MTB Mechanical

MTB Mechanical is a terrible company. They put in 2 fancy *** systems, including a pricey zone system. I remember my builder saying it cost $24K for these 2 systems. But guess what? MTB Mechanical didn't bother to register the units with *** after they installed them. Both Evaporator coils broke down at the same time. Can you believe it? The units are only 6 years old! Because MTB didn't register them with the Manufacturer, the 10-year MFG warranty won't be honored. Thanks a lot, MTB! You guys are so amazing! NOT! Even my brother-in-law had problems with his *** units just a year after MTB sold and installed them. MTB never bothered to come and check their work without demanding an unreasonable amount to review it. My advice? Stay away from this company because they clearly don't care about customer service after the sale. There's no possible explanation they could give me for not registering my units with the MFG.

In August, I scheduled a Mini-Split Coil Clean for September 21st using a Bib Kit. It was the first appointment available from MTB Mechanical, Inc. Other companies said they could do the service, but when the technician arrived, they couldn't. I made sure multiple times that MTB could do it, and they even checked with a supervisor who quoted me less than $200 for the service. However, when the technician arrived, he said they don't offer that service and suggested taking the whole thing apart and cleaning it for around $800. I spoke with Chris, the GM, and he tried to blame me for the delay in getting the service done. He was unwilling to buy the necessary equipment for the initial promised service, which would cost around $50-150, or to lower the price of the more expensive service to make up for their mistake. The unit has been blowing mold, causing health issues during the summer. The GM refused to admit fault and fix the mistake, wasting a whole month of time for a health issue.
