I went there to buy a car because I was sent an email that I was approved for a car loan and they couldget me into a car. I went there and they told me that the only car with my credit that I could get was a 2010 jeep compass. When you turn on the car the dash lit up like a christmas tree! The check engine light was on among others. Jake, the salesman said oh thats just the tire sensor that went bad we'll fix that! As things went on i've learned that they totally tried to sell me a junk car, then treated horribly when I tried to get answers! Do not do business with these people!
Illegally took my car
About 3 weeks ago I purchased a car from Larry Spacc GMC in Dunkirk NY. In short, the Retail Installment Contract was signed and all the other paperwork as well. One week later the dealer called me saying that they were not able to sell the contract to a bank but could to another bank if I put $800 more down and raised my interest rate. I said NO and Larry Spacc said I would then have to return the car. The contact I signed is between the car dealer and me and says nothing about needing to sell the contract to a bank. So there for the car is mine unless I default on the loan. A week later the dealer repo'd the car on grounds that I was not honest about my financial situation and hid information from them. Funny thing is that they had a copy of my paycheck with all the information needed right there.. So they are LYING/. DO NOT SHOP AT LARRY SPACC GMAC! I will be filling a lawsuit and they will be brought to justice?. I will also ensure that all possible media coverage about this crime is covered as much as possible.. Consider this my mission!. i work for a subprime auto finance company and i am very familiar with this situation its not that they couldnt sell the contract its that what ever company they had you loan lined up with did not give them the money for the deal (funding) that is the risk that dealers take when doing subprime auto finance. it is an unfortunate situation that nobody likes to see hapen but it is a reality. i can tell you from experience you have no leg to stand on in court so i wouldnt waste your time i would be interested to hear an update on the situation?
