I had my identity stolen, first it started with scam calls and spam links sent to my phone via text. Hundreds of them a week. Then my phone got hacked and I lost 400$. It suddenly after 5 years with my current number, got so bad I had to change my number. The first hack cost me 600 passwords for everything I've ever done online over the last 5 years. I go to metro and get a Samsung a32 and a new number. Scam calls increased, new phone hacked. Frustrating but there was something really fishy about the whole thing. I tried to factory reset the device, it freezes, brand new device btw so I call Samsung to inquire about it's warranty. Turns out the number is blacklisted, and the phone? Out of warranty because of a custom user built operating system. I return the device for another Samsung a32 after several attempts to factory reset. Second device and second new phone number have the same issue. More accounts stolen 353 dollars stolen. Neither phone can perform critical software updates, even if connected to wifi. Samsung says more fraud occured because the Samsung has a custom built os and the number is blacklisted. Less than a week after initial phone gets hacked I've returned 2 phones, and I try one more time... with a Third phone, this time a Motorola. Metro store on precessi and march lane in Stockton and the sales Kid says it's brand new device again. Immediately the number is inundated with scam calls, Motorola says the device is refurbished, and that it's been flashed, it won't update and is stuck on Android 10.

Out almost 1k and 4 reports to the FBI, my local pd and the ftc and metro later I begin my own research. I learned what flashed meant and I learn about voip hacking. I enlist the help of geek squad and they show me how to do bug trace, and to access the bootloader logs to identify where the operating system was being exploited. I know it's a hacker at this point because the Bluetooth on all three phones turns itself on, and all my pictures, passwords and everything else are all being stored in a remote access only file folder within my system files and even with superuser privileged and root access I cannot access the contents of said folder.

Metro stops responding. My voicemail password is changed daily, my financial accounts are all closed because of theft, and according to google even tho I factory reset the devices before returning them, they've BOTH logged into my Google accounts and I can trace their location. both devices had someone from Mexico logged in to Facebook upon opening the phones. Capital one had to call me back when closing the account because it kept saying I was on a conference call with an unknown Third party on the line.

My child's social account (she's 4 and has cerebral palsy) is attempted to be hacked into while I'm placing a freeze on my accounts and fraud alert on my credit report, which has been accessed over 13 times since the day I got new phone number 1. 15 devices, all metro devices are now logged into my PayPal, Motorola System logs, bug trace and bootloader logs reveal a user id and install date of it's custom operating system on November 4th at 849 am. (I got these devices on the 28th and 29th of December). Username is Hudsoncm. My school financial aid is intercepted by the hacker, who is intercepting my calls and posing as customer service, thinking I had closed the PayPal account I realize I was scammed and they accessed my Facebook pay by gaining access to my Facebook from the Samsungs I had reset and returned, using my original phone number.

I change my number back and regain access to all accounts, sure enough they're using my Google accounts and hitting PayPal and others up for refunds on stuff I wasn't going to return! Stealing the money and CREATING accounts in my name.

Both Samsungs return to being used posing as me.each FBI report has been deleted at least once while writing, they hang up on the cops and FBI when I call for help, my credit monitoring was hijacked after I received alerts that both my social security number and my child's are being used and are now available on the dark web.

System logs are full of proof that my phone has voip enabled even tho metro assures me they are not. Hudsoncm thinks he can flash these devices and harvest critical personally identifiable information and that nobody would notice. Messed with the wrong chick dude, I've got to the fcc and homeland security because this money is coming from crypto software hidden within the phone, 58 gb of data in 12 days and a contantly overheating phone tells me so. Geek squad told me so, GitHub and Google bug hunters have told me the device was sold with malicious INTENTIONAL remote access software.

Metro has done nothing, no response. And the theft is still happening. They've stolen my DMV ACCT, MY EBT ACCT, MY HOUSING AUTHORITY ACCOUNT, ALL BANKS, AND THEYRE OPENING ACVOUNTS ON FACEBOOK, PAYPAL, INSTAGRAM ECT ALL USING SAMSUNG A32 AND THE 2 PHONE I would like to be financially reimbursed for the ide toty theft, including pain and suffering as this has totally rendered me helpless to care for myself and daughter. I cannot access over 14000 photos documenting my child's entire life, and now her photographs are being used in shady places online. I've missed rent payments, and will soon become homeless if my housing authority application keeps being taken. We starve because they use my EBT on Walmart for themselves. So far their address pops up at 110 Grove Street in Stockton and 24 Barreymore.

My child's data was precious, and they tried to change my address, they've changed my voicemail, they've changed my ability to access my DMV to pay my be car registration, they've applied for a real id in my name. They are laundering money via my PayPal account. What's your entire life worth financially? 10k at least is what I'm asking because 4k stolen plus over 75 hours of phone calls, fraud alerts, police reports. Research ECT, and if I am not reimbursed I will take this to the district attorney because the FBI IS INVOLVED IN THIS SCAM. Desired outcome: $10,000 to someone compensate for the loss of all our lives work.

man i feel relieved and scared and frustrated all at once. i have been going through the same thing with the same company. first i bought a phone from metro and was locked out of my bank account because my passwords kept changing. all i could do was hit forgot password but as soon as i logged out and went to log right back in, sure enough, the new written down password doesn't work. my bank locks my account due to suspicious activity and of course two years later they still have not allowed me back into my account no matter what documents I send or how they told me to send it, I did and they still won't let me back in. amazingly it still shows open only credit report. the way they told me

I reorder a new phone and was told they were sending out a new phone

same issue except this time i open up a new account at a different bank, the only one that said yes, all the others told me no. sure enough a few days later the scam calls, the scam emailsb+júuû and text messages, add to that my new account doesn't add up from month to month, money is disappearing that I know i did not spend in places ive never been. to make matters worse no one believes me, they assume im in a psychosis. Let's just say this is not the end. like all the other reviews I've read there is a lot more that's going to happen. every story is my story. stolen identity x5, 3 banks, 2 phones, 3 sim cards and 10 different google accounts, reports to the ftc, freezing and placing a fraud alert on my credit reports at all 3 credit companies... and this is just the beginning. The moral to this story is leave t-mobile out of your business and just say no to scam calls, stolen identity, lost finances, outstanding bills at unknown companies, and a no longer usable social security number and name you've had your whole life because they will be burned after buying one of their phones. Just say no and walk over to a whole different cell phone company. Period

Need to get a new phone. Get a 2FA multi authentication app, add EVERY thing to it and change all passwords immediately, the faster the better. I would setup a new email for just to get your other accounts back, the new email is where you need to have the authentication codes sent to since he will not have whatever your NEW email is going to be. Hopefully this will get you started.

I have a new phone from metro t mobile.

I never had a problem with scam calls untill I got a new phone In west Oakland on grand Ave. They are more than likely selling your info to scammers because the very next day I don't armed getting about 12 scam calls. Non stop harassing interruptions. It's been over three months now and i am still being harassed by low life scammers. I block the calls and I hay still get around the block by calling from diff. Numbers. The salesmen in that store have ripped me off by selling me a bunk phone and over charging me $55.00 that they refuse to refund. If you are considering swicthing over to metro t mobile, do yourself a favor and slap yourself then walk away. You will regret it.

Am still having my accounts altered remotely on the device I factory reset and returned ,(the Samsung a32 that had the same remote access software that I later found out the Motorola had) and when I do find my devices it's back on there in every email I unhack and regain acess too... Guess where it is .. it's at the Metro store

Actually, ro.gwfcactivation.disabled_carriers=() is for disabling/enabling VoWiFi via SMS provisioning, which is Voice Over Wifi. Nothing to do with service being disconnected. It's obvious from your posts, that this person has your IMEI# and SIM# cloned. Getting a new sim card will still not stop them. A new phone will be the only way to get the IMEI clone to not be associated with you. Posting some of those logs, i would be careful on what ones you post, as they may contain info that you don't want posted.

Update the device I just bought locked me out yesterday, sim pin and phone pin changed. Phone is now essentially a brick it does all sorts of things behind the locked screen it's making calls and texts but the lock screen has no option if I forgot the password to fix it and what's strange is that it turns itself on and is sending and receiving messages from behind the lock screen. 121 tries won't even trigger any reset options. Bootloader still locked, via the phones Bluetooth all devices in my house have been tampered with. Phone shows it's connected to Android auto. Sim card from India and the guy who logs into my Facebook is from Palin India. also they have employee privileges to access metro because Facebook's off Facebook activity has them at the employee login site. Metro is charging me for a service I cannot use and I will be obtaining an attorney

mmp.enable.3g2=true

Is for MM modules (MultiMedia)

3g2 is an audio/video format... That is just saying that it's enabled in your build.prop file for your phone, that's it...nothing more.
