Da Kanda Villa Beach Resort - being treated like a atm dog
Prior to my check-in at the hotel I received a notification from my bank that Da Kanda has taken the full amount for my 7 night stay with them from my account Upon arrival I asked them why they did not give me a choise because I withdrew cash to pay them and now I have to deposite it again paying banking fees all the way They treated me like a dog yelling at me Later it was stated that I had to phone prior to arrival to make payment arrangements and that this their policy otherwise they will just take it from your account It is not on their website so how was I suppose to know?
When I asked them about the mini bar as per my reservation reception just said there is non When I asked for hangers for my clothes they said go and buy A tourist next door from me who has the same room tipe than me felt sorry for me and gave me the 6 she got with her room I still have to find the fire place as it is indicated on my reservation confirmation
When I went for breakfast I ordered a dish of 120 bath They charged me 150 bath and when I pointed it out to the waitress she got angry with me
I asked reception why I was paying for a room nearly 1200 bath but the other tourists pay around 650 for the very same room as mine She said is because I used Hotels.com and becauase I booked in February The rooms were more expensive then so that is what I pay now When I tried to explain to her that it is not fair she raised her voice again
I had to go to another hotel next to Da Kanda to give me advice on renting a bike and tours Da Kanda reception refuse to greet me or assist me with basics I will propably have to buy toilet paper aswell and clean my room myself
I have never been treated this bad in 30 years of travelling Never ever ... like a dog
I have told Hotels.com yesterday on facebook that I do not want to be here and to advise They never came back to me
I felt like going to the police today because I am treated as if I have no worth
