Nedbank review: Vey unprofessional verification process & breach of information

On the morning of 25 Nov 2025, I received an email from my office regarding a verification query from Lebohang Mahlare (Verification Analyst: OCR – Personal and Private Banking | Nedbank Limited).
This individual mails my entire group (100+ employees) WTF?
I did not agree to any business with NedBank as this was an exploratory inquiry in a personal capacity, no work mails were used whatsoever.
Who gave this person the right to ask my entire organization (not the HR) about a matter that was not even decided upon.
Having received a call from this person's manager apologizing for this action, however the damage is already done.
I considered moving a Nedbank account however after this nonsense, I can only wish existing account holders "Good Luck", not sure how they handle personal information of others.
