MakeMyTrip Double charged for the bus tickets

Hello Team

I am reaching out to you on behalf of my father who was charged wrongly for the tickets he never intended to book. On February 20, 2023, he was browsing for the bus tickets from Ahmedabad to Bhavnagar and he found a bus (which route actually never existed!). He selected that bus assuming that that's the right fit for him and booked 2 tickets. Just after booking the tickets, the bus that selected did not show up and some other route was there. He had to book the tickets for the second time. I wonder how the bus route that never exists can show on the bus list of Make My trip! He owes you Rs. 291.90 as his refund.

MakeMyTrip Refund

hi team, i had booked a trip to Bali which i am unable to take now, as i and my partner are not well. i had mailed (sneha) from your team about the same along with medical proofs. however, there is no update for the same. please let me know the status and the amount that will be refunded and by what date. in case the amount is being deducted, please let me know other options such as credit note, date extension or name change option. would request an early resolution to this please. the booking amount is quite huge for me, and since, you as a company are a partner to the airline and hotels, please try to accomodate full refund as soon as possible

MakeMyTrip Refund of cancelled ticket - rail travel - konkan kanya express

Dear Make my Trip Team,

I would like to bring to your kind attention that I have made a booking of  2 Nos Rail Ticket through your portal on 13th December 2022, bearing Booking Id  NR2603710960854450 and NR2521410680099200 for Rail Travel on Konkan kanya Express Sector  Madgaon - Dadar Travel Date on 26th February 2023. The said Tickets have been cancelled by me on 23rd January 2023 as per the attached mail.

I have neither received the refund of the said Tickets in my Account nor does it reflect in my Credit Card Statement. 

I have waited for the refund period mentioned by your portal for both the tickets. SInce I have not received the payment in my bank account I have raised tickets as well on the portal as available. The revised dates too have elapsed. I have neither received the Payment in my Account not in my Credit Card Statement.

You are hereby requested to make the payment in my Account immediately. I shall wait for the payment till Monday 20th February 2023. Failing which, I shall be forced to approach the Consumer Court for the same.

MakeMyTrip Dubai visa is delayed/ NV200221674606

Well I have applied for Dubai visa for me and two of my friends through make my trip on 1st January 2023 and the application submitted to embassy by mmt on 16 January and it was showing visa would be available on 23rd but after the give date passed away the company started showing visa is delayed and today it is 3 February still no visa document is provided to me by make mytrip so I’m very doubtful about this company reputation and request the company to please send my visa documentation on my mail address. I am also attaching one of our visa approval screenshot with screenshot of delay in application by makemytrip.

MakeMyTrip Refund

hi,

I had booked a return flight for 11th Feb -114th Feb JDH-DEL-JDH for the two of us. During booking I had paid extra for travel assist insurance from Reliance hoping that if it be cancelled I will get a full refund.

Today For personal reasons I intended to cancel both flight but during cancellation process I came to know that insurance is applicable only if trip is cancelled by airline and not by me , AMAZING. If trip is cancelled by airline , airline will automatically refund ,no insurance is needed.

I had a similar flight booked through Yatra where insurance was done by Liberty care insurance and I got full refund from insurance company.

What makes me amazed is the fact that while booking a flight these minor change of words are done by MMT which makes a customer confused viz "Travel cancellation insurance" which in routine means a full refund in case of change of plan.

At the time of Booking travel insurance was added in the hope that I will get refund in case of cancellation but to my surprise when I actually decided to cancel my trip that too about 14 days prior to departure,calculated refund was ZERO.I tried to contact Helpline no response. Ultimately contacted Reliance insurance company .Amazing reply, insurance is for trip cancellation by airlines and not if I cancel my trip. Who will take such insurance? I have still not cancelled my trip schedule on 11th of Feb and still trying to contact various forums like this. Surprisingly there is no direct Helpline email too. In a similar case I had a trip cancelled on Yatra ,partial payment refunded from Yatra and remaining amount is under process from Liberty insurance.

MakeMyTrip Refund for train ticket cancellation not credited

Hi

I booked three train tickets on 24th September 2022 from Ahmedabad to New Delhi for 21st October 2022. Refer to the following details of the ticket below.

MakeMyTrip ID: NR7514707824815844

PNR No: [protected]

Transaction ID: [protected]

The train ticket was cancelled and the refund amount has already been deposited to MakeMyTrip account by IRCTC on 23rd October 2022 with refund ID [protected]. But the amount has not been credited to my source account even after 3 months. No one is picking up my calls in MakeMyTrip customer care as well. This is very disappointing and bad experience.

I have attached the train ticket along with the refund receipt from IRCTC to MakeMyTrip account.

I want the amount to be credited to my source account as soon as possible. If the amount is not deposited to my account at the earliest, I will take this case to the consumer court for strict action.

MakeMyTrip Thailand package booked for 11th january 2023

Hello

We had booked a package to Phuket on January 11th 2023 but due to the Covid restrictions I had requested a change to the destination as Thailand was the 06 countries where RTPCR was manadatory to enter India we had discussed the matter with Ms. Nidhi Basra who was the tour coordinator from Make My Trip for change to the destination as we cannot take risk of traveling to Thailand due to covid risk as we cannot travel to Thailand and get infected with Covid and get quarantined in Thailand. Will Make my trip take the cost if we are blocked to travel back to India. I am a regular customer with Makemytrip since 15 years now and have been regularly travelling through Makemytrip

MakeMyTrip Reg the refund of cancelled trip.

Sir,

We have booked 5 tickets from Chennai to Aurangabad (via Mumbai) thro' Make my Trip App, on 23/12/2022 (date of Travel is 07/02/2023), and out of it, one Ticket was cancelled by me thro' Indigo Customer Care Executive.

The PNR No. is GJ3Q7L. AND the cancelled passenger name is Sandhiya Marudhachalam, whose is a Senior Citizen.

The Indigo Executive says, full refund has been raised.

But in my Make my trip Account it reflects Zero refund.

(The Ticket was cancelled within 24 hours of booking)

It is requested to go through my Account and refund the Amount early, and the make intimation to be reflected in my Account please.

No action has been taken against my cancellation of ticket so far.

It is totally unfair on your part.

i have received full refund on the other ticket, booked for the same person Sandhiya Marudachalam in the return journey from Mumbai to Chennai ( PNR No. is OTH4YNT) , and the same was promptly cancelled and refunded.

But for the cancellation of one ticket in the onward journey (Out of 5) , bearing the PNR No. GJ3Q7L , it was refelected as Zero refund, though the airlines has refunded the amount to you.

In this regard it is requested to go through this and refund my amount early please.

MakeMyTrip Rude behavior and extra money charged by cab driver - booking id nc7667074345718

I had booked a cab for travel from Chennai Airport to Choolaimedu (Chennai) vide booking ID NC7667074345718. I had booked the cab for 6 PM as I was flying from Mumbai to Chennai and my flight was scheduled to reach Chennai by 5:45 PM.

However, the flight got delayed and thereafter I took some time in collection of my luggage from the belt. I could finally take the cab at 6:30 only.

As per the policy mentioned on MMT, waiting charges apply after 45 minutes of schedule time. Thus, in this case no late charges were applicable as I boarded within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. However, upon reaching the destination the driver behaved very rudely and demanded extra money for waiting charges. I tried to explain him but he did not want to understand. Finally, he let me go only after he charged me Rs.150 extra as waiting charges and collected the amount in cash.

I gave the same feedback on MMT app as well upon completion of the trip. But have not heard from MMT on this. Nor any action has been taken against the driver.

Desired outcome: Need the refund of the amount I paid extra. Also action to be taken against the driver.

MakeMyTrip Refund not received

I had booked a ticket from Ho Chin Minh- Bangalore on 28 September 2022.

I got information on that the flight has been canceled. I requested for the refund. In spite of repeated requests, I have not received my refund.

Please help and process my refund so that I can book another ticket back home.

Please help.

I had booked the ticket on 28 September 2022.

my Booking ID: AN2I7WMRAFWK7BPB1263

I got a message on On 13 Oct I got a mail saying that VIETJET airways had canceled the flight.

In spite of repeated requests, the refund has not been made yet.

Could you please help me with the refund process as I have to book another ticket?

The airlines said 30-60 days,

It has passed the set number of days but no refund.

Kindly help me to process the refund Please!

MakeMyTrip Jain vegetarian meal not provided though was confirmed at the time of booking

Number of Pax: 9

Type of Meal: Jain vegetarian meal

In the flight we were told that the flight was not informed of meal preferences though we had booked all these well in advance. Hence we did not get a lunch though I have paid for it for all the 9 pax on this sector.

When I contacted Bangkok Airways (both at BKK airport and also their reservation desk), they responded on 10-Oct that the travel agent was informed that the meal request was rejected at the time of booking 12-Jun.

But I never received any input from Makemytrip about the rejection and hence I ended up not having lunch on the flight. We have 2 senior citizens on the flight who went hungry, apart from the rest of us.

Hence I need to be compensated by MakemyTrip for the same.

MakeMyTrip Lock charges not adjusted

I had locked the price for Mumbai to Kochi flight 6E - 453 on 23/0ct/22 by paying Rs 4998. It was said that , this amount will be adjusted in real booking. But it is not seen as deducted. I had to pay more than 40K for Mumbai to Kochi Flight for 2 persons

MakeMyTrip Unsuccessful booking and Refund issue

I've booked and air ticket on 9th Oct 2022 with wrong date and cancelled the booking immediately, selected the refund to MMT Wallet. Wallet is showing the amount so have booked another ticket with the correct date choosing the payment from MMT Wallet. Where as both the bookings are captured under Unsuccessful booking.

So would like to check on the refund status to proceed with fresh booking.

MakeMyTrip No consolidated invoice/receipt for a Air journey made

I made a flight journey from BLR-ICN (Bangalore-Incheon) and back with layovers at KLIA (Kuala Lumpur Int'l Airport) (Malaysia Airlines) on 10 Sept and 25 Sept respectively. I still have not received a consolidated receipt for the same, even thought I paid extra as this was a changed itinerary.

The itinerary was changed from the original booking id of NN2114251363892

MakeMyTrip Amount not received. But the site shows money has been refunded.

I booked Train Ticket on 19 September 2022 (3:50 pm). But the booking failed due to technical glitch (as they say). But the Amount was deducted from my bank account. It was stated that the refund will take 1-2 working days. Today is 22 September and still, the amount has not been refunded to my bank account but the refund status on the site shows the amount has been refunded. I tried calling helpline but it's saying call cannot be connected. Am I being scammed? I am completely sure I booked from the official site of Makemytrip. They msg me saying executive will call you withing 48 hours but no has called yet. I am worried.

MakeMyTrip Refund issue

I have booked a train ticket on 06 Sept 2022 with free cancellation assurance but infortunately later on I had to cancel it. I called the customer care to ask about the refund they said it will take 10 days, and I waited. Then in the website, it shows refund processed but the money is till now not credited to in my account. I am trying to call them but noone answer my phone. I can't write an email because all the email that I tried are incorrect.

Guys I advise you not to use make my trip to book anything, if the customer support is not assisting you, what's the point. Better check another website even if you had to pay a little bit more but at least you are sure that there will never be any error.

I had cancelled my tickets last year and i was supposed to get my refund within a week. Its almost been a year and yet I didn't receive any refund nor a proper response for it. I have been sending plenty of mails to the team, but could not find a single responsible person in your company. Such a shame it is.

MakeMyTrip Money deducted but booking was not confirmed

On 02, September 2022 I booked a bus ticket from Chandigarh to Srikaranpur for 03, September 2022. Later when i was on my way to board the bus i received a WhatsApp message through MakeMyTrip which stated that my transaction has failed, and my booking is not confirmed. and then i checked the MMT app which was showing that my ticket is not confirmed. In order to further check it i contacted the bus service provider and he told me that no ticket is booked by my name. As it was really urgent for me to board the bus i again booked another ticket through some other app. Later, i lodged a complaint through MMT app only on 08, September 2022to get my refund back and when i lodged that complaint the app was showing that my ticket was confirmed. I don't know what is wrong with their system or is it some kind of fraud they are doing with innocent customers. It's been 5 days since i lodged that complaint but there has been no response from their side till today. No customer service is there, and no number is given by them to contact them.

I hope my matter get resolved soon.

MakeMyTrip Domestic Flight Booking

Booking of Mr Vishal Gala & Mrs. Chaitali Gala flight from Bengaluru to Mumbai via Indigo Airlines.

Flight cancelled by Airline and whole amt. refunded to MMT.

why has it deducted Convinience Fee of Rs. 580/- .

If i book another flight then i would pay this fees twice for the same journey.

I should get a full refund of Rs. 6772/-

I tried calling their helpline. The operator put my call on hold and did not respond after i wasted 15 min explaining my querry.
