DO not use this company

DO not use this company . they knew we had a child in a electric wheelchair and we would be struggling for room once the tv arrived . . cancelled after promising to fit our tv on the wall we waited all day . . we explained we needed it up on the wall as arranged. The tv was delivered today and fitted with arial force the same day . They have put us in a situation of cant get the wheelchair in the house. i explained we do not have the room . they did not care . STAY WELL AWAY . Im disgusted. do not trust the fitters or this company we are in the rct area .stay well away

These guys at Aerial Force UK are a real piece of work, let me tell you. I had the misfortune of dealing with them and it was a complete disaster. They took ?150 from me and didn't even do the job they were supposed to. I mean, what a bunch of scammers! I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

I had high hopes for these guys, but they really let me down. I thought they were going to be professional and get the job done right, but boy was I wrong. They didn't even show up on time and when they finally did, they didn't have the right equipment. It was a complete mess.

So, I had an engineer from Aerial Force UK come over to fix my TV. Unfortunately, he couldn't resolve the issue because my TV wasn't compatible. However, he did give me some advice on what to do next - either buy a firestick or a new TV.

Before the engineer came over, I was told on the phone that the cost would be ?69 plus parts. But when it came time to pay, I was charged ?200 and no parts were needed. I was a bit surprised by the price difference, but overall, I was satisfied with the service provided by Aerial Force UK.

They also assured me that they would give me a 30-minute notice before arriving so that I could be there for the fitting. However, I received a call from them saying that the technician was already around the corner from my property and couldn't wait for 20 minutes. This was very frustrating as I had to wait around the whole day for them to arrive.

To make matters worse, they changed the pricing on the day of the appointment. They quoted me a price range of ?80-?150 over the phone, but when they arrived, they charged me more than the maximum amount they had quoted. This was very disappointing and made me feel like I couldn't trust them.

Overall, I was not satisfied with the service provided by Aerial Force UK. The lack of communication and the unexpected price increase left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be using their services again.

However, 24 hours later, I received an email threatening to send my debt to a collection agency if I didn't pay the full amount. I recently had an experience with Aerial Force UK, also known as tvaerialcompany.co.uk, and I must say it was not a pleasant one. I contacted them because I was having issues with my TV reception, which was pixelated and unclear. The engineer who came to my house told me that the problem was due to 5G interference and suggested that an amplifier would solve the issue. He installed an amplifier that he claimed cost ?25 on Amazon and charged me ?175 for it, saying that it came with a 10-year guarantee.

However, I later found out that a filter was needed instead of an amplifier in this case. I showed him a filter that I found on Amazon for ?8.99, but he dismissed it as rubbish and claimed that he had removed hundreds of them as they didn't work. He didn't even bother to check the aerial on my roof or the cabling, but instead relied on his "diagnostic machine" to tell me that I was getting only a 15% signal.

He also told me that the reason why the rest of the street was getting better reception was because their masts were higher and newer, costing around ?300. He offered to install an aerial for ?325, but claimed that what he was offering me was a cheaper option. He removed the socket that the aerial was plugged into and told me that I would get better reception if the cable from the outside skipped the socket and came directly into the property. He then connected the socket to the cable with insulation tape, which I found to be potentially dangerous.

Throughout the process, I asked him several times if what he was doing was correct, and he assured me that he was a professional and a member of Trust Mark, so he wouldn't advise me incorrectly. At the end of the job, he even asked me to leave him a review, saying that it might help him and his colleague in case of cutbacks in the company. He introduced himself as Omar and his colleague as Jasmine.

However, I later called a local TV company to come and check my reception, and the experience was completely different. The engineer first evaluated my reception by accessing my TV channels, and his diagnostics showed that I was getting a 40% signal, which was much better than what the previous engineer had claimed. He then went on to the roof and discovered that the cable was completely frayed and needed to be replaced. He put on a new bracket and rewired my TV, and it now plays perfectly. He didn't need to use an amplifier or talk about 5G interference, and he assured me that the height of the aerial didn't matter as long as it was a digital aerial.

The cost of the service was also much more reasonable, at ?150 for a bracket on my roof, new cabling, and the replacement of the socket that the previous engineer had removed. I later found out that I could get my money back within 14 days under the Consumer Rights Act, so I called Aerial Force UK and demanded a refund, which I received after a lot of arguing and lying from their side.

I also spoke to four different aerial companies who all told me the same thing, and armed with this information, I was able to argue my case more effectively. Aerial Force UK wanted to charge me a "diagnostic" fee, but I pointed out that they were falsely advertising as they claimed to have no call-out fee and free quotes. They argued that they did the test, so the fee was owed to them, but I countered that one couldn't give a quote without testing something first. I also threatened to report them to the Advertising Standards Authority for false advertising.

In conclusion, my experience with Aerial Force UK was a disappointing one, and I would advise others to be aware of their consumer rights and not get ripped off.
