My husband and I built a Beazer home in Spring Mill Plantation in Calabash NC. We closed on the home 6/27/19 and moved into it on 8/28/19. We had upgraded Aristokraft cabinets installed (toasted antique durham Level 3) at a cost of $6100.
Just recently we noticed 2 issues with the upper cabinet doors. As the light reflected off the cabinets, we noticed several scratches on the veneer of the door directly above the microwave and a tiny strip of veneer missing on the inner edge of the the upper door on the far right cabinet.
We contacted Beazer who, in turn, contacted the vendor and both refused to replace the doors. Beazer stated we should have noticed it during our "walk through" inspection of the house and the vendor stated Beazer should have noticed it upon the cabinet installation. Our "walk through" with Beazer's building supervisor was cursory at best and we were told we had a year to address any issues we might encounter. We DID NOT put those scratches on the cabinet door nor did WE SCRAPE the veneer off the other one!
Since Aristokraft states in their brochure that "we take pride in supplying customers with high quality products that stand the test of time" and your cabinets are backed by a 5 year warranty on all workmanship and manufacturing defects, we are confident that you can remedy this situation for us. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Linda and Richard Hendricks
