Meineke Car Care Center review: Brake and wheel service

On 8/26/2023, I brought my 2008 Ford Edge Limited into a Meineke repair store located in Fitchburg, Ma to have my front brakes and calipers checked and fixed. I picked the car up at ten minutes till closing on Saturday afternoon. After I paid and started to drive away, there was a terrible thumping and rapping noise coming from the drivers side front wheel where the technician had replaced a caliper. I drove a little way and tried to call them but there was no answer. Obviously they had all gone home and were now closed. I had no choice but to drive home about ten miles away with the loud noise coming from the front. I had an important appointment the next day and needed this car for the week. Since Meineke is closed on Sunday, I decided that I may have to cancel and wait till Monday to get the problem rectified, losing some of my reservation nights. After a while, I decided to take a closer look at the drivers front wheel and low and behold, All five lug nuts were only twisted on a couple of turns, not even hand tight! I inspected the other three wheels and all were barely hand tight and half not even close! I tightened them all up having to jack the car up in the process. I am 70 years old and this was not an easy task. I could have gotten into a bad accident or worse. This has to be the worse repair service and negligence on the part of ANY repair station in my lifetime! By the way, I was able to make my appointments but the front brakes are still not right. Which is the other complaint.
