unethical behaviour
I Trade my perfectly running Toyota Fortuner for a cheaper BMW320D to get some cash for personal reasons. The BMW was "from a elderly man" and in tip top condition. Had it for four months and 1200km when it broke down. VLA said they would repair it free of charge if it is not a "wear and tear issue".After months and numerous hideous incidents they refuse to fix it. First it was a pump fault, then the injectors. They had the injectors serviced and on request for the printout they said that they didn't get one. The car wouldn't start so now it was the crank pickup which they wanted a R3800 deposit to change. I refused and I didn't hear anything concerning the sensor again. After weeks passed I contacted them to find out what the state of my car is on which they replied that there must be an electrical problem and they are taking the car to an auto electrician. After another few weeks they mailed me a quotation to fix the car. Now the problem has changed to water in the fuel? According to them the injector tips burned? However they were reconditioned a few weeks earlier by the car dealer! This "auto electrician" stated that they have put injectors from another engine in mine and started it? They never flushed the fuel system or changed any filters that may have been damaged by the claimed WATER in the system, so how is it possible to start it then without any further damage? After starting it the engine continued to misfire and then they took it apart and noticed damage to the pistons. They now want me to pay for a secondhand engine and for the labor to replace the engine.
