Lennar review: Deposit refund issue after my mortgage was denied by lennar mortgage 4

Purchased a Lennar new construction in June, we were also highly influenced to use Lennar Mortgage. After a 3 month+ long good faith effort (by submitting what we think MORE documents than necessary), we finally got denied. As we then contact the salesperson and talked about cancel the contract, they refused to refund my deposit of 34000+ (5% of purchase price) and threatens to bill 10% of purchase price + any other damages.

I read a similar thread on this website and found out that there are even more victims out there. I am calling out to anyone who fall to the same scam and please contact me, we are stronger together otherwise will be easily crushed by a huge company like Lennar

I feel their contract is deceptive -- so unilateral so they get away with cased that by common sense would be not buyer' fault, a loan which is denied by themself is strong enough for them to initial a cancellation of contract, to start with, which is part of wording in their favor themself contract!

I am in initial contact with a class action lawyer but I will need to get more plaintiff to make this case stronger
