Nextdoor is very biased to conservatives that use this app. The users harass, call us derogatory names as well. One “reviewer” actually “liked” a comment where a friend was called a bigot by a liberal for absolutely no reason. They suspended my friend for a reason that was completely invalid. This is a common pattern on Nextdoor of suspending users especially conservatives for unjustified reasons. Meanwhile the behavior of liberals goes untouched even though they harass and get downright abusive in their personal attacks.

I recently asked a question to my neighbors about a documentary and what they thought of the documentary. I wanted to have a discussion on the topic. I was harassed and accused of being a qanon which I’m not. They started posting all kinds of false information that was off topic. I finally had to delete the post. Then I got a notice it was removed after I removed it. Nothing but hatred and harassment on Nextdoor. Stay Away!

I had solar panels installed last year (2022) by Our World Energy. Everything was fine until the enormous snowfall Flagstaff experienced this past winter. The snow on my roof avalanched off and destroyed my neighbor's fence. I have attempted to contact Our World Energy with a request to move the solar panels to the opposite side of the roof without success. I indicated that I was willing to pay to have the solar panels moved to the other side of the house so that future damage would not occur to anyone's property. I left a daily voice mail message from 6/22 - 6/30 without any response from the company. Apparently, Customer Service with Our World Energy ends with the installation. Very disappointing.

I have had my account disabled indefinitely for a second time, right after having served a year suspension. I get constantly attacked, harassed, belittled and bullied simply for stating an opinion different from the like minded groupthink that is NextDoor. I try to moderate my own comments to make sure they are OK and delete some that may be controversial and yet I get suspended. I don't get it and maybe never will. I am tired of always never knowing if what I am saying will get me kicked off NextDoor or not. It is very exhausting and wrong. I have no idea what to do but try and get my account reinstated. I don't understand the mods and there is never consistency at all. I am at my wit's end.

I keep seeing original (not replies) NextDoor posts 1, 2, 3 days after they are posted. These are posts that were made on one day but do not show on ND until a couple days later. Once we see some of the news such as warnings, etc. it's too late. What's going on? We don't want to see old, outdated news that is time sensitive.

I have been posting to the app for some time now. I have just yesterday been the target of harassment by whomever is the administrator of the app over a post that was not an acceptable view of other members on the app. I was publicly shamed by a few other members of next door on my post and reported the comments with zero response from the administrator. I have noted though that the administrator has muted almost all of my comments and even deleted and then reactivated my account without my knowledge. I feel like I am being targeted by the administrator for a personal issue that I am unaware of

For years I have been complaining to Nextdoor about bullying and biased leads removing my posts (which are withing te guidelines) but leaving up the unpleasant, disrespectful and bullying posts.

It has now got to the stage that Nextdoor simply does not respond to my messages and complaints.

If you want to talk about fluffy kittens, this is the site for you. If you enjoy being bullied and defamed, go right ahead and join.

If you wish to be treated with equality, fairness and courtesy - stay well clear.

I have no clue which Offense I committed, which isn't fair at all. I want them to reinstate me ASAP. I will be reporting this to the BBB of Florida.

My account was disabled for “misinformation “ according to NextDoor administration. I have written nothing containing misinformation. It is simply my opinion. NextDoor censors any statement that is contrary to their liberal philosophy. I never see the liberals on there disappear. What else should we expect from SF based app? The suspension happened on March 20, 2023.

We in Hemet CA, Valle Hermosa HOA community, find ourselves under the thumb of people controlling our posts. The two of them work for and/or with the HOA. This, to us, is a blatant conflict of interest. They allow no criticisms of the HOA’s Board of Directors. They do not allow the residents to communicate with each other via the Nextdoor platform, our concerns, fears, and anxieties, for which the Valle Hermosa B of D is responsible.

We do not know how or who appointed them the gatekeepers of Nextdoor. They abuse our right to speak our minds, without vulgarities or threats, on a public site. I request an investigation into their unethical practices.

This is the third time I have been suspended and I have not once broken their guidelines. During a discussion I was in, as were several others, about our CA being asked to resign I had a lady ask what my race was. I asked her why that mattered. She said I didn't have a right to an opinion BECAUSE IM WHITE! I responded that I guess pulling the race card was the only defense she had. Suddenly. I am suspended again. The last time was because I used the word thug and was called a racist.

Nextdoor accused me of being transphobic. Then they locked my account. They slandered me. I never said such a thing.

I posted no such thing, no word of anything hate on transgender.

I posted an article about a teacher in Minnesota that is facing a federal crime for hiding a questionnaire sheet from the student's parents. I had every right to post it as it fell under local neighborhood and crime.

I think Elon Musk should take over Nextdoor, as Nextdoor like Twitter, silences people, unless you are of certain type.

I am looking into filing a class action lawsuit against Nextdoor. Anyone interested?

I have been using the Nextdoor App for several years and enjoyed it. That has changed in the past few months. I live in a city with a progressive mayor and circuit attorney. Our CA has been called out by the courts, judges, etc. and does an awful job. Crime has gone up so much my peaceful neighborhood has been ravaged as has my city. My neighbors are fearful and want something done. Many of us have gone to Nextdoor to discuss this. That's when the trolls showed up. These trolls are major supporters of the current politicians wrecking are city and anyone without their leftist views are bullied, berated, and shamed. Any time there is a post about these situations they hijack it, talk down to anyone who disagrees with them, and will bully anyone. When they get backed into a corner about their facts or can't run someone over they report them, sometimes removing the posts that they themselves put up and then reporting the response. Some of these people are leads and reviewers. When this is done the site takes their word for it and suspends the accounts of those they disagree with. I was suspended after an interaction with them involving the attempted theft of my van. Because I wasn't willing to say the criminal has a right to steal, a common sentiment among these trolls, I was accused of wanting to gun down children in the street?! I was suspended for defending myself, complained to the BBB, and was reinstated. After a 3 day crime spree a group of criminals went on in my neighborhood, multiple armed carjacking, shooting at the police, damaging several cars, and murdering a mother in front of her child, everyone was upset. These criminals had been caught after shooting at the cops and released the same day to terrorize our area. The trolls were on every thread about it, sticking up for the criminals who did this and trolling anyone that didn't agree that poverty and racism were the sole cause of this, and berating anyone that didn't agree. I stuck up for myself when they came at me and was suspended for 30 days. I again complained to the BBB and sent a message to Nextdoor through their contact portal. I never heard anything from Nextdoor myself but when they replied to the BBB they cut it down to 14 days and said I was suspended for using the word thugs. That is supposedly racist. That's not what the dictionaries I have seen say the definition of the word means and it is used several times on other posts without issue. Honestly, I don't remember saying it and can't see my posts because I am suspended. In their response to the BBB they didn't put up the post just the word. This is complete nonsense and has nothing to do with what I said. I am working to get a neighborhood watch program started in my area and that doesn't sit well with our criminal loving progressives. This has happened to anyone that has any kind of conservative view. This is completely biased. In all the years I have been on here I have never been suspended.

July 2021, I was indefinitely banned from Nextdoor for "COVID misinformation" for publishing a video of a renowed virologist, Geert Vanden Bossche, expressing a concern about mass vaccination in the middle of a pandemic putting evolutionary pressure on the virus forcing it to mutate. Other scientists have expressed the same concern, and there is now research showing this has been happening. This is not "misinformation". This is censorship and should not be allowed. These moderators are not scientists or doctors. I set up a paid ad that was supposed to end on 01/20/2023, and they kept charging me.
I am trying to cancel the ad, but I keep getting an error.
There is no phone number to reach out to, and they don't respond to the messages.

This person is a bully, he is rude , he is argumentative, he makes statements and then “because I say so” then closes or deletes posts. Please get him out of the role of a lead person. He had NO compassion about anything people are dealing with. Today 1-25-23 he is causing upset with the neighbors in a post. Can you please review him and do something —?

My name is Stephanie, I have a spamming complaint about how you appointed him as a founder and gave him special privileges in order to help the community grow, and be safe, these people are Jonny Rich & Irina Young. They both work at H&R and gather information about people in the neighborhood, they got mine and many others. Irina Young and her husband own Mr. Young own an Auction Company on the south side of Maryville, where I live, and Irina has been placing ads for the company. These two are not for the community, they are missing resting themselves there is a line of communication going, they need to be placing and buying advertising but they are not, they are not using their status as lead and founder, instead, they are using it for self-gain.

NextDoor allows Legal and Illegal Construction companies to advertise on their site without disclosing whether they are Licensed by the State of California as required by State Laws. NextDoor allows neighbors to recommend the illegal contractors they have used for for construction projects costing well over the $500 limit for materials and labor. This against their own guidelines regarding illegal activities. All licensed contractors are required to provide their license number on all quotes, invoices, business cards, and advertising. Nextdoor staff, reviewers, and Leads are biased against certain neighbors targeting them for issues that are allowed by numerous others contributors. NextDoor should require all posts involving construction work to be tagged with a warning that State licensed Contractors are required for projects over $500. All Construction posts should state whether they are licensed or not.

Been on app for many years. Notice most post are clear legal violations of laws set forth to not dox, slander, or harass others are protected by their staff. They only remove post they decide make the neighborhood look bad even if 100% true! They leave up horribly discriminatory, offensive, aggressive, inappropriate violent post not even aware those make the neighborhood look worse. They remove when people have a legitimate concern, complaint or feedback that may not be positive but is true and leave up slanderous attack post! Like when everyone in my area was trying to boycott an assisted living center moving in for disabled or mentally handicapped kids and adults. Most comments were horribly offensive and bigoted. Yet they left up the offensive discriminative post and took down the replies of the parents of autistic kids and disabled kids that were disgusted by how vocal most were with their hate filled ignorance. Now, still till this day, my area repeatedly post pics, security cam pics of minor children trick or treating snafus, doorbell cams accusing kids of the “wrong” color of stuff just for being on the porch. Labeling kids as thieves and inciting hate without legal proof of any wrong doing. Showing kids faces without parents’ permission. City people moving out to the country bragging about shooting dogs and confessing to killing over 8 but yet post is still up! Same man freely using offensive language describing prices for hay as ra$6 him! Abuse victims should not have to read this man’s clearly aggressively abusive content. Yet because I used initials of my maiden name my account was suspended for “safety” concerns by some new cry baby in my neighborhood! I was reported for reacting “wow” emoji which is one of their choices. Now I am a safety risk? After having an account with same info since nd was started. Initials considering all I said above is a safety risk? Safety?!? Who are you protecting? Get real! Read your boards see how much hate and illegal activity you do allow. People use to post pictures of license plates and threatening to “look” people up etc. Safety? Seriously? Our addresses use to be public and not hidden. Who is a safety risk!? Nextdoor promotes and stands by hate speech and discrimination. Censors bans and suspends real folks that have been on app longest and never not once commented on any post because karen or gary report them for a “wow” emoji.. Disgusting! Where is aspca or peta? Look up how many people are bragging about shooting animals city folk moving to texas country! Read what they keep and see how many karens they protect! Gross!

Nextdoor deleted my post for advocating that people do not park in disabled spots while "running in for a quick pickup", especially delivery drivers, etc. It was a healthy discussion, and 3 days after it was posted I was told it was deleted for reasons of "discrimination". As they define it, "discrimination" is targeting a group of people in a protected class. I'm disabled, the discussion was about disabled, and I'm in the protected class.

I've already disputed their deletion and they are doubling down on their decision to shut down my discussion.

As they are a platform, they do not own the rights to my content or my speech, and therefore, they cannot censor me as I understand it.

I've attached a screenshot of the post, and the post is very typical of other PSA's and sarcastic thank you's, all over next-door.
