I purchased a family plan, I had three lines suspended due to one telephone was stolen, 2nd one line was suspend due to one child was placed on punishment because miss use of phone and have earn phone privelges back, and the last line suspended to because of disrespect to the parents. There is one open line at this time. The telephone number list above was stolen from my family plan and made into a separate account without my promise. If someone in the metro pcs team is allow to bypass all my security code in place and never one thought to call me to inform me about the change, I feel that my rights have been violated, brieth of contract have occured, and that I have Paid for the 4 lines and 4 lines are what I am contracted for. I paid for the telephones and activatives fees, then to have one line stolen from me, that there was no fees occured for that person and my billing payment changed and my security code broken into to this person to remove #[protected] from my plan. I want a full investigation done and I want this phone line restore back to my account. [protected]@live.com

We have signed up for Metro PCS unlimited call, text and internet service almost 8 months ago. The text message service is horrible. Some times it takes almost 25 minutes to reach a text message. It's causing lot of trouble for us. My wife could not reach me many times to pick her up because the call from her Metro PCS phone did not go through.
I called the tech support and the guy mentioned he cannot do anything because it's coverage issue. I did a test and seems like Metro PCS has no contract with other carriers to use their service in an area where Metro PCS do not have coverage.

I can't believe anyone uses this company no matter how cheap they are, the government should do something to stop them from misleading the public and wasting people's money. When I asked for "the cheapest service they have" I was signed up for more than was necessary, which was not their cheapest service, the salesperson deliberately misled me. The new phone was supposed to have a rebate, but the form provided for the rebate had an expiration date earlier than the date I bought the phone. When I went back to get another form, they told me the promotion had ended. They have NO WAY for you to change the number of times your phone rings before going to voice mail. Not to mention that their service is absolutely terrible, no matter where you are located. Voice mail is often received in the phone 24 hours late. I had them once years ago and they were even worse then, I thought I'd give it another try, and it has been a waste of money and a huge waste of time. DROPPED CALLS, LOST BUSINESS, VERY POOR RECEPTION ALL OVER FLORIDA. Warn your friends and family.

I bought one of thos ZTE Essenze from the metropcs located in meijers at 13 and john R on December 17, 2009 at about 4:30pm. I bought the phone when I was on lunch at work, I would say at about 4:30pm or later.
The guy rambled on about how what a "BAD MOTHERF##KER" this phone was, so I bought is for $106. I left work at 11pm when I got home I went to bed. The next day I woke up at 10:45pm, I didnt have to be to work intil 1pm so I watched a movie. I left for work and grabbed my new phone and put it in my big front pocket. I started to cupping candy at work and decided to text my friend, and what do you know the screen wasnt working it was all white. so I decided to take my phone back to get my money.I punched out for lunch and went up to there counter in meijers, I waited in line for about 22 mins because the women behind the counter was talking to another customer. I showed some one else that was waiting in line the phone and how it broke within less than 24 hours, The woman behind the counter finaly asked "WHAT DO YOU WANT" I was like look at the phone, She picks it up and takes it out of the case and saw that the phones screen was all white, She instantly said did you drop the phone I said no, then she said so you sat on it, I said no it was in my front pocket which are huge and not tight. she said nothing after that, then I asked can I get my money back for the phone i do not wish to trade back for the same crappy phone I WANT MY MONEY BACK! she tells me i need to have the case and everything that came with it so i tell my boss im taking a long lunch I go home and get my box and every thing that came with it including the crappy phone. When I got back to meijer the guy that sold me the phone was in there, once i showed up he started tell me the same thing the girl did, "YOU DROPED IT OR SAT ON IT " I Said no I did not, but after about 30 mins of him telling me it was me and something about "What did god break your phone, did I break your phone, we dont have a button that breaks your phone or something like that, he started to piss me off I figured he was cussing so I started to cuss. Then he told me to Get the ### out of here before i do something to you, I was THINKING WHAT IS THAT suppose to mean ? IS HE going to hurt a customer ? I walked away pissed off I called my dad and told him about it he came up at about 7 PM I took my break and went with him, my dad was talking nice at first but the guy wouldnt lisson to my dad too, he told my dad they just came out 8 days ago its new there in nothing wrong with this phone and never will have any problems, hes a tech he said i know this phone is good, My dad asked what kinda of crappy phone are you selling if it breaks within 12 hours of owning it with out me abusing or sitting on the phone. the guy just wouldnt give up and admit the phone was the problem not the customer. my dad told him you dont give a ### about the customers do you and he said nope i dont give a ### about customers, He said about 2 times, the funny thing about that a few other customers were in line looking at the guy as he said it. he told my dad theres nothing he can do for us and said something about a some office that wasnt there, that could help up.
I would say never get this phone and never trust metropcs, they are con artist, they act nice when you are handing them $106 but one you have a problem they dont do anything for you and threaten you on top of all that, I dont know if metropcs corporates care but I do so Im calling customer service tommarow and sending a letter to corprate asking for apology for all the trouble and for the guy threatening me. I dont think meijer would like to here about metropcs customer service, because meijer is a friendly store that is big on customer service, they take back anything even apples with bites taken out of them NO QUESTIONS ASKED. metropcs has something like that but they dont really care about the customers and wont give your money back even after asking a thousand question and accusing the customer that it is his falt and there is no way the phone has problems, and on top of it threaten the customer, but dont let me discurage you from buying the phone buy your on your own after owning it.

Getting a new "Samsung Caliber" cell phone from Metro PCS? If you are using a lap top or PC running Windows 7, BUYER BEWARE! The software required to allow USB transfer to and from your new "Caliber" will not install. Therefore, you will not be able to use your data card at all, which is the ONLY way to use the music player or store data on your computer. I wrote to Samsung about the problem and they not only confirmed that Samsung does not have a driver compatible with 64 bit operating systems, but do not necessarily plan to in the future.
So, not only did Samsung miss the boat here, but METRO PCS is selling a product that is defective in that it does not function as advertised, unless you have a 32 bit operating system (example, Windows XP, Vista).
Their return policy limits phone calls use to 1 hour, so be sure to check out each and every feature, including downloading the software required to use the USB cable (disk included with phone) before you cancel your old phone service and start yakking away on ANY of the Metro phones. (The sales person at the Metro store said he heard that the Samsung Code had the same problem not downloading to Win7, but I can not confirm this.)

poor knowledge of replacement cell phone policy
Under a month ago, purchased from Metro PCS at the 13200 block of Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, Calif. a Kyocera Laylo cell phone. Found out the camera did not function. Took it to the 6th Street Metro PCS store in Corona, Calif., was told by lady to take it back to where I purchased it. So I drove 40 minutes back to Anaheim, California where I was told to take it to the corporate store at Warner-Bristol in Santa Ana. Lady did not know the address of her own corporate store..but was able to give me directions on how to get there. I asked her, why she did not have the address..she said she was not given the address. Her fellow employee agreed. At corporate store, 25 minutes later drive, Robby finally figured it was a bad phone, went to the back room and came out to say there were no replacement phones and to come back in 6 days, after 4pm. I drove over 1.5 hours and delt with Metro PCS employees who are so poorly trained they do not really help and are not given corporate address of where to go to replace the phone.
If Metro pcs is in the business of selling phones and providing service to a consumer, it should replace the defected product for free. The law is plain you can't sell a defected product. If a customer purchased a phone from your establishment and continue to pay the required monthly prepaid service charge, (1) with a defected product and you know it's defected and yet receive payment, you robbing that customer or for a better term defrauding the customer, (2) To ask to pay for another phone any amount, yet is a rip off. The customer has purchased a defected product, yet paying the agreed prepaid service the customer is still being cheated and the company is making a profit, inconveniencing the customer, upsetting the customer because he is being defrauded. Are you not familiar with the Consumer Protection Laws.
I would like to apologize for the poor quality of service you have been receiving. Issues of this type are very easy to resolve. If the camera was not working initially after purchase the dealer location from which you purchased the handset is obligated to exchange it for you. If the problem occured later after purchase the dealer should have given you a Dealer Service ticket. Even if you purchased it at another location any dealer should trouble shoot the handset to the best of their ability and forwarded you to a corporate location for further assistance.

If the problem cannot be repaired their is a warranty exchange fee. The least amount is $10 via mail. The corporate representative will call you when the handset arrives this may take 2-3 business days. If you do not wish to wait you can receive and exchange handset immediately for only $30. That's for any phone regardless of the price. It isn't a big deal if a customer spent $150 or more on a phone but it's more of a problem honestly for customers who only paid $29 for their phone.

My husband and myself recently went into a local Portland Oregon metro PCs dealership store and wanted 2 lines on the $30.00 plan and was told for 2 lines we had to get the 60.00 plan for both lines charged us 164.00 and I looked at my online account on my metro it says 1 plan is 50.00 and an add on for 30.00.
Wtf. And it's a new customer plan.

I went into metro 2 buy 2 new phones w accessories. I only intended on paying was paying a price i was quoted $130 so my phone started acting up i took it back the next day and when the Clerk looked up my acct. Iwas charged $40 xtra 4 cases .i was angry and was told no refunds. So metro manager is a liar and a theif.
My sister and a friend work for Metro Pcs different locations, they both tell me that the managers make them overcharge customers and they lie about what the charge is for i.e. using credit card fee, reinstating fee, etc. If they do not overcharge customers they will not make sales and will be fired. So don't fall for false charges on your account.

Samsung freeform cell phone purchased on 12/22/09. This purchase qualified for $20.00 rebate in form of prepaid American Express Card if purchased between Octo ber 30 - December 31, 2009 & mailed in by 1-14-10. Rebate form was mailed in with all items required by date, but I never received my prepaid American Express card that was offered! This is now 2 months later! Looks like just another REBATE RIPOFF to me.

My payment is due the 10th ea mo. I made an online payment on the 9th of June. 06/11 service disoconnected. I called MetroPCS, customer service told me to call their 3rd party payment proc. co, "Bill Matrix" to confirm pymt was rec'd. I called, they confirmed pymnt was rec'd. I called Metro PCS back with the confirmation #. They told me it would take up to 2 hrs for them to check their computer data base. Service never resumed. I called, they now turned my service back on but only for 2 days while they investigate (again, they say they will investigate further). I gave the Metro PCS customer service rep. the trace # and the reference # my bank shows to confirm they debited my bank account. 2 days later, I get a text msg. saying the case is closed and that I need to pay another month's bill to resume my service. Metro PCS claims they have 24/7 Customer Service. I attempted to call Customer Service after hours, the automated system says it cannot transfer to me to a live operator at this time.

I went online, on the 17th to purchase a phone for my son, I have a phone, the make was a huawei m750, I filled out all the info, but when I clicked sumit order, it refused my credit card, so I thought I had made error and resummitted 4 more times, still would not process, iwent to my bank where they told me my account was on hol, and the reason was that metropc, had taken $175.48 which would have been the total price for phone, they took this amount out 5 times, and bank accont is now locked, I called service senter, and they switched me to several people who new nothing! Total of 7 people from different services, they could not help, I am sooooooooooooo mad, right now, that the order did not go through, but that they took about $700.00 from my account and nobody know' how I can get it back, need it released from company. my daughter bought 2 cell phone on 1/29/2010 at the store on friday by sunday the phone she bought for herself the screen went blue she took the phone back up on tuesday and they could not fix it so the young lady at the store told her to take it to the corporate store in tampa and get her money back and she also suggested that she get another phone because they would refund her money back so she got another phone under the pretense she would get a refund back for the other phone . she took it to tampa they would not give here a refund because she got another phone in place of it she had to have a phone because of her kids needing to get a hold of her. they told her more or less to bad no refund she spent a 140.00 on a phone she could not use and they would not refund her only had the phone for 3 days and then spent another 90.00 on the second phone we asked for the managers name they would not give it to us just gave us a # [protected] said to ask for mark or brittney we asked if they were the managers would not tell us this is very pour business at these times with the economy and people not have jobs you dont treat people like this and i will be going to the tv station with this re: the store metro pcs

I agree as well! I bought a sprint phone and they flashed it to Metro... I was told that this phone would work nationwide.. As it worked in the Atlanta Metro area, for ONLY texts and cell phone calls, once it was out of GA.. all the calls were blocked by roaming.. "MESSAGE blah blah blah.. your call can not be completed... US CELLULAR" ... so I was like okay thats fine, maybe its because I am in the mountains of Tennessee (heading to DC)... so as I get to DC suburb areas, NO SIGNAL WTFUC* SO EVER! I went on MetroPCS website, typed in the address of my uncles house and it shows the area COVERED.. SO by now, I am pissed.. I bought this account on 3/20/2010 and it doesn't even work. Then, I TRIED all DAY to get a hold of a LIVE person.. and then the stupid automatic computer says... I KNOW YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO A LIVE REP, BUT I CAN HELP YOU INSTEAD... say the wrong thing and she hangs up!
then you try to call a local store... NOTHING..some numbers blocked, some took you back to the SAME METRO numbers and some just rang...
I have been with sprint for 6 years... always had a live service... It is an HONOR to pay 10 bucks more a month for GOOD SERVICE and LIVE PEOPLE TO TALK TO!

Went to add an additional option onto phone plan which cost $5 a month and the monthly price jumped up $10 a month. When I went to call the company, their automated system would not patch me through to a live person. I hit "0" 4 or 5 times and the recording kept saying that it could help me faster. In addition, their website kept crashing even though I was referred there.
The phone service for this company is adequate but the customer service completely sucks. Their support is awful. I found that it is impossible to communicate with anyone from this company. They do not even provide an email address on their website. They take the money and that is it.
And I thought AT&T was bad.

monthly subscription payment
I have been trying since Dec 18th to contact someone regarding my payment recent subscription plan change. There is absolutely no website other than the one to pay your bill.
The only way to contact them is if you drive to a service center.
That is what I did on the 18th attempting to make instant payment before my phone was disconnected.
I was told the store only took cash for payment.
While there, I asked them to change my plan(wanted to decrease amount and was told that would be taken care of.
I went home and online and proceeded to make a payment. I assumed it was still the amount I was paying and paid for that amount. $15.00 less than I had been paying.
Shortly after 'that I was notified that I had made a recent change in my subscription and I was to submit that new amount or my phone would be shut off.
I texted the company stating that I had already paid my bill and that payment was made (assumed that I would just have +balance for next months bill. I stated that they better not discontinue service until paid or I was quitting company.
three days later and my phone service is still not on.
I work midnights and am unable to go to service centers constantly.
I am done with this company!

terrible customer service
I am a student and i thought this would be the best phone company to join since a they say- no contract and i would be here for just one year...I have had problems with this service since i bought this phone in December. I called and called their customer service and no one was able to assist me. I even went to their went customer service shop three times where they did not do anything about it. i kept on calling and they would tell me maybe its the other network, but the funny thing is i have a friend with the same kind of phone, who had the same kind of service and we come from the same place, and she didnt have any problem whatsoever. Finally i went back to the place where i bought the phone, the dealer called the company using their dealer line, and CAN YOU BELIEVE THE PROBLEM WAS SORTED! But sadly one month later i realised it was not working again, so i started calling their customer service line, basically i am back to square one.I feel like no one is willing to assist me, i even told them to take away the service, and no one even bothered to ask me why.

But when you call them they to try to ge tthe deal they tell you that plan was over in DEC. 2008. i went out and purchase 2 used phones to add on my line over the weekend and on monday when I tried to get it I got the bad news. Maybe if they didnt advertised it i wouldnt have spunt my money cause right now i am unemployee and need to save as much as I can im very pissed right now with the Merto PCS i want to cancell my other 2 lines i have with them.

I don't know how this company has stayed in business so long! Their phone service sucks but there customer service is even worse! I got my daughter a metro pcs phone for christmas last year and got her the "everything service" first of all they never told me they charge you to pay your bill! Three dollars a month just to pay your bill! On top of that she is only able to text about 50% of the time and can hardly ever get on the web. Her phone burned out last week... It actually started smoking while she was charging it so I took it back to the store who tried to sell me another one. Something told me not to do it and when I got home and looked at the contract it said the phone is under contract for 1 year so I went back to the store who informed me I had to take it to the corp office. When I got to the corp office in panorama city there were 11 employees there but only 2 counters open! The other 9 were just sitting around talking on their cell phones, one girl was writing a letter and 2 other girls were looking at each others pictures. I waitedfor 45 minutes until my number came up when I asked the guy why only 2 people were working he rolled his eyes and said its typical here. He gave me no problem about exchanging the phone and gave me the number to the office to call and check if the new phone was delivered yet (Takes 3 days). On the 3 rd day I tried all day to get through to that number but I kept getting their office in panama! In the caribbean! After a couple of hours I finally got someone who told me when the office is busy and no one can answer the phones the lines roll over to them. I asked them if they have a website I can e mail and they said no however when I was there I saw a computer at every station. I asked for another phone number they said they don't have one. When I asked them what if another store needs to talk to them they are a corp office they said the other stores dont have the numbers. I got so much run around that I went up there and guess what the same thing as before! Everybody playing on computers, talking on the phone etc and this time only one person working! I asked for the manager and she turned out to be the letter writing girl! The phone had not gotten there and she said well we can do an in store exchange with one of the phones here for $30 we have some in the back. When I protested and said it has been 5 days you said it would be here in 3 or 4 at the latest you need to do an in store exchange for free. After raising my voice about everyone sitting around doing nothing and all the calls going to panama because they are to lazy to answer them she said well ok let me go look in the back. She comes back and said oh I thought we had some but we don't. I asked for the number to the main office and she said the same thing as panama. Oh we don't have the number i'm not even sure where the main office is. I said what if you have a problem and need to talk to them and she said oh it won't happen but I dont even think they have a phone there! A phone company without a phone in there main office!?

i have two of these phones i have been a metro customer for 4 years theses phones have not worked correctly since i purchased them i have been threw the ringer to try and get results now it has been 34 days who is going to fix this problem with these phones metro blamed samsung and samsung blamed metro ok im over it who replaces these phones or exchanges them

i'm sure u have received multitudes of complaints against MetroPCS, esp, in the area of customer service. it sucks! for one, u can't understand the service reps due to heavy accents. two, they have no interpersonal phone skills. and now, i find that i need a Metro PCS (credit) card to make international phone calls. what sucks is, i've been makin these calls all day and now i find this information. it would have really been nice to know this in advance. as it stands, a very important business call cannot be made because i do not have this card presently. had i known in advance, i could have purchased one and avoided yet another dealing with inept, incompetent customer service agents. their apologies are not satisfying my situation at this present time. if it were not for dealing with contracts and expensive services, i would have left this sorry ### company a long time ago. this is America and Metro PCS needs to WAKE UP! and why am i always told of my phone bill before i can get ANY one on the phone. i'm not calling to find what my bill is, i'm calling to solve a problem!
No improvements! I did not check the reviews before buying up their service and I regret that. The agents know nothing, their supervisors cannot compensate a penny, and to get a live person on the line you need a lot of patience. Basically this service is more trouble than its worth:(
when I first purchased my phone the store charged me twice on my debit card. I had to go through my bank to get my money back as the store would not reimburse me they stated that they were not over according to their books... nevermind that I brought in all the bank statements and records to prove they charged me twice. they tried to say maybe I purchased two phones! Today is the 2nd time I my service was disconnected because of non payment. I pay the same every month online and the payment was cashed and in time before it was due on the 25th of the month. I just do not have the energy to go through all the craziness to prove my payment was sent this month. I am just cancelling and going to another more reliable provider. Trying to get throuh to talk to someone is a joke, they do not answer the phone. You have to talk to the computer and all that does it get you no where real fast. This company is the absolute worse service I have ever had! I would NEVER recommend anyone using this cell phone service it is run by a bunch of monkeys for sure!
I purchased a metro cellular phone on 10/01/09, i also purchasd the blue tooth value pack after opening it i realized that the value pack was not compatable with the cell phone, i have spent several days on the telephone with the customer service [protected] telephone number that the employess # 1 saying in there scripted is that "i am sorry" nothing gets taken care of other then them using the hold button to convience you to hang up or like tonight i got transfered to the spanish line when i asked to speak to a supervisor. i just want to know what the process is when returning an item that was purchased online. the customer service employees refered me to the www.metropcs.com web site that referred all questions to the 888#. How is that going to help?

Metro PCS, service is horrible. When I am in my apartment, calls either drop or phone breaks up. Today I received four phone calls not once did my phone ring and all four calls went to voice mail. But my main complaint is the customer service. I called customer service good luck trying to get a customer service representative on the line. Better yet, when you are on hold the automated system is in spanish! I speak Spanish, but not everyone else does! it should be in english. and the customer service reps sound like robot, every five seconds they say "Sorry for the inconvenience" Instead of just putting you through to a customer service rep the automated system just keep saying "I understand you want an agent, I can probably help you faster" its so frustrating. When I finally got through they were not able to help me with my problem. I have to go to the corporate store to help me. If you are considering them, please choose another carrier. its not worth the hassle.
I have been with metro pcs for two years and this is the frist time I have had to call customer service. I bought a new phone less than a month ago and have been unable to send text messages. After spending an hour on the phone and going to a local store my problem is still not fixed! Now I'm being told I have to go to a corprate headquater and see if they can fix it! Did I mention that I have insurance and the phone is less than a month old! Two weeks and still nothing! Metro PCS SUCKS!

Noticed the last post from 2007 said pretty much the same thing, I guess nothing is going to change until Chpt 11 filing, until then I'll wait to the last minute to pay my bill!
