Been fine while still smoking the non fsc cigarettes till about a year ago when I couldn’t get em overseas since then o have consistently been getting sicker and tightness in my chest I never had gotten this before with the non fsc cigs I’m only 40 and in good shape I do think they are hiding what they put in these and are way more toxic than the old non fsc smokes

I've seen more people die from smoking more in the past 10 years than ever..And I MEAN EVER! It's because of the "FSC" cigarettes. I know this is a fact for I've seen it with my own eyes. The fda or anyone can argue how there has been less home fires due to the fsc change but more people are dying from smoking than in any house fire etc. My point is underatood im sure. I may feel like I'm wasting my precious time saying anything at all because look at all the complaints...has anything changed? Has there been any impact on anyone who's behind the fsc cigarettes? I say NO! Yet, here I am, like the rest of the unhappy smokers complaining and complaining, trying to get my point heard and taken seriously...as if "WE" the masses voices matter! Everyone has a voice, we all should be heard so listen up. TIME FOR A CHANGE, TIME TO MOVE YOUR LAZY CORPORATE MONEY LOVING ONLY BUTTS AND CHANGE FOR WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT. You can love money all you want but know that money stays when we die can't buy nothing in the afterlife. Point to rhis rant of mine is make the cigarettes the way they used to be before the fsc.

I have been a Marlboro Light smoker for 16 years. I can't stand this what is it going to take to go back to the regular cigarettes? I will not continue to smoke this brand. There are others out there that don't have the FSC yet. Come on they are taking our rights away to smoke in bars, don't come with another stupid idea.
If they are trying to save people from burning down their house then they should stop selling Kerosene heaters and things like that in the winter. I'm sick of this stuff.

Get rid of Fire safe cigarettes. Cigarettes are bad enough and got addicted about 50 yrs ago, but now to put extra harmful chemicals on them is even worse. GET RID OF THIS. WE ARE CHOOSING TO SMOKE AND IT IS NOT FAIR FOR YOU TO PUT ADDED UNKNOWN CHEMICALS ONTO IT.

I recently purchased a carton of cigarettes. I opened a couple of packs from the carton to find that some of the cigarettes in each pack were broken and had discolored cigarette paper. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I have purchased the same cigarettes in the pasted and haven't had a problem before. But this time, it was a different story.

The government is full of S..t! The best thing anyone can do is quit smoking. Find the way to quit, your life is more important than smoking toxic cigarettes. It is absolutely crazy for anyone to keep smoking this crap especially knowing what is in them. I quit, the hell with them, I feel so much better now. If they won't agree to ridding the cigarettes of that carpet glue, then STOP smoking their poison. Go to vapor cigarettes until you can quit for good!

I just bought a carton of cigarettes and when I opened the first pack there was a beetle in it that had been eating the filter of one of the cigarettes. This makes me weary of smoking the whole pack.

I bought a pack of Marlboro Gold Beyond. I popped the mentholated bubble and it still tastes like a normal cigarette. I only smoke menthol this is disheartening and disappointing as it's the only brand I smoke.

I just sent a complaint about all of this on Saturday and thought I would do research and found this. I had a flu shot and phemomia shot this year and thought I have been coming down with bronchitis and ear infection. The dropping cherries are so dangerous. I have been smoking about 35 years and never burnt anything until lately. I have a hole in my couch, two in carpet, clothes, chair and now sick. Very angry with out government.

Smoked Marlboro silver for years. Since the fact has come out, I have a terrible cough, an excess of coughed up plenty, chest is tight, throat burns and overall fatigue. I have quit smoking these cigarettes and am trying to find non fav cigarettes. I have been smoking the FSC cigarettes and am concerned about the taste and the possible after affects that will come along after. This should of been a nationwide vote. Also, Cigarette companies are going to lose so much money because I would rather quit smoking than smoke the nasty cigarettes they are selling now. Are they going to make us sick? Who will pay for that? Has the paper even been FDA approved? Has it undergone 15 yrs of testing to make sure it is safe?

Yes I know its a bad habbit, but I have smoke Marlboro Reds for 25 years. And have never had reason to complain until now. These new FSC Saftey Cigaretts are nasty. For my self they give me horrid headaches, dry mouth, sour stomach, and in a couple cases even vomiting. If you don't smoke Marlboro's for a few days these symptoms will go away, but don't believe me try it for your self, lets say over a 30 rotation.

Reading Blogs and other info around the net, it seem these FSC cigs are far more toxic than the Non FSC of days gone by, Which leads to some of the symptoms I mention above.

The Major Cigarette Companies are following the new Law's pertaining to Cigarette Saftey issues. Which is laugable at best.
The hot ash flares and flies everywhere and the cherry falls off constantly. I ask you what is suppose to be safe about that.
I can only conclude that either this is the biggest anti smoking campain set upon the smokers nation wide. Or the folks at Philip Morris really want to put them selves out of business.

Rolling My Own Til Further Notice

I have become very ill due to the fact that I have smoked FSC cigarettes everyday I wake up with horrible chest pains, my mouth and my throat feel like they are on fire. I have lost my sense of taste. I have very high fevers and I feel like I can't breath. I know I should quit right? well it is easier than it sounds. I can't believe the government passed a law under our noses, that will potentially kill us faster! Way to go America! We as smokers already feel like lepers and we get gouged with paying high taxes. Would you please just give us back our regular cigarettes please!

I understand that this may not be Marlboro's fault because of the new laws passed for the FSC cigarettes but we should have a choice if we want to purchase FSC or regular. I know cigs aren't good for you but whatever they are adding to it can't be any more helpful but since they basically put a warning saying cigs will prolly kill you it makes them exempt from further liability. Honestly. I don't know wheather to complain or thank you, since I quit smoking because of this new type of cigarette, which in turn helps me save more money because of the prices steadily increasing. Since this has started, I know 5 people that have quit smoking already and more in the progress so kudos to the government for trying to have control over peoples lives(said with sarcasm), I guess in a way you are helping some by so many people quitting instead of smoking these nasty cigarettes.

Philip Morris is shipping their tobacco to their factory in the Philippines and is producing Non-FSC cigarettes all day long... then http://TobaccoTrain.com ships them back to America and other countries that prefer American Non-FSC cigarettes.

They are not European/Chinese blends, only American.

I am 30 years old and I have smoke since I was 14. Just recently over the last 2 weeks I have started having seizures. I am looking at every angle to figure out why. My mom called me today to have me look at the fsc information and blogs. Has anyone else experianced seizures from the fsc? Does anyone know if seizures are a valid adverse symptom of the fsc?

I have recently come down with terrible hive outbreaks all over my body. I normally smoke Parliament lights and have never had a problem. When I started getting hives, I started tracking everything that I ate or drank. When I ruled out pretty much everything, I realized on the days that I had hive outbreaks, I had smoked somebody's Marlboro Lights! Never again! I am researching to find out what in the world they have changed about Marlboro Lights that I am allergic too. But it has pretty much drawn me to quit all together...so if that's what they are trying to do by changing the cigarettes and adding even more chemicals to them, then well done...I am now a non-smoker!

I called the company, and they said that if you put your pack of cigarettes in the Microwave for 4 seconds, they will not go out like that. (: I hope this helps you.

I agree with the letter headed ( Cigarette Burning ) The Red dot strip is a danger as the hot ash falls out at the end of every cigarette. If my insurance company new I smoked Marlboro Red my car, household and Motor insurance would rocket !. I have been smoking pm products over 40 years. Like others I will travel to find the one's I smoke. The new fsc cigarettes are an inferior product. I am horrably addicted. Have been trying to quit since 1986 but to know avail. I purchase a carton every 4 to 5 days. after reading some of the other complaints they have enlightened me to how I'm feeling health wise. My other complaint is the fire falling off. I am a commercial driver and am fortunate to be able to smoke at any time. These new cigarettes have dropped the fire off and burnt the seat of my pick up truck, my bass boat...and last but not least my new motorcycle. It's not due to my carelessness as stated before, I have alot of experience smoking. For the price that we pay it seems that pm would do everything they could to keep us as customers. If something doesn't change I will attempt to find a different product.

Dosal Tobacco must not be smoking their own cigarettes. It is the paper that has changed the taste and flavor and is making people sick. I have five Dosal FSC cartons that I cannot smoke. They make you sick. Excessive coughing, shortness of breath, sore throat, headaches and many other flu like symptoms. From the internet I understand that the new paper contains ethylene vinyl acetate and polyvinyl acetate which is basically used in carpet glue. The cigarette would go out and when relit would cause sparks and often a 1-inch diameter fireball. I purchased some non FSC cigarettes and the symptoms stopped. The FSC cigarettes is hurting older persons more especially if they have heart or lung problems. I guess the government is trying to eliminate them first. Most of the older people do not realize what is causing their new problems because no one has informed them of these cigarette changes. Their doctors don't realize or are too busy trying to sell their AMA stop-smoking services and products. This law trying to save some of the 800 persons per year caused by carless cigarette smoking is actually testing the carpet glue on some 20% of Americans.
Our state governments have failed us. The FDA now has the power to regulate cigarettes. The Food and Drug Administration is a regulatory agency with the scientific expertise to identify harmful substances in products to which consumers are exposed. If hamburger is making people sick in the US then products are recalled and pulled off the shelves with a lot of testing to find the cause. Almost every state has passed the fire safe cigarette laws to decrease approximately 800 deaths from smoking related fires. (800 as opposed to 400, 000 deaths in the United States each year from tobacco products.) These FSC cigarettes have added more toxic amounts of ethylene vinyl acetate and polyvinyl acetate to the non-tobacco ingredients of cigarettes produced in the paper. The FDA needs to test the difference in toxic levels between the non-FSC and the new FSC cigarettes and report on the difference. But this is not important to the FDA because they are worried about young people smoking flavor cigarettes. Because of lack of news coverage most people don't realize that the FSC cigarettes are making them sick. The FDA has a responsibility to all Americans not just to the non smokers.

I'd like to smoke my cigarette before it goes out. K thanks. I used to look forward to smoking but now I look forward to finding the few remaining packs of Marlboro Menthol Lights in NC with out FSC above the UPC. I am very disappointed in PMorris. Why should prices keep going up if we're getting a unsatisfactory product. At first I thought it was me just not puffing on it hard enough but then a friend pointed out that FSC was supposed to prevent a dumb*** from catching things on fire. hahaha why must they take simple pleasures away from us Americans? I have been a loyal CUSTOMER for years and the CUSTOMER is ALWAYS right!

...the price thing is just another capitalist move by our government that, unfortunately we are forced to deal with. However, whatever Marlboro has done to the cigarettes and for whatever reason... it is ABSURD. Like the post earlier stated, not only is it an inconvenience - it is a SAFETY HAZARD! I disgree for the high prices of marlboro brands and also evry time we buy cigarrettes they all chage taxes when it says on the bottom of the pack that taxes have been paid.

I agree. Just posted about this on another complaint board. My cigarettes just went up to 60.00 a carton (!) and they are a pain to smoke any more instead of a pleasure.

I also have been sick with headaches, nausea, tightness in my chest and also stomach problems. i do have some food allergies but have not broke out in hives in a long time, now i am and also have a sinus infection that i wouldnt doubt id from these cigarettes, i also am thinking of changing brands thinking maybe the difference in the tatse will some how make the other ok...dont know what to do someone please help us.

here in canada when they forced companies to add chemicals (not carbon monoxide, that is a byproduct of incomplete combustion) in their ciggarettes there was an obvious change in the flavour. It has been a few years since they made that change here, but I do recall how utterly disappointed in the chemical taste that myself and my friends were experiencing. i feel your pain, but unfortunately have no solutions... though i suspect buying rolling tobacco may be a way around that, but then again they might still spray whatever chemical on that stuff too

I am extremely disappionted in the fact that I no longer have a choice, regarding cigarettes. As a tobacco consumer I pay more federal and state taxes than non smokers. We are being treated like second class citizens as well as criminals during the middle ages. The FSC cigarettes not only destroy the taste but they are making all of us sick. I am being forced to quit due to the addition of these chemicals. Regardless of the reasoning behind this, I would love to know the statistics of cigarette related fires.

I unexpectedly purchased a pack of FSC cigarettes. Upon smoking one of the aformentioned cigarettes I became sick to my stomach, accompanied with dry heaves that led to violent vomiting. The chemicals in these FSC cigarettes need to undergo further consumer consumption testing before being exclusively sold.

As if it's not enough that you @#$% addicted us to your product, now you have ruined the flavor and enjoyment of it by requiring that it be constantly relit or "huffed back to life". I have been having issues with coughing and headaches since smoking the FSC cigarettes, so when are we the consumers going to filled in on what exactly is in these cigarettes? I have checked your website for the ingredients that have been added, but you will not display these for fear of competitors getting the information. So I was wondering how the FDA approved any changes and what long term studies they and you have done as to the harmful additives that go in these type of cigarettes. Where can I get a copy of this report? I know that smoking has health realted issuses that go along with usage, but I'm telling you that more and more people are going to start having health issuses with this new paper. I as a smoker of many years have continued to smoke regardless of cost or health risks but now I'm rethinking that position. So I guess what I should say is thank you for giving the reason to finally stop. Your revenues are going to suffer, your consumers are going to suffer, and I hope people start to look into the additives that you are using.

These new FSC cigarettes which are designed to reduce the risk of burning down your house are more dangerous than the old non-fsc cigarettes. Almost every time that I smoke one of these new FSC Marlboros the cherry falls off or the ashes just spontaneously fall off on me. I never had this problem with the old style. We actually burned a hole in our couch the other day because the cherry just fell off for no reason. This is not the only complaint about this new formula, besides the safety issue, these cigarettes burn out all the time and have to be re-lit, they taste terrible and they throw white sparks off of them occasionally as though they have been dusted with gun powder. Find another way to make them idiot proof instead of making them worse...or better still, let people take some responsibility for their own actions. If you aren't careful enough to not burn down your house with your cigarettes, then perhaps you shouldn't be smoking them in the first place.

Me and my wife have been smoking Marlboro for years and we were able to buy them until today with out the fsc we had to pay more for the original Marlboro now we cannot and I cannot smoke them they make me sick not minor they give me head aches and extreme sinus problems and a sore throat it is awful now we have no choice but to quit i hope that Marlboro is being paid good by the government for this but me and my wife and and all my family father mother brother grandmother and a quite of few friends now they have lost a lot of business I sure hope that some one in Marlboro reads this and realize that this is about the worse business move they have made in their history every business owner and retailer and any one that ever has done any kind of business

Almost all USA made Marlboros are FSC. They changed the paper to burn slower but it kills smokers faster. Marlboros taste really harsh now. I am sure it is because fire-safe paper is constructed by gluing two or three thin bands of less-porous paper together with an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion based adhesive (carpet glue). FSC cigarettes can be identified the FSC above the barcode on the pack. I am not going to smoke carper glue, I switched to overseas cigarettes from http://www.azcigs.com/ they still safe normal cigarettes.

In 2008, I became very ill. I was coughing, choking in my sleep, vomiting, major headaches, and extremely severe pain in my legs, muscles and joints. It was so bad, i had to be assisted in walking and had to buy a 4 wheeler to get around my farm.Doctors could not find out what was wrong with me. I thought I was going to die. after 20k in medical tests a friend asked me if i was smoking FSC cigs, i said i dont know, what is that. I was told it was a poison chemical being put in cigs now and i was not aware this was going on. I had wondered why they kept going out when i set them down and why i had to drag more often to keep it lit. Once i learned of this BS, i stopped smoking my brand and switched to a non FSC brand. In one week, the symptoms started going away and after one month, i could walk again. almost 4 monthes now and nearly all the pain is gone and i can fuction again with out being assisted. Doctors were amazed that this had happened and that the FSC WAS the cause of my near death. What the hell is this country coming to? It is time we take back our rights! Any attorneys out there have the balls to go after these jack ###?

Marlboros have completely lost the taste that I craved. Smoking one now is like smoking an imposter. I really miss the pleasure that I used to get from a Marlboro. Now they are dull and lifeless. They have taken something out of Marlboro Red Box that made them great. Now they are bland and lifeless. I'm switching to American Spirit. No more Marlboro loyalty.

I have been a hard core Marlboro smoker for 20 +years. After smoking these new FSC smokes, all I can say is "I AM DONE". The constant coughing that I have aquired now is just getting out of control. I work at a local convenience store, the complaints on the FSC is UNREAL. Customers are threatening to quit smoking solely because of the FSC additive. I too am a smoker, I realize the reason why the additive is in there, but I still do not like it. The ash problem is going to cause a fire before a whole lit cigarette will ever. I was sitting here watching TV after work, relaxing and smoking, an ash fell and burnt a hole in my new work jacket. Now how am I going to explain that? This is something I have to pay for because of this new "safer" cigarette. This was a really bad idea, and all complaints should be taken into consideration by the tobacco industry. It is costing everyone more money because of having to puff more so the cigarettes won't go out, and causing way too many complications. I have not had any of the headaches or nose bleed or migrianes that I have read about, but I cannot quit coughing. This is not a smokers cough, I was in the hospital 6 months ago, I was told by a nurse that I had the clearest lungs she had ever heard in a smoker. I bet she wouldn' t say that now.

I have always wondered how the USA will end... This FSC cigarette standard will surely divide the USA as its never been divided before. Just imagine upsetting and poisoning millions of addicted smokers and their potential feelings and unknown reactions. Instead of educating the public of ALL the dangers of smoking they have chosen to NOT TRUST the smoking American public and force Ethyl Vinyl Acetate laden FSC cigarettes upon them. Well I have been thinking about this whole FIRE SAFETY thing and how smokers have been singled out by Government and NFPA National Fire Protection Association. This is most unfortunate as I see many other dangerous activities and situations that are just as dangerous as smoking cigarettes. Should Government and NFPA act upon other sources of fire ignition? Such as burning candles, space heaters, fireplaces, outdated home appliances and electrical wiring, natural gas lines and BBQ propane tanks. Or how about stop making flammable cars or truck or issuing drivers licenses to younger inexperienced and older brain dead drivers to reduce car accidents resulting in explosive fireballs. Hydrogen powered engines is out of the question. Lawn mowers and other small engines that tend to spark should be illegal and banned. I am sure camping and having camp fires should be illegal to prevent forest fires. Boy Scouting could become a thing of the past. All the restaurants that use ovens, burners, butter and cooking grease should be made to close and ONLY sandwich shops serving cold cuts and bags of chips should remain open. And on and on... The only good thing is these FSC cigarettes might save 700 to 1000 lives a year but the unknowns from this action and what this action will lead too remains to be seen and surly will be a divisive force to ultimately destroy the USA - UNITED STATES of AMERICA. This country is in danger and not united and is more divided than ever before. Democrats rise and Republicans sit and independents cant even get a chair or even a word in edgewise. Don't get me wrong I love my country and really don't care what someone does as long as it does not effect me. I am a long time American smoker that does not like or appreciate others telling me what to do and tricking me (not notifying) by placing EVA Carpet Glue chemicals into my cigarettes and making me sick. Some say there is one thing worse than a Heroin addict and thats a person addicted to cigarettes. Soon there will be millions of trembling, pissed off, creative, free thinking smokers to contend with. Way to go NFPA and the US Government I sense you just drove the last nail into your very own coffins and destroyed individual rights that took many years and lives to create. Only time will tell the consequences of the forced introduction of the FSC cigarette and its Patented "Speed Bump" paper. Philip Morris has exclusive rights to use, sell and distribute this paper to all cigarette manufacturers which will make them tons of money in exchange for destroying the rights of individuals in the USA. Every time you drive or smoke over a "Speed Bump" remember its because someone or something out there does NOT TRUST YOU and wants to take your money for NOTHING ! GET IT !

I've been going to Medical associates of Marlboro four years. I also was a patient long before the new group took over. My only complaint is when I go for a well check up. I end up sick a week later and then it goes into my asthma. I would like to see some circulation of the air in the office during the winter so the well people have half of a chance staying well.

I don't normally smoke MM's, but my local grocery has had them buy one get one the last week or so. I'm having the same problem, but I think I've found the culprit. I live in PA, and here (I'm sure this will be true in all states soon) the state gov'mt has decided that all cigarettes must be "fire safe." Apparently a lot of fatal fires have been caused by people falling asleep with a lit cigarette. The cigarettes snuff themselves out as to not catch fire if the smoker loses the cigarette for some reason. All I know is that these new cigarettes snuff themselves ridiculously fast, and drop ash everywhere. I could deal with that, what has me godsmacked is that the cherry falls off and I've burned myself and my carpet more in the last week or so than I have in years. It's insane!

Long time Marlboro customer. But.. no longer. Tired of constant relighting cigs 2 to 4 times each cig. But yet, if I were to but down in ash tray.. then they keep burning to the end. I think I'm going through 2-3 times as many lighters as result. This is stupid and completely unenjoyable. Who knows what chemical is added to make these FSC cigs. Not cool Marlboro! I guess Marlboro and any other FSC brands don't want our money anymore. They could have just told that to us consumers they don't really want our money anymore instead of causing us lots of frustration and wasted money. Now i will go to natural tobacco cigs like a friend of mine smoke. You can either roll your own or they have machines that make just like commercial brands. Нes such sometimes happens. At me last year was approximately also

1) Not all brands are fire safe (Camels and Marlboro are)
2) It's not the paper its "saftey rings" Doubled up sections of paper like rings about every 1/4inch that act like a speed bump and burn them out if left unattended.
3) The test they use to prove if a Cig is firesafe is flawed and doesn't work. The lay the Cig flat on paper and if at least 75% of 40 cigs tested burn out it passes.
4) You can walk and talk and 75% will burn themselves out but if you leave one unattended (NOT LAYING ON PAPER) it will burn to the filter.

I live in the state of New Hampshire. Only in the past year did the cigarettes here start to taste really bad or lack in taste. It's horrible! I've bought some packs with FSC on the label that tasted like they should, but the more recent ones either had NO taste at all or they're horrible. They stop burning, the cherry (lit end) falls off, I'll cough like a manic, and the phlegm in the morning would be terrible. I'd also have these large, hard-like booger things grow in the back of my throat that would choke me. After I dropped the Marlboro brand these symptoms all stopped. I have been smoking for many years, and while I realize it is NOT a healthy habit, even I know that the changes in these FSC cigarettes are causing these symptoms. Non-smokers can say whatever they want and claim that these symptoms are just from years of smoking (this is what the Government wanted to happen anyway), but I know better. I've had a physical and everything checked out fine. Nothing is WRONG with me, and my doctor knows I smoke. So stuff that in your pipes and smoke it, non-smokers.

Fireproff my butt, they are a fire hazard, I have burnt my legs while sitting at my computer as well as in lawn chairs, and a cherry falls off, burnt my bedspread, carpeting, floors, you just never know when it is going to fall off and that is fireproof? One fell off in my laundry basket, I had a plastic bag on the bottom a small fire but this is assinnine. This are FSC cigarettes, the USA gov approves the low which require the tobacco industry to use fire-[censor]ant paper in all cigarettes to make them self-extinguish...[censor] inventyed by anti-smokers. Some consumers claim they have found a noticeable difference in the taste of FSC cigarettes from non-FSC cigarettes, comparing it to a copper or metallic taste. Other symptoms reported include an itchy rash, (allergic reaction), severe headache, vomiting, diarrhea, mouth sores, and nose bleeds. I was scared to death than i found this information, for along time I am smoking cigarettes from manufactured in East Europe, I got them online from 2000.cigs fortunately their tobacco manufacturers produce non-fsc cigarettes, they are cheap, they are tasty.

Wow, I found this web sight by searching the internet because I have noticed the same thing but just recently. Keeps going out and the cherry falls off. I knew something was wrong and these complaints convinced me that I am not crazy. I thought that I got a bad batch or something but the last few cartons were the same.

Sdalton912 - I agree! I was on a retreat, I was bumming smokes for awhile until my Salem 100's arrived from a friend. I was smoking Marlboro red 100's. One drag, big deep drag like I take with my Salem's and I inhaled deeply in my way, and I got an instant sore throat. The smoke was harsh, hot, tasteless, and nasty. I would rather inhale a cigar, in fact it was like inhaling a cheap, thin cigar. I never liked Marlboros anyway, but I never remembered them to be that bad. Later that day, I bummed a Marlboro light short, and I got a nasty headache and nausea. Now since I was temporarily bumming smokes, "beggars can't be choosers". But I would quit smoking if the only cigarettes available were Marlboros, and I love to smoke either Salem 100's, Newport 100's, or B & H Menthol 100's full flavor. In my opinion, they are using "wet tobacco", and hanging it in the drying silos way to long, so It stales off. They are probably spraying it with too much ammonia to increase the nicotine release. But I have learned that nicotine has a property that will stop headaches. I don'y know, but people have been hospitalized from smoking these new Marlboros. Switch brands until they start getting more feedback. I recommend Winston 100''s full flavor, which are a good fresh, smooth smoke for non-menthol smokers. They use fine tobaccos, and are made my R.J. Reynolds, and company that produce Salem brands. Or go ahead and just try a pack of Salem 100's green label, full flavor. You won't be disappointed! Buy for now, I would stay away from the big Reds if I were you as well as their nasty light partners in the evil white pack. God, I hate Marlboros!

I think its the FSC, and here in Egypt they didnt print the FSC logo on the box, I have a terrible caugh now and will change marlboro red for sure after 20 years of smoking it.

I have just come back from Sharm El Sheikh and bought back Malboro Lights from my hotel which have the health warnings on which taste like they are laced with something... They really hit the back of the throat and taste rather disgusting. I was warned that the ones without the health warnings are from China and a hell of a lot cheaper, so i stayed well clear of those ones. However when I was at the airport I bought a couple of cartons which don't have a health warning picture just arabic writing, these taste a little better. Does anyone agree? Which are the original Malboro's in Egypt?

I'm complaining regarding the new Marlboro (ultra light) in Egypt, i spoke 2 packs a day but i got a serious problem, with all of it.
The cigarette is not glued around the filter properly, and it's leaking air in like hell.

HOW ABOUT YOU TRY NOT SMOKING CIGARETTES!

OF COURSE THEY TASTE BAD, THEY ARE POISON...DUH...

I bought 2 cartons of Marlboro Black/ Red 100 every time i smoke I have to relight several I am ready to change brands. I have burn hole in my couch and carpet over that, You have changed something in the way its made

I smoke Marlboro Red Label 100's and my husband smokes Marlboro Black Label Kings and we both are having the same issues. I have smoked a variety of Marlboros and have found that all of them have these issues. The 3 main issues we have are:

1.) The Cherry always falls off near the end of the cigarette and sometimes even the middle.

2.) The cigarette randomly goes out for no reason.

3.) There have been sticks and/or tears and cuts through the paper making some cigarettes unsmokable.

Now I understand that that issue #2 ( randomly goes out) is to help prevent fires by making the cigarettes go out when not being continuously smoked but this does not work all the time and even when it is being continuously smoked they tend to go out anyway.

Issue # 1 (cherries falling off) is my biggest complaint because considering they are trying to help prevent accidental fires, the cherries falling off defeats that purpose and causes more accidental fires, burns, and holes in clothing, furniture, etc. So whats the point? Every Marlboro does this every time it gets near the end so its not a fluke or it only happens sometimes. It happens EVERY TIME. This is irritating and costly.

Issue #3 (stick, tears, holes, cuts, etc) I have found these issues in more than 1 pack of cigarettes recently. I have even had a pack that had 3 cigarettes with tears in the paper that looked like they were cut by a razor blade and in the same pack I had 2 cigarettes with tears due to big sticks in the cigarettes. What happened to the quality? Where is quality control? As much as a pack of Marlboros cost every single cigarette should be smokable period. When I pay for a pack of 20 cigarettes I want to smoke ALL 20.

These are my biggest complaints and I'm sure there are tons of smokers who can relate and feel the same way as I do.

Please get your $**t together Marlboro! It is not a lack of funds that is preventing you to put out quality cigarettes.

Very disappointed. Have been smoking Malboro and beyond since the get go and have come across cigarettes without the bubble! Not Malboro quality and for a hefty price!
