ad

Nike has joined in the disrespecting of the flag, which represents the men and women who have fought and died...to give people, like Kaepernick, the very freedom they enjoy..and, now abuse.

With four adult children, and six grandchildren, all of whom have worn Nike products for many years:
WE WILL ALL BAN ANY NIKE PRODUCT, AND GET RID OF THOSE WE OWN.
THERE ARE MANY OTHER GREAT SPORTING GOODS COMPANIES! THAT WILL EQUAL THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.

WE MAY ONLY BE ONE FAMILY...BUT, HOW MANY MORE AMERICANS ARE DISGUSTED AND WILL DO THE SAME?!

I have worn nothing but Nike athletic shoes for 33 years. Your decision to put a piece of garbage like Colin Kaepernick in your add makes me question your companies leadership and integrity. I want nothing else to do with your company and neither will any of my family of five. It will be easy since Under Armour supports our local university we will do business with them. I'm not sure who's idea it was to do this ad, but I would terminate them.

Nike your campaign ad

Dear Nike:
Your new campaign: "Believe in something. Even if it means you sacrifice everything." Really? The person you chose to represent this statement sacrificed everything? Did he REALLY? WHAT—pray tell—does everything mean to YOU? I know what "sacrifice everything" meant to Pat Tillman.
The person you chose: His behavior is divisive, disrespectful and incredibly offensive…to ALL of those, like Pat Tillman, who really DID sacrifice everything. The behavior of your person also offends those Veterans, like myself, who were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, and who served our country—not disrespected and divided it.
All your person has done is take a knee, and disrespect the ONE thing that unites us all: Our flag and our anthem. You clearly have no idea how OFFENSIVE his behavior truly is to America's Military and its Veterans.
As such, my wife and I are returning EVERYTHING we own that has your brand, and we shall not purchase anything from you again until such time you either rethink your campaign message, or you rethink the person you have representing the campaign.
Pat Tillman is a true American and HE is the one you should honor. We watch football to be entertained and NOT watch anyone's personal protest. If any of us did what he did—at our work—we'd be fired. And so, now… in that very spirit, my wife and I are firing YOU.

Nike products come from Veitnam. The way the Veitnam Vets were treated when they came home should make people want to destroy and stop buying Nike products. Put the spotlight on the fact you are dishonoring American Vets. Be an American and stop supporting Veitnam by buying Nike..

Nike colin kaepernick ad

just to let you know that I've got 3 boys and we always bought them nike clothing / gear for sports, back to school, etc.
that's all about to change...never again nike - you blew it big this time
seriously though, what are you thinking? trying to make this guy out to be a hero or a martyr? he's an overpaid whiner who has no idea what it's like to have to work for anything and yet I'm supposed to look up / respect this guy? I respect the military, the veterans, the patriots who served this country and you should too.
I can't wait to watch your sales plummet after this goof...
way to go, and whoever is in charge of your advertising should be fired as well...
I'm disgusted by what you stand for.

Nike your choice of spokesperson

I Guess my family has bought their last pairs of Nike's.
Why would you hire Colin Kapernick?
You are NOT an AMERICAN company if you support someone that Kneels during our National Anthem.

My Father fought. I have fought for this country and supporting that is not helping this country. It is hurting it and I never thought Nie would be a part of something like that.

I guess Adidas makes nice shoes too.
Your loss.

Nike advertising

Just touching base with you regarding Colin Kaep. It is unfortunate that you would endorse this individual as someone our youth should be looking up to. His disrespect and protest for the American flag has no association with his perceived social issues and perceived social injustices. That you would attach your brand to his falling star is remarkable.

I have 6 children. I also have 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Combined we have 73 children, 37 grand-children, 14 great-grand-children and counting. When you do something good you may end up telling 1 or 2 people. When you do something wrong we will tell 10-15 people (or more) and they in turn will share the negative feedback and so on, and so on. Do the math. We will never buy another Nike branded product. I know our purchasing power is meaningless to a company as big as yours but it is my hope there will be millions joining me. Hopefully our voices will continue to be heard in your sliding quarterly's and stock price.

Nike kaepernick ad campaign

Through the years, I have bought numerous Nike products for my wife and I, for children and grandchildren. Since you have chosen to use Kaepernick in you new ad campaign, I will not be buying any more products from Nike. In my opinion, this is a slap in the face to most Americans who honor and respect our flag, our heritage, our freedoms and our country. I'm so thankful to live in a country with a free market system. I can choose to spend my money where I want, and there is not anything Nike has that I can't buy at many other places. It never ceases to amaze me how companies want to offend their customers.

My fist pair of athletic shoes were Nike. I bought a USED pair from a friend of mine because I couldn't afford a new pair at the time. I was just 17. I'm 63 now. I've had dozens of pairs over the years. For both me. Then my young children. And now my kids, kids. However, my love of the product will NOT trump my love of the flag and this country. NEVER. You have made a grave error my friends. Your support for this clown will NOT without consequences. I will never, EVER buy another Nike product. EVER! Bad move on your part.
