All I posted was about a specific pillow brand I had before and was trying to find out where to get another one.

When I edited it to give more information, Nextdoor wouldn't let me. Then I saw this red line saying I couldn't post it. That was all she wrote because, next thing I knew, my account was suspended.

Now, today, when my suspension is over, I tried to go into my account. But Nextdoor wants me to tell them what the name and information about my business is. I don't have a business, but, in order for me to get back in, I gave them a name and picked a category. Then they wanted my address and phone no. It all seems a bit hokey to me.

This was my second suspension. My first was for putting the link to a missing cat from lostmykitty.com. I was informed, that time, that they don't allow soap box tactics. Yet, I have and others have put that same website link in the comments and not been suspended for it. We did this to help those who lost their cats.

I wouldn't bother, but I just made a new friend there and we were supposed to get together. First to give her some cat food and secondly to visit each other.

Oh. And get this. Now I know you know what a Main Coon cat is, right? Every time I tried to post about my Main Coon cat, that died some years ago, I would get a pop up telling me I was not to use insensitive words.

Their word search, or whatever it is, leaves a lot to be desired.

One other post that might have gotten me suspended was about who was running for the primaries here in MN. I only stated one of the candidates, I was sharing about, had answered my email within 24 hours.

The Administrator, Donna Cunningham has for years been bullying people with her remarks and messages on Nextdoor. I know for a fact there have been numerous complaints written about this person and these complaints have been sent to the headquarters in San Francisco to no avail. I myself was recently discriminated against and basically harassed as a disabled person by this Administrator. Recently one of the Administrator's "friends" posted a highly insensitive post towards handicapped people. I used that post to raise awareness of limited people and asked readers to be ''kind, cognizant and humble'' of others who have physical disabilities. I was careful to express my opinion respectfully and people commented to thank me for raising awareness and doing it in a positive, respectful way. I, in no way, "bashed" anyone nor was I mean spirited. In fact, I took great care to be respectful as my whole point was to raise awareness for disabled neighbors and I didn't want people focusing on negativity. Shortly after my post, I received a direct message from the Administrator stating; "I had a valid point and that she was "sorry" for my disability but asked for me to delete my message because it was clear to her that I was "after" a person named" Karen" that had written the initial insensitive post and asked that I delete my post as it was mean spirited to this "Karen" person that I don't even know. I declined to delete my post. I told her I had no intention of bashing anyone, especially this "Karen" person whom I have zero knowledge of. I went on to express my disappointment that her message to me only substantiates the bias against the handicapped. This Administrator for years has been using Nextdoor as means to bully, intimidate and discriminate against people. Her circle of friends, whom are repeat offenders of inappropriate postings, are allowed to constantly bully people and downright harass anyone that has a different opinion. They've used Nextdoor as a means to post whatever they want and will openly crucify people they don't agree with. Nextdoor could be a wonderful means of bringing a community closer together in a positive, productive manner. Unfortunately in our neighborhood's case, it's used to intimidate and demean people.

I would like to make a formal complaint regarding false allegations which have been made on your app by two of your users in order to tarnish the name of our school and of some staff members. These allegations are entirely inaccurate, but they have the desired effect by the accusers of garnishing public support and damaging our school’s reputation.

I feel that your app does not protect people or schools from the damaging and often inaccurate information, which is posted on here, and this promotes others to respond, fuelling the disgruntled person’s anger. This does not support that person’s wellbeing and most certainly provides a platform for defamation. I would expect this to be investigated fully and specific people’s names and the school’s name removed immediately.

Worst social media platform I have ever come across. Their moderators apply a two tiered system. 1 Tier is that if you are a leftist nothing you post will be viewed under the listed guidelines as long as they maintain their ideological purity. The 2nd Tier is that if you don't hold the ideological (Leftist) view of your moderator you will be hit with multiple posts in clear violation of the community guidelines. If you point out the hypocrisy or respond in kind your account with either be disabled or deleted and probably without any notification as to why and no recourse either. The internet is a better place without this forum.

I was flagged for My comment after I was insulted. I wonder about the person who Insulted Me. I also want to complain about the people that You allow to make cruel comments to others. I didn’t notice their comments being flagged. I wonder if it’s my political view point? If so please let me know and I will leave.

Next door states you can post about things that matter to where you live. This is an absolute lie. They only allow you to post if what you post fits into the chosen narative of the democrats and socialist/communist agenda. However if you attempt to post any form of information that disputes what they have chosen as their assigned narative, you have your posts removed and account disabled. They also allow the people who are left leaning to insult, and verbally attack the people who dont agree yet if that person responds in kind, they are then the one who has their account disabled. IT is a communist run organization that censors anyone who does not agree with them. 100% anti-american... they along with 90 % of the ways social media is today in america.

My Account is Disabled for a violation of this Community Guideline, but nobody tells me what guideline I violated and how. Arbitrarily kicking me from the forum is a violation of my rights of freedom of speech. Also if I am accused of something, I need to know exactly what I did wrong. I am not a child, you cannot put me in a corner without explanations!

Nextdoor suspended my account because they claim I am abbreviating my last name. My last name is An. It is Korean and NOT an abbreviation.

I contacted them and got no response.

I have been suspended for the 6th time for "Public Shaming." Once because I copy and pasted someone's comment stating she took chances on her cats life in Coyote territory because he likes it outside then I followed by REALLY? Then I got suspended for posting i was suspended! WHY? Another time it was because I called a lady "Captain Obvious." REALLY NEXTDOOR? What a horrible mean person I am calling someone such a mean vulgar name! I have alot of followers on NextDoor, have created 4 Groups one with over 1000 members so there were several people standing up for me to the Captain Obvious lady and they got suspended too!

Now I'm suspended for life and I have zero clue why. I'm hardly on there anymore and haven't made any posts. The only comments I've made was advice and help offers to people with missing cats!

Any class action suits out there?

I called a lady out on nextdoor for wasting my time , not keeping her word, and then lying about it. She contacted me to buy something, set up a time then ghosted me until I called her out. People need to be called out on this because it is disrespectful and wastes people time. She then lied about why she didn't contact me. Nextdoor neighbor allow her to do this but then punishes me by disabling my account.

Does nextdoor allow their employees to not follow thru and lie without them calling them out! Total hypocrisy.

Today there was a suicide threat on Nextdoor’s app. I contacted a lead so he/she could call Nextdoor (since they have the address of every user) and get a well fare check sent out to this user.

The “Leads” don’t even have a phone number. How is this a neighborly app if we can not assist our citizens effectively.

They have a no-customer-contact business model that is antithetical to being a neighbor. This company is not only biased, but self-serving. This person may very well die. If I see his name in the obituaries, I will not hesitate to contact the media and authorities so everyone is aware of their complacency and apathy towards its users.

They are violating free speech ...I am not using any racial slurs or cuss words...I just post my views like everyone one else...I keep it clean and do not bully but yet because I don't agree with some they flag my posts and get my acct disabled...Others can be down right crude and bully and not get their acct disabled.. Just happens to me again July 4 2022..My posts have been taken down...

I have tried for a week to post something for sale on the Nextdoor app. Every time I select the picture of the items the app locks up and will not go to the next screen. I’ve contacted support and have completed all steps they suggest and still cannot list anything bulecuase I can’t get past the pictures being posted. They say to use different browser but I use an iPhone and always have. I like using Safari. This used to work and just stopped.

Sarah Friar (or Admin), I am complaining about the Racial targeting and Harassment of me that continues on Nextdoor. I'm in the city of Murfreesboro, TN. There is a person that calls himself "lead" on this site--he has altered my posts, colluded with others on the site to harass me (then, "they" vote to have my posts removed AFTER others have violated Nextdoor guidelines), and occasionally will walk or drive by my home to "mean mug". We have video of his antics, but it is difficult to prove Why he does these things. "HELP?"

"They" have temporarily suspended my account...even stated I can have access on (6-19). ...Juneteenth--Yes, "They" really added this to my account. I am a Black Man.

On next door if you read a comment that you may have a different opinion on, and there are others seeking further information on the matter, if you reply with information that is not the assigned narative that is being pushed. So to give an opinion that contradicts the original post, you will be met with insults, trolling, and bullying.. But if you can stand up to those against you, if your a better debater, if you have better information, and can provide proof, that's when you will have your account disabled. The ones who began the hostility are not the ones who's account is disabled.. Nextdoor allows the hostility to continue as long as the person that is using the popular narative is having more success with their side of the debate, butic the person with opposing view is winning then they silence that person... Totally onesided... Always...

Dear Nextdoor,

You closed my account and have given me the "opportunity" to get back in if only if I agree to your posting guideline terms.

I agreed some time ago and YOU kicked me off. I DID NOT VIOLATE any of your terms. Everything I posted was timely and accurate.

My postings:

- were respectful.

- did not discriminate.

- accurately covered important topics in the right place.

- postings that related to commerce were submitted appropriately.

- used my true identity./

- did not engage in harmful activity.

What I posted was timely, factual and related to our community.

The only complaints that came in were from those who did not agree with my timely and factual messages related to our community.

These same people who complained about my postings have openly attacked a number of neighbors in effort intimidate them and have posted lies. Someone may want to argue that they may have been "misrepresenting the facts", but, given the facts, they are LIES.

I have tried to complain, however your mechanism to register concerns and possible complaints leaves alot to be desired.

Thank you for your timely response and reopening my account. Failure to reopen my account immediately will result in filing a complaint with the FCC as well as the BBB.

The end of march, I hired handyman Jeremiah Epperson, with renovation concepts/coolscapes to do some odds and ends around my home. I am a senior citizen and need someone to help out. The list should have taken two days of work. He showed up one time in a month and a half, always having an excuse! I finally fired him on May 13, 2022, and hired another handyman off from Nextdoor which turned out to be a very good decision! He owes me $600 and refuses to give it back. (Jeremiah charges $75 per hour and my new guy charges $5 and always shows up up on time! I filed with small claims court and need to send him the paperwork, certified. He refuses to give me his address. I have spent many fees on this case already and now am afraid I need to hire a private detective, and a process server. What a nightmare this has been. I just don't want anyone else on Nextdoor to go through what I am. Please take him of your "good list"! I have many people texting me thanking me for doing this.

I want to know where we can make it a complaint against next door? I want to know how we can get in touch with the actual person on Nextdoor? Y’all are trying to police too much about what we respond to and how we respond to it.

My account was disabled due to public shaming. I posted a picture of a protest that featured a person dressed up in a Mickey Mouse costume. Because he was wearing a MAGA hat, the post was deleted. I tried to get my account deleted, not suspended. Here is the response.
