I booked a room for June 3 to June 4 online. Put my credit card on the booking to be charged when i arrived at the hotel. We arrived at approximately 1 am after driving for 3 hours and was told there was an issue with their system. We stood around in the lobby while they tried to figure it out. After almost 2 hours of waiting, we were given a key to Room 203. And I was asked to put a $200 fee on my credit card which I was told is just a holding fee. We get to Room 203, open the door and the TV is on and there is take-out food on the bed, towels on the bathroom floor. Back down to the desk, given a key to Room 205. Try to enter and the bar lock is on the door and someone is sleeping in the room! Back down to the desk and given a key to Room 225 and thankfully it was empty and we were able to get a couple hours of rest. I am very unhappy with the whole experience and would like a full refund on my credit card. My sister and I are both in our late 60's and this was very stressful for us both.
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund of the $200.00 holding fee and $159.65 room charge since we spent more time in the lobby than in our room
