Last October, I returned a Keurig to Walmart. This was a small unit that cost roughly around $59. I didn't have the receipt but was able to exchange it for one that cost a little more, the KSlim. At this time, I purchased a 2 year warranty. the unit stopped working in April. I took it to Walmart and they told me that since it was less than a year old, it would still be under the manufacturer's warranty and I should contact Keuring. Not going into all the details, but after many emails and phone calls, they totally blew me off. My receipt shows the price of the KSlim AFTER the return, which is @$26. They wanted me to see if Walmart could dig up a copy of the receipt for the returned unit. Then they said that at that price, it was probably used and purchased from an unauthorized dealer. I wrote a letter on April 28 and as of yet have never heard a word from them. I guess I'll wait until October and take it back to Walmart with the warranty that I purchased. I'm really disgusted with these people
Recommendation: Hang on to your receipts and document everything!
