I paid $714,000 for a home. The home wasn't 100% completed and they promised to fix all the problems within a week. It's been 5 months now and there are still many issues that were identified and documented before I closed on the home. These aren't small problems. The garage floods when it rains and the incorrect sloping causes water to accumulate. The doors to the outside have gaps due to warped frames. The walls are so warped that I can slide my fingers under one side when I place a straight edge on them. The ceiling heights vary by 1-2 inches throughout the home. The master vanity has chips filled in with caulking and the backsplash is misaligned. The oven hood is off by an inch when you use a straight edge. The veneer stone on the front of the home is cracking and falling off. The pavers are sinking and they look like they were installed by an amateur. The list of issues goes on and on. There are too many problems to mention here and I have photos to prove it. I'm only sharing the really bad photos. Note: Blandford schedules subcontractors to do the work, but they often don't show up. And when they do, the work is done poorly, so Blandford has to reschedule them. I've asked Blandford to be here, but they say they don't have time to oversee their subcontractors.
