Netflixblasphemous depiction jesus shows

C Dec 19, 2019 Review updated:

There are a few shows on Netflix that creat a blasphemous depiction of Jesus Christ. Two shows, in particular, are "The First Temptation of Christ" and "The Last Hangover." These shows are HIGHLY disrespectful to God, Jesus Christ, the faith and followers of Christ (Christians). I have yet to see a single show on Netflix that depicts Mohammed, Krishna, the Hebrew deity, or any other "god" from any other religion. The constitution encourages the freedom to practice religion, but when shows like this are accessible to children, adolescents and young adults that believe in Christ, it discourages their faith and desire to continue in the faith. Netflix has allowed the devil to utilize its resources and effect via media to construe Jesus and Christianity in a way not presented by the Bible. If these shows are not removed I will gladly cancel my membership with Netflix and rally for other Chrsitians to do the same.

It’s a comedy. Watch something else as no one is forcing you to watch it.

@SubSquirrel If someone made a comedy that portrayed your mother or father or someone you loved dearly that lives a moral life, a life of sacrifice, that took most of the pains and of life for your benefit, would you be happy about a comedy that misconstrued his/her life? And why not make a comedy about a pagan comedy? everywhere we look on mass media, the target is Jesus.

Sounds a bit like this show wasn't for you then. Maybe check out The Knight Before Christmas instead?

@cwtpc This show should not be on Netflix period. It is a disrespect to Jesus and followers of Christ. Less has been said or ridiculed of Donald Trump, yet his supporters start an uproar. I'm going to make an uproar for what and who I support and believe in.

Why they do not mock the Hollocaust instead? Or Feminism or Abortists? Or Obama? Why?

@fernandovzamora I’d say you should write to the Brazilian comedy troupe and ask them. I don’t know what an abortist is or if it deserves a comedy written about it.
