Kansas Department of Labor Non payment

Sick with COVID-19 for 8 weeks Starting in Dec of 2020 haven't received a dime. Can't get on the phone system due to full q. online states no monetary issues yet no funds. It amazes me that prisoners and scammers are paid over 600 billion dollars yet I cannot receive my funds. Things have gotten worst not better. What does KDOL plan on doing? Anything? Do they even care? This is so sad that the Government is so messed up. Yet Gov Kelly says oh its better. Easy for her to say she's getting g paid! Please someone needs to handle this situation. Maybe we need to recall Gov. Kelly.

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment

Was approved for unemployment in January 2021. I'm a Kansas state worker and was out of working hours on November 3rd. March 1st. I have gone back to work. They sent me a letter on how much I was getting. I need paid soon so I can catch up within everything. Call Anna call and no matter what time of day it is their busy and the whole que is full. KDOL needs to be a lot more honest in their business. Fill like I should get a lawyer?

I !like into getting a lawyer you can sue the unemployment. Its sovereign. Total [censored]. Not my fault they laid can need meanwhile I haven't received a dime.

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment insurance

Hello. I work for the Department of wildlife, parks and tourism. I ran out of hours on October 3rd. I filled for unemployment in January 2021. Was approved at this time for unemployment but have not recieved a darn thing. I started back to work March 1st, 2021. I need this unemployment to catch up on everything. Can you please get this resolved?

Kansas Department of Labor Can't contact anyone via phone, email, or mail. No payment for over five months now

I have been trying to reach the call center since my payment was suspended last October. I have even tried to reach someone by uploaded my concerns in my documents and still nothing. I have went to the extent of calling the Kansas Legislator. No one has sent me any information as to why my payments were suspended or what I need to do in order to get my payments going again. I am unable to download a document that was sent because the link is bad.

Kansas Department of Labor I need to get paid my regular ui benefits

I am on regular UI benefits and I was approved for the new system on 2-8-21 and then I received an email from KDOL on 2-18-21 telling me that I was officially verified. On 3-6-21, after calling for 2 weeks straight weeks, I was informed by a KDOL operator that back on 3-1-21 the fraud department had accused me of fraud, but he did NOT know why or what exactly was the evidence against me. on 3-9-21, a message appeared on my online that said" "Payment for the week has been temporarily suspended because of a question regarding your eligibility. A determination notice will be sent to you." Well, today is 3-17-21 and I have NOT received any instructions on how to fight those bogus charges. I need someone from the "fraud department" to talk to me. Why do you accuse people when we are innocent and do not give us the right to fight back? [protected]@yahoo.com is my email.

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment conversation

What is going on with unemployment contacts and payments.
Can not get through on the topeka phone # (785-575-1460) no matter how early, how late or how many times you call. I have a wife and 3 children ages 4, 3 and 1. Checking on getkansasbenefits.gov.
Shows "payment for the week has been temporarily suspended because of a question regarding your eligibility." I have downloaded the answer to the questions, but no response. Do you realize how frustrating and demoralizing it is to continually run into this "government stone wall"

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment claim denied

I filed my claim on the week of 1/26/2021 I answered a question wrong and that one was did I refuse work which is wrong I didn't refuse work I just separated from my employer which was cleared on a determination letter I just need to get the wrong answer off my claim for the week of 1/26/2021 and have that yes answer changed to No please I've call the last 3 weeks I can't get through. They said I have to appeal this but I would think they could fix this to keep from taking up court time. Since it's 2 months behind

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment

I have been laid off from spirit aerosystems since October 14th due to the pandemic, I was receiving unemployment benefits but since the system changes I have yet to receive anything, I have not received anything since January 22nd, I have gone in and created a new account with the new system, filed claims for the last 3 weeks only for the system to automatically suspend my claims due to a question, what question I have no clue, everything I have tried either redirects me to the worthless phone number where nobody can get through, or the website which doesn't give me any of the information or help I need, I have called over 100 times each day with no success, I have no way to pay my bills, rent, or even put food on the table for my family, we need help and not just continually be set aside while we get farther in debt..

It doesnt make a difference how I answer questions for a weekly claim. It gets put on suspend every time forcing me to call. I spend all day for several days NEVER getting through to anyone. My information has not changed since I began drawing unemployment back in fall of 2020. Why have I not been able to recieve any money since one $4 deposit in January?

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment benefits

I am presently furloughed due to C19 and had was receiving benefits. Today I was asked to log in again and when I attempted to do so I was told my password was incorrect. It was the same password I'd been using the whole time. I asked for a reset code but nothing came through. I have never been able to reach the call center and the website gives very little help and what it does say is indecipherable given the jargon being used.
I want to know why my password isn't working and why I can NEVER reach the call center even when it first opens. I didn't choose to be furloughed and I'd rather be working but if I can't log on to benefits then I have no money for bills or food

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment benefits

My name is Rodney Farmer and I live in Lawrence, KS. I have had to miss a substantial amount of work in 2020 due to Covid19. I applied for unemployment benefits and received paperwork not only stating that I qualify, but also the amount I am to receive. Some the claims go back as far as March of 2020. I check the website daily and is still says that the claim has to be processed. Apparently I had owed the state for an overpayment back in 2013 and the state made sure they got what it is that owed before they sent me anything. I am a single Dad who not only have my child's mouth to feed, but also who has bills that are still coming in.

Kansas Department of Labor Pua benefit direct deposit went missing.

After 6 months of battling with kdol said I was eligible for the pua benefit. They were to send it direct deposit on one of my debit cards, opt+. For some reason there was a ko added onto my last name, kdol fault. My debit card, opt +, did receive the funds, via direct deposit.
The opt + bank rejected the direct deposit because of the ko that had been added onto my last name. I called opt + and they informed they had returned the direct deposit to kdol. The pua benefit was a large sum of money, around $17, 000, mainly back pay from may thru december 2020. It seems kdol hasn't a clue where it is and wont tell me anything. Debit card opt + is saying they sent the deposit back.
I am broke and trying to raise 3 grandchildren on my own. Do you know what it's like telling 3 children their not getting anything for Christmas? Instead of being called, "the cares act", it should have been called, " the I really don't care.' I even had the governor's office send me an email saying the would help me after complaining to them. Did the governor's office he[p me? No they didn't, it seems they don't care either. If I were to get $5.00 an hour for every hour I spent on trying to get my pua benefit, I wouldn't need it.
If nothing else happens but to vent a little, I guess it was worth it.

I haven't received a dime. I was told I was approved but nothing. I was off with C19 for 8 weeks. Phone q is full all the time. On line states no payment yet no no start issues noted. I believe that the scamming is an inside job with KDOL! I also believe they aren't paying us and just hope we will walk away so sad to be treated like you don't matter. Lauren Kelly needs to be recalled!

Kansas Department of Labor Pua benefits

My name is Cynthia butner. I have not received the check in 12 weeks. They remove fraud off my case 2 months ago I called over 1700 times I cannot get a response and an answer to why I have not received my check yet last four digits of my social security is a 8684 for my date of birth is 10 12 71. They keep giving me a run around and tell me something you'll call me back and no one ever contact me back they're still trying to tell me one time fraud is on my case and then the next day when I get ahold of again they tell me that it's going through a different system I cannot get in straight answer I just need to know where my check is please help me I cannot get somebody to our supervisor to return my call I've been hung up from them four times after I told him I want an answer or speak to a supervisor they hang the phone up on me and it keeps switching me and put me on hold for hours at a time I'm not I'm back to square one I've lost everything I own I lost one of my kids and now I'm about to lose my other two because I cannot support them I had messaged the governor and called and I have not got a return call back and nobody knows what's going on with my case

I have been calling for days 50 to 60 calls a day and only get a recording. I have tried chat but that is automated and no help. I have know way to request a call back, I need to speak with someone at the office regarding LWAP and why my benefits have apparently stopped. I really believe the system is broken and I really think at this point it's an excuse. Covid 19 is not a new issue and someone needs to figure out a workable solution. Cell number [protected]

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment claim

I have been struggling to get unemployment compensation all summer. I initially was approved in June 2020. I took a temp job in late July and jAugust which didn't work out, and a 2nd temp job more recently and was fired. I believe I qualify to reinstate my unemployment claim from first application with Walmart in Newton Kansas. I have finally talked with a specialist today. She took the next steps needed to get my benefits. That has to be approved, and again I am waiting 6 to 8 weeks for an answer.
I am completely exhausted of funds and resources. I need help now. Is it at all possible to get my account claim processed immediately? I've been doing my best waiting on determinations since original filing. Since June, and August, and recent claim November. Please please contact them to rush my benefit claim. Can you let me know by contacting me asap?

Kansas Department of Labor Lost wages assistance payment

I made a mistake when filing my weekly unemployment claim for the week ending 8/29 because the information I provided was incorrect I wasn't able to collect the $300 LWAP payment for that week. I corrected the mistake after speaking with KSDOL several times they assured me that the mistake was fixed and that my deposit should be in my account soon. Well it's been way longer than soon. I was told by KDOL that the government is responsible for issuing the payments. I was told by the government that the States Labor Dept. is responsible for the payment. Therefore either one is lying or both are lying. It's frustrating and I think the FEMA grant money is being mis-used. I know of several people that haven't even recieved 1 payment. There's corruption somewhere along the line, now that it's going to be December soon and there's no communication to the public from KDOL, which is not very professional.

Kansas Department of Labor The lengthy time to process my PUA benefit and still unresolved

I had to quit my job due to the covoid 19 back in April. I applied then benefit with kdol, I was told I was not eligible for any kind of help, they were wrong. Again I applied to kdol for help. I was eligible for the PUA benefit. This was in first part of August. For some reason it was handed to the fraud department. After a month my claim status said under review. So I called Kdol, they informed me I needed proof of identity. I emailed the fraud department D L social security card. Still my claim was under review, called Kdol again, told me needed proof of identity, sent proof through emails 15 to 20 times a day. Claim status still read under review. Called kdol again, I was told needed proof of identity, and the reason I quit my job. Sent the information a couple of hundred times again. Now my claim status say my eligibility is being questioned. I called Kdol again, no one could tell my why my claim has not been processed. In all this time the kdol Fraud Department has not one time contacted me. If I had not called it would still be under review. I need help in finding out what is their problem! I soon will be living in my car. I think it's so ironic that they called this, The Cares Act, because evidently No OnE Cares!

Kansas Department of Labor PUA unemployment claim

I am a self employed individual that has ran a small business for over a year now. My business was doing well up until Covid 19 came about. When everything was forced to shut down it completely ran my business into the ground and I began to struggle to make ends meet. I ended up losing everything, spending all of my savings, and lost my place to live due to not being able to keep up with bills and rent. I had heard about the CARES ACT that was supposed to be in place for self employed people like myself so that we could get unemployment help where as normally we can't. I filed my Pandemic assistance claim back in August going back to when I stopped working in March when everything was shut down. Twice my claim ended up in the fraud departments hands so that I could verify my identity and twice the fraud hold was lifted. My point of contact in the fraud department is Kimmi Gardner (Special Investigations Specialist For KDOL's Fraud department. Her phone number is 785-581-7435. After the 2nd time that I verified my identity with Kimmi, I called back a few days later to the PUA department to see if anything had been processed. They informed me that it still shows in their system that my claim was being investigated by the fraud department and I informed them that I had been in contact with the fraud department and that there wasn't a fraud hold on my claim. They proceeded to tell me there is nothing they can do any farther until they received a green light from the fraud department and I was advised to contact fraud again. I immediately called Kimmi Gardner back, in tears, and told her what was going on. She told me that she put it into the system about me not having fraud on my claim and that she couldn't figure out what was going on. She told me she was emailing her supervisor about the issue. The next week I called Kimmi again to see if she had spoken to her boss about my problem. She then told me I could email her supervisor myself to see if we could get it figured out and kimmi told me that she basically had done her job and she couldn't do anything else. I asked her if she could just contact the PUA department to let them know that there isn't a fraud hold and that it is some type of error, but she said due to tghe workers working from home right now that she had no idea who to get ahold of, which is why she said she couldn't do anything else. I have reached out to Governor Kelly's office 3 times, which they emailed KDOL to ask them to give me an update. On the 3rd time KDOL emailed them back stating that they had given me a final update in August, they didn't of course and I am not yet denied so that doesn't make any sense. I asked the woman in Governor Kelly's office to call Kimmi Gardner or Ronda Kirk from the fraud department so that they could at least verify with the governors office that there isn't a fraud hold and therefore nothing is or has been done to process my claim further so I can get the help that was supposed to be there for self employed people who were greatly impacted by this pandemic. At one point I even uploaded my IRS Tax ID letter and my last years invoices to just help prove that my claim was legitimate. The lady in the Governors Office than got really snotty with me and said there was nothing further that they were willing to do. this again has set me into tears. I have suffered greatly from this pandemic and I have watched a lot of other people I know, get unemployment without a hitch, and here I have lost everything from something I had no control over nor did I ask for this. I'm not asking for a handout either. Its been 5 months now and nothing has changed and I have began seeking for an attorney who will hopefully take on my case without payment until after, because I simply don't know what else to do at this point. I have been treated and have suffered the consequences as if I have done something criminal and I haven't and I don't deserve to be treated as such. All I want is for whatever error is in the system saying there is a fraud hold and there isn't all straightened out and my claim to finally get processed instead of having me sit here, not denied, but 5 months in still waiting for help. My personal opinion is that they are out of funding and they are waiting until December 22nd when the PUA program is no longer available, and then tell me I'm SOL. This is so unfair that my heart is truly broken from this and I don't think I'm going to get over this or recover so easily, if at all. I've lost all hope and my drive is gone. It's taken everything I have not to do something stupid and end it all, but I haven't. Please any help in this matter I would so greatly appreciate you have no idea. My claim came to a complete stop all because P.Gould #197 decides to take the agency’s own initiative and disregard her own rules or laws for the state she works for, being ignorant to the rules and or laws should be consequences up to termination, because P.Gould did not comply with Kansas rules and or laws cost me shame, dept, suffering, homeless nights, family arguments, just a chaotic nightmare, the countless hours trying to get threw here hoping for a actual kdol specialist to receive my call. All the documents and paperwork to fill out send in and nobody acknowledges the documents i’m returning right back, same ones over and over, like their just playing games. For the record i’m from California even tho I did not work out of the state of Kansas, the company I was going to start a job for IEA was in Thyer, Kansas, my initial claim is from Moran, Kansas. Here’s one failed situation many eyes missed and put me in a wreck. Prior to start work in Thyer, Kansas since I came from a Hotspot in California I was unable to reach my place of employment because a health care provider has advised me to self-quarantine for 14 days due to concerns to Covid-19:

i was no longer that job or were unable to reach that job as a direct result of the COVID-19 public health emergency

or if I meet any other criteria by the U.S Secretary of Labor

Not expecting any wages from IEA I receive a W2 from the state of Texas for $228 dollars really WOW, like you could not combine that after I am telling y’all I did not work in Texas what so ever, giving the address of IEA Project to where I was going to start employment. I have no control or knowledge as to why IEA uses Texas as their Taxes location, witch IEA should have informed me to prevent this catastrophe pain suffering migraine headaches, loss of sleep, that a W2 will be coming from Texas, then I could of told Kansas exactly that to prevent this total loss. It drew a red flag in Kansas and immediately stoped my claim after Sept. 22nd my last payment from KDOL and disregards Kansas policy does not try to contact me and fails to abide by dol.ks.gov employment policy rules and or laws witch states: “The individual may file a claim for unemployment in any state they earned money”. The state will “Combine” my wages for my claim. In Kansas , an individual with wages in another state must apply by calling our contact center-you cannot complete an application online in Kansas if your combining wages. “Individuals can only file/claim benefits in one state at a time, so if the begin in one state, their claim will remain with that state! That is straight forward not at all difficult to know or not to understand. For the record the red flag should go to IEA for doing taxes in a different state from actual address of the Project were hard working employees risk their lives. Isn’t that maybe tax invasive? So I get a letter from CSR: 775 on 03/02/2021 with out any income since my last payment on Sept. 22 2020 this notice of determination I received with no employee name, no employee number, no end date, only has a start date of 10-04-2020. In this determination letter states: “The climate is ineligible for PEUC”. “Ineligibility begins 10/04/2020”. “The climate is eligible for non-PEUC unemployment benefits in “KANSAS” or another State”. “An individual is eligible for PEUC benefits only so long as the individual is “not”eligible for any other unemployment benefits”CARES ACT No. 116-136.KDOL gave me 16 days to get a denial letter knowing i’m going to get denied, witch I was told that is what I need in order to continue my claim where they left off to continue filling out claim forms. I was to contact Texas Work Force to file a clame back date to 10/04/2020 is the new document name for this whole circus act. Document 10/04/2020 are wages from Kansas of only $228 that qualify for a new claim in Texas. WOW Amazing imagine CSR: 775 if that was all any one needed to qualify for unemployment insurance benefits in the U.S. If you can’t do your job now, absolutely no way could you keep up with all the qualifiers of $228 dollars hard working citizens applying for unemployment especially in a plandemic! This Determination also established an overpayment for the weeks of 10/10/2020 threw 11/21/2020 total overpayment is $3416! Absolutely absurd REMEMBER why the back date is 10/04/2020 is because CSR:775 made me ineligible stoped my claim cut me off beginning 10/04/2020 the new document name! I received NO Payment from KDOL after Sept. 23rd my last payment ever received! For the record I never received any payment from KDOL after 10/04/2020. P.Gould CSR:197 has only benefits type CWC a completion date of 05/04/2021 call center coments from P.Gould claim filed online eff 04/25/21 KS wages transferred to TX for a 10/04/2020 Claim. Is that the new document name for $228 dollar qualifiers for unemployment witch is the 10/04/2020 claim - called TX via? and their had been some issues with Texas claim. with TX- figured out the claimant should be filing in TX for a 10/04/2020 claim. Really.

advised TX? somebody did that the claimant had been on PEUC in Kansas but should have been filing in TX eff 10/04/2020 an opal was set up for weeks claimed after 10/04/2020.?

climate first stated and stick by my only statement that I did not work in Texas but did receive a W2 from TX wages of only $228 dollars witch CSR:775 and CSR:197 failed to obide by their own Kansas laws, rules, and or procedures

P.Gould took her own initiative and simply with out any research or concern as to why or how these wages from Kansas got to be claimed in Texas just figured or guessed that since the company I was about to start for is based out of Texas then simply no worries the Texas wages are mine. The company is not even based in Texas that is false information straight ignorance or lack of knowledge to ask for help seek appropriate guidance for the correct legitimate honest rules and laws for such situations to be handled in the correct professional manner investigation could potentially lead into something bigger. I’m not the professional in unemployment industry but this was very poorly handled since I overturned this decision with my appeal 3 times maybe 4 but 3 time this same timely appeal and over payment got reversed 3 times it never advanced to the money part where I presented the Denial Letter from Texas confirming I did not qualify for unemployment benefits in Texas their for since I did not qualify in Texas climate is eligible for PEUC benifits since climate exhausted regular unemployment benefits beginning 10/04/2020 ending 03/02/2021. The appeal reversals can reverse the other qualifying entitlements via Bar Inquiries

Kansas Department of Labor Unemployment department

09/21/2020 I was hung up on by a claims specialist who should of been the person to answer my question. He appeared to not have an answer. I have been told over a month ago to wait for a letter from the KDOL that would have information on it and I never received that letter. I have used a call back option and I also never received a call back. The funding the KDOL received appears to have not been put to use at all considering hours are minimal and employees are lacking.

Kansas Department of Labor Catholic thrift shop

I was called into my the office by my manager that I forgot the walkie talkie on over night. We had a discussion in the office. I told her how I felt and said I was going to wait on my customers. I went back up front to the register and started waiting on customers. She went back to the work area where donation are brought and started talking about what was said in our meeting to two of the employee that where back there working. I customer over heard her telling them. She told one employee she was going to fire me. I went to the priest at our church and visited with him and two board members. Then my manager called for a store meeting and was targeting me throu the whole meeting. Then she cut my hours. When she hired me she knew I was wanting full time. Her Nephew quit and she hired another girl. The boy that worked before me she was yelling at him in front of customers and the customer called the police because they where scared for his safety. Since I started in February I have notice a lot of things I didn't think were right. I was talking to a couple of board member on the situations. I know of at least four past employees that she has pushed out. Now she is doing the same to me. What are my rights and an employee.
I could go on forever Of how she is treating me bullying targeting and intimidate. Passed employees that I know of Kerisha Dunlap, Eli Hale, Karen and Amanda Which I will Have to get their last names. I never signed my write up she did on me.

I will leave it at that for now
