In July, 2011, I purchased a Comfort-Bilt 32" Highland White Storm Door from Lowe's and had them install it. A few years later, I noticed that the aluminum on the inside of the door was starting to crack and peel. When I located my receipt and relevant paperwork ( July 17, 2019), I went to Lowe's with the documentation and photos. I was advised to contact Larson. A Larson representative sent me a warranty complaint form to fill in. I sent the requested information to Larson (Reference # WQ550555) and received an e-mailed response offering me $20 off on a new Larson storm door. My door was only guaranteed for 5 years. My door is literally, rotting away. I contacted Lowe's hoping that they could help me. They (Greg, the department manager in the Lumberton, NJ store), contacted Larson. Larson refused to do more for me. I have all of my original receipts, correspondence, photos. This morning, I looked on-line for contact information for Larson Manufacturing in order to register a complaint about the terrible quality of the storm door. That is when I discovered that numerous other consumers have had the same problem with both the deteriorating door and the unresponsiveness of the company. I also came across your website. A legitimate company would admit the faultiness of the door design and replace and install another door that would not rot away after a few years. An offer of $20 off another door was ridiculous and an insult.
