Midas review: Unauthorized charge for oil pan, oil change.
Asked midas to inspect the muffler for hole.
No hole found. Desk clerk said the noise was caused by exhaust resinator and needed new exhaust assembly to cure the noise. And oil pan was rusted and when replaced needed an oil replaced. I refused the oil pan and oil change. Waited 3 hours to repair. Then clerk stated need an extra pipe in front as they cant put it back together. Another cost. Midas billed me for exhaust, and pipe assembly, oil pan, oil change. Total 1174.56. My 2011 grand caravan noise was the same as when I took it to midas.
Claimed loss: $1174.56 total loss.
Desired outcome: full reimbersement. I paid for repairs that were unnessesary. Problem was not fixed.
